And I haven't even begun to talk about the flavors. Their signature dish/pastry is the Mont Blanc. It is highly sought after, and often run out before the afternoon. We made a point of going there yesterday, from my partner's birthday to get some special treats. We were not disappointed. Despite being jampacked, as it often is, there was a good supply of the pastries we sought. New to the mix, is their version of a tiramisu. It is off the charts! The pastry chef is truly an artist. If you wish to try possibly the best pastries in the entire GTA, this is the place to go. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. It also pays a call ahead to ensure that you can get the products that you're looking for.

This place can get super busy, and you'll have to stop by earlier, as their selections do run out! The staff are pretty good in moving the lines along; there is a handful of seating, but most seem to pickup desserts to-go. Ample parking in the shared plaza lot. +delicious desserts +Mini Croissants +friendly staff and service +free parking

Last Saturday, I was in my car, parked steps away from Zoup! I had placed a dinner order. I looked across the plaza and noticed Paris Baguette (PB). I had visited COBS Bread a couple of hours earlier. Did I need another bakery visit? Yes! I had some time to kill before picking up my dinner. It was raining. I drove over to PB and parked relatively close to the store. I walked in. I felt like I was in heaven. Carb heaven. Where should I start? I got a tray. There were instructions to grab a small piece of paper and lay it on the tray. I got tongs and went to work. I saw palmiers. My mom loves them. I grabbed one with my tongs and broke off a curved section. It was probably a first for me. I ate the broken part and placed the imperfect palmier on my tray. The broken piece was yummy and was perfection. I finally understood why my mom loves palmiers. I hit the croissant section. I got a pain au chocolat, which is probably my favourite type of croissant. I also got a chocolate croissant. A nice, older woman started chatting with me. She was so sweet. She let me know that she frequents this bakery often and loves it. I asked her what items she hasn't had. It was two items, which floored me. She noticed the chausson aux pommes that I had on my tray and said that it was yummy. I got the following items: - Chausson aux pommes - Chocolate croissant - Pineapple brûlée pastry - Palmier - Pastel de nata - Pain au chocolat - Curry croquette The nice woman let me know that Mia, who was the staffer behind the counter, let her know that this bakery has Korean owners. Really? It made sense seeing mochi donuts. We both hit the checkout counter. Mia got her order and said to grab a seat. She'd bring everything to her. This nice woman said that she was shy of being 90 years old. What?! She looked great! I wouldn't have guessed that I was talking to an 89-year-old woman during my entire time here. I hope that when I am her age, I am savouring pastry as often as my new friend. Mia was great. She put all my pastries in a box. She singled out my savoury curry croquette in a paper bag. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I got my receipt, thanked her, grabbed my goodies, wished my new friend a wonderful day, and left. There was a Wild game that night. I had a pastry each period. Three pastries in three hours. They were delicious! I will say that the ones with fresh fruit were the most expensive, just over $6. They were worth it. The chausson aux pommes had the best apple filling. It was flaky and delicious. I absolutely devoured the pineapple brûlée pastry. The pineapple chunks were set in custard and were so naturally sweet. This pastry was superb. The pain au chocolat continues to be my favourite croissant. It was flaky and had the best chocolate in every bite. So good! I had the chocolate croissant and loved it. It was fresh, flaky, and soft. The chocolate drizzle had the right amount of chocolate with the buttery croissant. I was extremely happy with my pastel de nata. The custard had a hint of sweetness. The base of flaky. It could have been torched on top more, but I'd get half a dozen next time. I didn't know what to expect with the curry croquette. It was delicious. It had a crispy exterior, crusted with a mix of white and black sesame seeds. The curry filling was full of good flavour. It had veggies in it. The corn and carrot combination worked nicely. I raved about this place to my friend at work today. There's one at Heartland in Mississauga, which is perfect for us to do a run after work. I had an excellent experience. It was nice meeting a passionate pastry lover while getting her take on what she loves. Everything that I consumed was excellent. I hope to get a drink next time and perhaps sit down to enjoy it. I'll be back. (117)

Browsed my Yelp app in attempt to find a bakery nearby and was probably the best idea ever!…read more I have driven across this bakery numerous times as it is located in a plaza with The Beer Store. The store was very quiet when I arrived, one other customer browsing the display. There are some seats there and the store front is very spacious and clean. I had a very tough time deciding what to pick up as everything looked amazing and fresh. I finally decided on the apple tart ($18), napoleon ($3), raspberry napoleon ($3.5), tiramisu ($4) and raspberry mousse ($4). The only item I tried was the apple tart as the rest were given t ofriends and family. The apple tart was perfectly light and the apples were very fresh. I will definitely be back to try other things.... probably later this week!! PS. They are closed on Mondays.

The place was empty when I looked through the windows, but my Yelp friend just dragged me in. I do have to thanks him for that. All I have to say their pastries is amazing! And so good in value! They all looked so good in the display so it took us a little while to decide what to get. Raspberry Napoleon ($3.50) tasted delish and huge! Chocolate waffles ($2.50) so rich! Americano and Cappuccino for $1.50 each?! Who needs to go to Tim Hortons just across the street?! Now I need to come back to try out other home made pastries and desserts! Danish? Apple Tarts? or More Napoleon!!

Never had I had a pastry from this shop that was not up to par. I drive almost an hour to get the pastry from here, so that should tell you how solid they are. Service always very nice. The Richmond Hill location which I frequent has no dine inside option. They also sell to the grocery stores, definitely seen their cakes in Fortinos. They are on the pricier side but worth it. Service was great as I was greeted immediately when stepping into the bakery, the shop decor is modern, vibrant and clean. I got this 8-inch Cookies and Cream Cheesecake, it was moist and delicious, but the Oreo biscuits on top were a bit soft, and chocolate taste overpowered all cheese flavour as I wasn't able to taste any cheese at all, however this was still a delicious cake. La Rocca also sells their cakes via some supermarket chains, whole cakes sold in chain stores priced a few dollars lower than La Rocca store (see attached photos for same cake, Loblaw sold $32, La Rocca sold $36), is this because La Rocca store sells fresher cakes than supermarket chains as I wonder why the price difference! I'm grateful with such a wonderful cake shop in the neighbourhood, La Rocca is always be one of my favourite cake shops!
