The market runs from June - October and runs along Main Street North and Main Street South. It only runs from 7am - 1pm, so make sure to get there early so you don't miss out on all the fresh goodies. It was a beautiful June day when I stopped by and the weather was perfect! There were plenty of local vendors displaying a variety of products - empanadas, arepas, ice cream, fruits, veggies, breads, and so much more! My aunt and I split a chicken pupusa, which is an El Salvadorian flatbread topped w/ a variety of meats/veggies. It's similar to an arepa if you've had that before. I LOVED it. It was fun to watch them knead the dough, throw it in the fryer and make it fresh right in front of you. We also grabbed some ice cream and some empanadas, all of which were delicious and perfect for the warm June day. One of my flaws (or good qualities...depends who you are) is wanting to buy every single market vendor product I see, especially if it's food. This market was no exception - everything looked delicious! Luckily, I had my grandma around to keep me in check...although she isn't much better than me. If I'm back to visit my fam in the GTA in the summer again, I'll definitely be coming back here.

Prince Of Wales Country Market - This is the picture I took of the sign so I could remember it. Unfortunately, I don't think this is outside :(

Yesterday I finally tried their beef pie, and it was delicious! All the sweets have been spot on. They also have ice cream cones. They have a good deli selection and they can make you a sandwich (with the bread they bake right there). One way they're unique is by having a hot table. To be honest, I'm generally there late afternoon when it's a bit late to order from it, but it all looks good. I'll have to try and visit at lunch time. There are some groceries; however selection is quite limited. I don't think I'd allow it to affect the rating though since you can't expect a place like this to have everything given their size and aim. Maybe a '4.5', but will bump it up since their bakery is just that good.

It's a little grocery store market, with fresh EVERYTHING. They have a small little deli area where you can customize your own sandwich. The bread... oh the bread. I could have slapped some butter on that and gone home it was so fresh. The owners are amazingly friendly and helpful. The gentleman owner (John I heard someone call him) jokingly wouldn't let my buddy put cheddar on his proscuitto sandwich, LOL Who requests that anyway. Instead, John suggesting provolone. The owner was of course, spot on with his suggestion. They have fantastic oils, marinades, dips, and a whack of hot baked food... like chicken parm etc.. The pizza slices looked incredible and you can easily tell they are homemade from scratch. No store bought out of a can stuff here on that 'za. Drool. They sell a whack of local produce, and I really just wanted to buy everything in the store as everything looked so appetizing and fresh. I highly suggest you seek this beautiful little market out if you're up for a drive. They also have a lovely selection of flowers out front that make this little market that much more charming.

This meat shop sells different type of marinated and cooked meat and also have all the regular Indian dishes like butter chicken, goat curry, chilli chicken, shahi paneer etc.. I ordered Amritsari fish pakoda, shahi paneer, kadai chicken, chicken biryani and butter naan. It's a very busy location, it took almost 30 minutes to get my food. They had 5 people working at front, they can do a better job with efficiency and throughput. Anyways the food is really good and fresh. Fish pakoda is one of the best in GTA. Even the chicken biryani was good and had a amazing flavour. I will definitely go back and will recommend to others.

Fine ! Then the quality of chicken makhani was a little low and quantity too. Briyani was worst, when I reached home and opened the box crap. It was spoilt. My husband served it on the plate without realizing , later when we smelled it , it was no good. I was not in any mood to go back with the spoilt rice to argue. Better don't waste time in this place.
