We had an unknown long-term leak that caused damage to the walls and flooring. Orange County Restoration made the entire process much easier than we expected. From the start, they were professional, attentive, and very responsive in their communication. The team was very knowledgeable and kept us informed every step of the way. Jeff, Rico, Alex, and Eddie were all amazing and ensured the project delivered seamlessly. They took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure we felt comfortable with the process. We were especially impressed with how careful and meticulous they were in prepping the area and setting up proper containment. The quality of their work was excellent, and they handled everything efficiently and with great care. We are extremely satisfied with the results and truly appreciate their dedication and professionalism. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of remediation services. read more

Jeff came out to our rental home, immediately saw the deficiencies of the work of the lesser remediation company that our landlord used to treat a water leak & mold exposure in our rental home. He gave us a clear quote on how to do a deep HEPA cleaning for all of our personal belongings as we relocated under distress. While I hope to not need their services again, definitely give them a call for a quote - top notch professionalism. read more

We had a great experience with Orange County restoration. The entire crew was fantastic and extremely thorough in their work. Everything was done very clean. Rico, our main point of contact took great care of us and consistently followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly. This company clearly takes pride in what they do. We are very satisfied with the results. read more

The experience with Orange County Restoration is very bad. I had water damage in November. The old dishwasher was leaking, and it had been leaking for a long time, since the whole toe kick area in the kitchen is rotten. When my property manager helped me to contact Orange County Restoration Services, they came very quickly. After taking a brief look, they misled me into believing that it is highly likely the insurance company can cover the loss, and they can help to prepare the materials needed by the insurance company. I didn't have much experience with this; I believed them and signed the contract. After signing the contract, they started working in my house. However, when I had questions, especially questions about insurance, it was hard to find anyone to give me answers. After leaving messages and complaining about this, the feedback was that they were working on a large commercial loss and had no time to get back to me. Based on the contract, they would help to demolish the rotten area and set up the dry equipment for 7 days. However, when I stopped by the house about 2 weeks later, I noticed that the kitchen area was still wet. Also, according to the contract, supposedly, they need to give me written notice that the work has been done, but so far, I haven't received any formal notice, even though my credit card has already been charged with the full amount. So, what I experienced is that they only care about how to maximize the gain from others' loss, instead of trying to minimize their loss. ------------------------ It was not about feeling misled by the "insurance process" but by the information provided about the likelihood of being covered by insurance at the beginning. Also, it was not about feeling frustrated when insurance denies a claim.  My overall feeling is that I was misled into signing the contract; after signing, no one seemed to care about me. No one told me where the leak was, no one showed me the drying effect, and no one told me that the work had been done. That's really bad. read more

The people at OC Restoration went absolutely above and beyond to help fix our home. Jeff was very responsive whenever we needed clarification, and went above and beyond when dealing with a complicated situation with another company that we were simultaneously dealing with to fix a leak. They spoke up for our cause when the other company had messed up, and continued to be amazingly helpful throughout the whole process. Would definitely recommend to anyone else needing their services. read more

Smoke, soot, and ash from the Altadena fires drove me and my family out of our two houses in January. I can't overstate the stress and trauma we have all felt, particularly my children and my elderly mother-in-law. To make things more complicated, each house is insured by a different company, so I was thrust into the role of full-time insurance manager, trying to navigate the chaos and uncertainty of post-fire life. A neighbor recommended Jeff, and that marked a turning point in this whole mess. Jeff said to me, I am very kind to my clients, but I'm a bulldog with the insurance companies -- and he has proven that. Having him in my corner as we negotiate with the insurance companies was the start of my feeling like maybe we would be able to put our lives back together. Once it came time to actually remediate, Jeff sent Dennis, Hugo and their teams, who have done an incredible job. They cleaned every (and I mean EVERY) surface, and every item in the houses, plus ducts, AC units, roofs, exterior walls, ceilings, behind appliances... They have taken extraordinary care of our houses and our things, and we are so grateful. We will be home soon, thanks to these guys and their teams. Jeff, please know that the service you provide is so much more than remediation -- it really means the world to have someone like you help us move past disaster and start living again! Thank you so much read more

These guys were awesome. They went above and beyond to help us out in a cost efficient manner. This was the first time we've worked with a restoration company where it didn't feel like they were ripping us off. Price was great and quality of work too. Shout out to Rico and Javier for their amazing customer service. We've unfortunately had a lot of water damage in our house and this was by far the best company interaction we have had. We will definitely be using them again if (heaven forbid) more water damage happens in the future. read more

My husband and I recently had a leak from a pipe connecting the water heater and washing machine, where it damaged the dry wall/insulation/floor in the closet and inside our home. Being new home owners, we google searched restoration companies and found Orange County Restoration Services (among other companies) who we called and quickly scheduled to have them come in and give us a quote. Jeff arrived for our appointment and the way he carried himself and handled our appointment was night and day compared to the others. He did his own evaluation and just sat with us to talk about our questions and concerns, and what the next steps forward would be if we chose his company. No one else really bothered to stay long enough to hear us out. We were sold just from that time alone. And of course, we moved forward and even got a team member out to help get the process started that night. Fast forward to just a few days and their team had begun demolition, working fast and efficient with pulling out all the damaged pieces within a day. The area was barricaded and covered with tarp, and the damaged wall/floors/insulation was hauled away to be disposed off. Everyday afterwards, they came by to do moisture checks and continued to answer our questions and concerns if they came up. Their work was immaculate and incredibly well done, being thorough with not leaving anything to chance for mistakes or future problems. Now we are in the process of putting back in new walls and floors, where Orange County Restorations Services had recommended a Construction Company that we are currently very impressed with! I now that if we ever have home problems in the future, without a doubt we will choose them as our first company. I cannot say enough how much I value the peace of mind and work they've done for us. read more

I couldn't be happier that we chose OC Restoration Services to fix our roof leak and water damage that went into our garage and front rooms. I have Lyme disease and Asthma and am highly sensitive to many things, so for me, getting the right company to work on our home was a must. The OC Restoration Team went above and beyond to make sure that everything was contained correctly and professionally, that the products that were used were allergy friendly, and were really good at making sure all of our questions were answered whenever we had them. They were very transparent and patient with us each step of the way, which we are so appreciative of. All of the staff that came into our home were knowledgable, friendly, and professional. Five Stars is not adequate for Jeff and his team. In a sudden water emergency in my 90 year old parents manufactured home with special senior needs; I vetted fast and found them in the neighborhood doing other work. Jeff came over very late in an already long day for us and his team, and our trust based on his 30 years plus of experience, excellent listening skills and ability to create a plan and direct his team was impressive. Each day in discovery they kept us informed, went the extra mile in their work, were kind in all the questions and mounting anxiety to more my parents out to a safe place, worked with the insurance company, and referred us to others for the next step of rebuilding. When you want the best; you get it with OC Restoration and Jeff's team. Our gratitude is beyond words. Denise L and family read more

Just finished a mold remediation project with OC. Discovered this company through word of mouth. Was communicating directly with Jeff the owner after we discovered what looked like black mold in our guest bath. Jeff came the next day to run test and walk us through the entire mitigation process. Very thorough and knowledgeable on the topic which was reassuring. Price was right and he and team got to work. Lead tech Salvador did an amazing job getting the site ready. Laid down protective barriers on the floor and constructed the safe wall barriers before doing any demo. The entire team was outstanding. From the front office with Naomi that kept us informed of upcoming visits to the box of cookies that arrived as a thank you. Mold is gone and we couldn't be happier. read more

Jeff was extremely quick and responsive. He came over within an hour to assess the damage and put together an estimate. He carefully talked me through the water remediation plan, and was very thoughtful about the demolition strategy to minimize the amount of rebuild required. His team was very professional and put together a nice and clean containment zone and they were careful to design it so that the space was still semi liveable/functional for us. I highly recommend this OC Restoration Services. read more

OC Restore worked on my house about a year ago. There was one area that I was concerned about that they covered in plastic. Once I removed it there was still a mildewy smell coming from the wall after they had completed the restoration work. Jeff said he'd come out on a Saturday to look at it, which I appreciated. He sprayed an "enzymatic cleanser" around the area but I told him we needed to open up the wall. He said that would require ripping out my backsplash, which I said I was fine with. Especially since his team had already cracked my countertop and parts of the backsplash so it was going to have to be replaced anyway. He basically said it was no big deal and left. Well it's a year later and we tested it and mold is still in that area. I now have to rip out my new backsplash and do remediation again. There hasn't been any leaks or new issues in that area. It just wasn't dealt with properly the first time. If you have health issues I would not work with OC Restore because they do not do a thorough job. Also scheduling with them was really difficult. I was told they'd be done working on my house twice and I could move back in and both times they weren't done working. This was super frustrating because I had to find places to stay last minute. I'd call the office and they had no idea what the construction team was doing, and vice versa. Everyone was super nice though. Edit: Yes, I did do a clearance test. however OC Restore put plastic and tapped it to the wall, so the area still affected with mold was not included in the test. See the teal tape and plastic in the included pic. The wall cavity behind the backsplash was what I was concerned about. Jeff was aware of this area because he came out after the remediation was completed, which I appreciated, but he didn't think it was an issue even though it still smelled musty. Then I naively went through with the rebuild. Now I know that I need to remove all the plastic barriers a remediation company puts up before the clearance test because there still could be issues. read more

The entire team at OC Restoration services are the absolute BEST! We hired the team for a serious water issue at our loft in Downtown LA. Jeff came right away to do the inspection and was extremely thorough-- even finding water where we had not expected to find it. Jesse, the team lead, met me on the day the work started and went through the scope of work with the HOA and his team. Finally, Elena was extremely helpful coordinating all of the specific requirements to do work at a high rise building and handled any of the bumps along the way-- truly a blessing to have her on our side! I would recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service. read more

OC Restoration Services came to our rescue after another company completed the mold remediation but didn't pass the air sampling. We decided to part ways with that company, and that's where OC Restoration Services saved the day. Very grateful that we had a very capable team in Jeff, Isaiah, Oscar, and Vincent. read more

I've called on Jeff a dozen times over the years, always urgent and always important. A 20 minute response time is an exaggeration - Jeff or his time typically respond in seconds, and are extremely thorough in their process. I've called OC Restoration when other services have failed to respond, failed to generate results quickly, or been non-committal in their estimates. I keep Jeff and his team on speed-dial, and will continue to do so. I couldn't be happier, and he continues to impress my clients, and myself. read more

I had something growing out of my tile, and panicked thinking it was mold since our complex was recently re - piped and had water leak issues. We had somebody come out to do a free consultation and had a wonderful experience. They were here for under 5 minutes and reassured me that it was in fact not mold, and that there was no mold, but it was calcium and lime growing out of the natural stone that my floors are made out of. They did the consultation completely for FREE and even gave me a pack of girl scout cookies, and even explained to me how mold works and what it needs to grow, and how what we actually have growing was not toxic or dangerous at all. I'm extremely grateful and will definitely recommend or use them in the future! Wonderful company and extremely nice and super helpful employees! read more

I really cannot say enough great things about Jeff and his team; I don't know how we would have gotten through our recent water damage without him! We had a pretty bad leak in the attic (standing water, pools in the wall, etc.) and had absolutely no idea how to handle it. Jeff came out, assessed the whole situation, and immediately started remediation to fix everything. He also helped us coordinate with all the teams we needed to work with: environmental assessments (for asbestos & mold), abatement, and construction (for opening up the walls). Also, I'd like to note that during the entire process Jeff was always ready and willing to get the job done -- when something was stalled it was always because we were waiting on our insurance company! Jeff and his crew are truly great people and really care about getting you through the whole remediation process so you can get on with your life. Hopefully this kind of damage doesn't happen again to our home, but if it does, we'll call Jeff before anyone else. Thanks again!! read more

Jeff Murray was highly recommended to me for mold remediation. Lucky for me he was able to schedule an estimate on extremely short notice for a property in a short escrow. Jeff is knowledgeble, thorough and personable. He was able to point out issues of concern that others might overlook. Later in the day I received a comprehensive estimate for the project with all costs itemized, Including sketches and measurements of the affected areas. Thank you Jeff for the time and effort you put into providing this estimate. You provided a tangible way to negotiate further with the seller. OC Restoration did a great job on our very complicated mold remediation project. Jeff Murray the owner is extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and thorough. Everyone on his team was extremely professional and did a great job. Rosi in the office is especially helpful and kind, she deserves an award for customer service. OC Restoration went above and beyond our expectations. OC Restoration was recommended to us by a mold inspector after two previous mold remediation companies botched the job. There was a night and day difference between those two other companies and OC Restoration. I highly recommend anyone to call OC Restoration first, and get it done right the first time. read more

110% the crew at OC Restoration are honest, experts, and professionals in their business. I was in a serious bind with a major leak into a downstairs bedroom just a couple of days prior to a tenant moving into the home. Jeff himself showed up the very next day while his guys removed the drywall. They identified the leak sources above so that I was able to have them patched immediately and prevent further leaking during the ensuing rains. They returned to several times to make certain the moisture level had dropped to the desired level, and that the mold had all been remediated for safe use of the bedroom. I highly recommend them to anyone under water as I was! Like Comment Share read more

This is a long overdue and heartfelt review... A few months ago we bought our dream house. Its a total fixer upper and we new it would be some work to rehab ... I met Jeff and he offered to look at it us. He came in and he found some problems .. including mold... It freaked me out .. Mold is such a bad word. Jeff was awesome .. he reassured me that the mold and the other problems were not that big of a deal. He even showed me how to deal with it. He didnt try to sell me on a service that was overkill for our problem. He was honest, not pushy and didnt take advantage our my trusting nature. He did say that if we found more serious problems with our home as we did our rehab he would be more than happy to help us fix them at a reasonable price. After all he barely charged me anything ... he deserved more for his time .. but the least I could do is leave him this review. If you are looking for an honest company to help you with your restoration needs .. you need not look any further. Thanks Jeff and Orange County Restoration Services. read more
