So I split it between two machines and gave them an extra 30 minutes each and that took care of it. Lesson: don't put too much in one dryer even if it has the space. They have speakers throughout the laundromat continuously advertising that there is ozone in the water as a disinfectant. Over and over, the whole time you're there, alternating English and Spanish. But..a few things have made me take my business elsewhere Recently, I needed to have two long special occasion dresses cleaned. The girl at the counter told me that the rhinestone straps on one of the dresses could be damaged or lost. Anyway, I decided to quickly remove the rhinestone straps thinking I would sew them back on when I got the dress back. That same dress had rips on the bottom hem. When my husband picked up the two dresses it was over $80. Now I am okay with paying for a premium service if premium service is provided but for $40 to dry clean a long dress, DO NOT have me remove the straps so they won't get damaged. Also, they sent my husband a text that they could repair the bottom hem of the dress after he picked up my order. That service wasn't offered to me when I was dropping off the dress. My second experience was with a yellow dress and two small light marks (photo) - The manager told me that they might not be able to get the marks off the dress. Really? That disclaimer has happened almost every time I have dropped off any clothing item that has a mark or spot to this dry cleaner. These were not heavily soiled or stained garments - just light marks from general wear. What's the purpose of dry cleaning if not to get the clothes clean? If they are going to tell me every time that I drop off clothing that my items may be damaged or they might not be able to clean it completely, I'll find a place more confident in their abilities to provide the service they are charging me for.

My dad had gone to this cleaners while I was growing up, so when I came home and needed some clothes cleaned, I just went to where I remembered. HUGE mistake. First off, the lady was training someone new and was being really horrible to her. I almost stuck up for the lady because of the treatment she was receiving. Then I asked a few simple questions and she snapped at me. When I called her out on it, she of course tried to turn it around "Oh i was just so shocked i'd never heard of anything like that!" I call BS baby. When my mom went to go pick up the clothes, they had rejected a few of them. "Since they were training, they missed them during the sort." More like they were too busy being jerks to actually do their job. Also, one item was rejected because it had a leather collar - it is 100% silk with not leather at all. Very strange. When they gave her the clothes back, some of the clothes were damaged. Not only that, but they didn't refund her the money. She came home and said the lady was still being horrible to her trainee and was rude to her. Seems like a trend. I went back to get my refund and they told me to contact the owner to tell him my grievances. I wrote the owner an email (only way to reach him - convenient right?) and he basically made excuses and did nothing. Funny thing is, when they refunded me, they didn't give me the right amount of money back. The owner said he would mail me the difference (I live in a different state), but I have yet to receive a check and it has been almost a month. I honestly would've rather flushed the money and my damaged clothes down the toilet.

So I returned later that day she measured me up and did fitting, then I asked about keeping original hem, she said it would be way more difficult to line up and take more time additional price and I decided it wasn't worth keeping original hem if alterations cost more than uniform.... I was disappointed to be honest and wondered what kind of work she did since I never used her or any seamstress since moving to Oro Valley. When I picked up my scrub pants which were 4 pair she matched the color thread so well and noticed impeccable stitching. Now I understand why she would charge more for original hem because it is difficult color to line up as well as the slits etc... but do not regret my decision. I am excited to find such talented seamstress so close to me, and cleaners when I need. Very good quality work, there was some broken Korean- English which I felt comfortable that she and I were both on same page. The last 3 visits which are weekly I noticed that my board shorts come back very wrinkled and almost look they have not been dry cleaned the last time about a 2 weeks ago I asked the individual to please have them redone. When I went to pick up it they looked the same. He said I can resend and I said I am going out of town and need so he offered 1/2 off but said the manager may disagree and ask for the 1/2 off returned. This morning, my husband went to drop of my things off and was told by the young person that I need to go somewhere else. Absolutely amazing, but what is more interesting is I've noticed for about a year that they are doing less and less dry cleaning and laundry as not alot of folks using them anymore. I wonder why!
