The store is modern and comfortable and features everything you'd expect to find from a large standalone Apple Store in a big city - it features the latest Apple Tech from iPhone to iPad, from MacBooks to Apple Watches, as well as a "Today at Apple" section as well as plenty of places to sit down, which is handy if you want to relax for a little while sightseeing, or simply to charge your phone and hop on the WiFi. It is set over more than one floor, so it can be a little tricky to work out the layout at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's nothing to worry about. I didn't find the staff at this particular location to be as helpful or friendly as other Apple locations on both my visits in 2017 and 2024. 4*

Being lost in the area, I called in this store to ask for directions and I was rudely treated by a member of staff, who barely acknowledged me let alone helped me, my friend is actually an Orange customer while in Barcelona so they should have done more to assist as up until 2010 or 2011 or so, Orange were actually a mobile network in the UK, before they merged with T-Mobile to create EE, since taken over by BT. It was interesting for me to be in an Orange store again after many years, they seemed to stick with the similar white and orange theme from their logo. The store basically does what it requires in terms of size, yet it isn't a huge store and I'd even say rival phone network Vodafone's store next store to this one is larger. Due to the rudeness I was dealt with by a staff member here, I really feel this certainly isn't a nice place to go, even if you want a new phone contract, the store its-self seems much poorer around than other branches of rival chains such as Vodafone too, who tend to have newer, more modern stores with a focus around transparency and glass, because of this I sadly feel this Orange store deserves a single one star.

It was showing the recovery mode screen at times, other times it was stuck in a loop repeating Apple logo, horizontal flicker, dark. I was very worried about what I may have lost, and I couldn't imagine waiting to get home to try to get it fixed, because phones have become such a necessary part of air travel. I had done some googling on the hostel's computer and it looked potentially hopeless but I took my phone to iFixIt just in case, because of the great reviews they had. Within a few minutes of me getting to the store, the attendant opened the phone and showed me my Home Screen again! What a wonderful sight! He said that he had seen this situation before and it was due to moisture getting in through that horizontal opening at the top of the screen (in this case probably from putting phone inside bra on a very hot excursion), and he could fix it by swapping out a part. I was shocked, as none of my googling had even mentioned this as a possibility. He gave me the option of letting him try to restore the part and preserve facial recognition, which would take a few hours. I said sure, and walked around for a while. As it happened, this was not possible, but I got my working phone back! I couldn't have been more surprised or pleased. I highly recommend this store! Thank you, iFixIt!

Data works no problem which is fine for mapping your way around town. Calling home? not so much. Weeks into the basically pre-paid plan and no international calls work. Have been to the store 3 times to correct, with each time being " It should work in 24 hours" but only after staff member calls their own Tech Support to get things cleared up. Complained on Facebook about this and the reply I received was "to top up/recharge my SIM card". I've never used the credit ON the SIM card I purchased from you. Why would I top it up!! I thought Orang was bad in France (plans that had an expiry date on credit). Vodafone is like Rogers in Canada; the biggest player in the market BUT customer horrible service.

I needed a screen replacement on an iphone 5 and what I thought was a battery replacement on an iphone 5s. I went to Recambios Movil and explained both problems. Both the lady and the man were super helpful! I speak a little Spanish but not enough to discuss these issues and they both tried their very best to speak in English (they have a great level by the way). He gave me a quote on the spot and I decided to go with the cheaper option of replacing the battery on the 5s. Once he opened the phone he realised the problem was actually with the motherboard, and not the battery and explained how it would be very expensive to fix and frankly not worth it. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on fixing the screen on the 5 because I'm a student and so money is pretty tight ;) But he did me a HUGE favour and offered to do it for me at a really really good price. I'm so so grateful, he spent so much time on my problems and only charged me for the replacement of the screen. If any of you have any problems and are looking for a place in Barcelona I cannot recommend Recambios Movil enough. They're genuinely helpful and are completely honest.
