My facial was the weirdest, cringiest, awful spa experience ever. It was so crazy- I was confused and just wanted it to end. I think she used dollar store products on my face the whole time, no lovely smells, musky steam machine... she wiped my face with baby wipes!!!!! No name baby wipes to wash my face?!? And then she placed the wipe over my face for an extended time at one point! It felt like she was just trying to do things to fill the hour... she just slapped some lotion on that didn't even smell good and then roughly wiped it off and then I think she put one of those dollar store sheet masks on (right from the tinfoil package) and continued to dump the remaining liquid on my face. She kept shining the very bright light in my eyes, it would be so bright and then she turned it off and turned it on and off - nothing covering my eyes... it was not relaxing! She did some weird massage that wasn't a Massage. She just basically poured baby oil in my hair and then poked around a bit. It was horrible- almost hilarious as it was unbelievable. I laughed at one point when she was snapping over my face. Do yourself a favour.., choose a different place to spend your time and money.

When I did enter though it was quite dark and I honestly felt I had travelled to some massage parlour from the 1970s. The furniture, plastic plants,styrofoam cups and the whole feel of it made me feel I had just travelled back in time. The rates were jiffy markered on a piece of paper that was taped to the wall. 1/2 hour at $40, hour at $60 and 1 hour at $80. The woman working there was very friendly and she explained that there were only 3 rooms and that you didn't really need to book in advance. Hours are from 10 am to 10 pm, it was all very up and up but I must honestly say it did leave me wondering!
