a review from amom2kidsandapark.com…read more Whether you're in Campbell for the day or live in the area, Stojanovich Family Park is a must-visit. With "Bugs Life" meets Farm vibes this park offers a variety of play. In addition to the play structure that looks like a water tower, there is an oversized can as a tunnel, giant fruit seats, tractor tires obstacle course, larger than life grasshopper sculpture, bucket swings, a bridge over a dry creek, and educational elements of local farming history. Although it appears tall with the water tower on top, the structure itself is low. There are two slides (a wide and a spiral), steps, an inclined ladder, activities, a look out bubble, and an underneath play area. The park has plenty of shade and it was a perfect place for our post Tortoise Ranch picnic. The grassy areas were well kept with a flat section and hilly section. The dry creek area made for a fun spot to hide out. There were very clean bathrooms. Street parking.

Little park I thought I'd check out because it is a fairly short drive from my house. Well, thank…read moregoodness I came on a weekday because there is essentially no parking here. It's totally surrounded by apartments too, and I drove back and forth on the street for a while and realized there is absolutely zero street parking near the park. I thought I could go around to the other side of the park, but there is no "other side." It's completely hemmed in by a fence on all sides other than the street. I parked right out front near the park name sign (you could fit a whopping 3 cars in that space) but I'm not even sure it's legal because it kinda looks like a loading zone. Other than the parking, it's a nice little park. Plenty of shade and grass (saw a bunch of people with dogs). Small structure with two slides. Sounds like there used to be swings? There's a small section that is caution taped off. A few scattered picnic tables, half of which are in the shade. Some of the ground is the bouncy plastic turf (I have no idea what it's called, sorry) and some is tanbark. It's really perfect for my two year old on a hot day (the shade is excellent, covers the entire play structure, and the play structure, while small, is entertaining enough for her to spend quite a while). However, I'm not going to be back because it's totally inaccessible for people who don't live within walking distance. If I lived nearby, we would come all the time.

Awesome park! There are separate big kid and little kid play structures. In the little kid section…read morethere is even a structure for even littler kids! Appropriate even for crawling babies I think! (See photo) There are ton of benches and picnic tables around the play structures. Intermittent shade. Easy street parking around the park and also looks like its own dedicated lot but I couldn't figure out how to get to the parking lot

We love to come to Houge Park when we want to take our dog for longer walks. We used to come here…read morewith our daughter when she was younger as well. I like that they have two different kids playgrounds, one for children 5-12, and another for children 2-5. There're huge grass areas, and lots of big trees. Many people bring their dogs here in the morning. It's nice to greet and chat with other dog owners. There're often people doing various exercises or dancing in groups in the morning as well. There are quite a lot of picnic tables with BBQ, and we often see people having parties on weekends. Restrooms are in building 2, and they're always clean. There's a parking lot, and street parking in the area is easy, too. Other amenities include basketball courts, tennis courts and outdoor fitness stations (some have missing instructions, though). They even have a horseshoe pit! I feel fortunate to have such as a well-equipped and well-maintained park not too far from us.
