I have been a HUGE fan of Oram's Donut Shop for years! All of their donuts taste great! They offer a large selection of different types and flavors! There is truly something for everyone! My favorites are their regular and seasonal cream filled donuts! I think their donuts are out of this world!!! The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and welcoming when you walk in! The staff is always very friendly and helpful! If you have not given Oram's Donut Shop a try you most definitely should! I always get cravings for their OUTSTANDING donuts! Quality donuts! I can see and taste why Oram's always shows up when I google best donuts in PGH! I finally had the chance to swing by this morning and I'm glad I pre-ordered. There wasn't a wait but it was nice to be able to see the options and choose ahead of time, and everything was there and ready to go! My donuts today taste great so far, I had a seasonal key lime pie flavor that was spot on, though a TINY bit on the sweet side. Then again, I opted for key lime so I should've known! Fresh donuts are definitely the way to go. I tried a gas station Oram's cinnamon roll once and that was a real bummer. Only minus one star because something was off about the taste of the glazed raised donut, not off as in spoiled, simply off as in not quite to my personal preference. It's possible that this place would have been a 5* if I'd actually been able to try the donuts, but they were sold out (and only had bakery goods, which I'll review below) by the time we got there (11:15 am). Apparently you can preorder (even the previous day), which I should've done. That said, the Bavarian cream puff was very good, with a fresh dough, and the chocolate muffin was standard but nicely moist and chocolatey. Hard to resist Oram's. Decided to finally make the trek up from Cranberry to try them. First off, they are ridiculously affordable - four donuts and a coffee for ~$8 is quite a pleasant price. Notice too I said "affordable" instead of "cheap" because they didn't skimp on quality. The pumpkin spice donut was the best of the four I got. Sweet enough but also had enough spice to make it taste like a grandma cake. The blueberry donut had so much fruity flavor. The cinnamon powdered vanilla one would go great with coffee and cream. The donuts were fresh and moist (not pictured was the toasted coconut donut - had the prettiest golden color but tasted great too). Super friendly people here too. Only wish they were closer to Pittsburgh. read more

Service was admirable, it's the same location I've been going to for my entire life of eat Donuts probably 65 years. Over the years things change as they always do. The flavor of the Donuts is one. The original recipe with original ingredients surpasses anything done since the government got involved in removing things. The Donuts are still good, but not as good, not even close. Plus the size of the Donuts has changed as well. Much smaller than the past but still good and edible. Today I got 6 Donuts. As you can see the cinnamon roll is the same size as the regular Donuts. When I first ate a cinnamon roll it filled a 10" paper plate. Today's version is the same size as the others. Premium prices for Donuts not as good in the past. Sad to say but I've probably bought my last Donuts from a Legend Oram's. read more

Ive had Orams plenty of times but was able to visit on a Thursday morning around 7:30 AM. These donuts live up to their reputation. If you are anywhere near Beaver Falls, you get Oram's. They are famous for their huge cinnamon roll donut but their cream filled donut is actually better. Bottom line this is an old school donut shop. Everything is fantastic and great service. Years ago I worked with someone from the area who constantly brought in these gigantic cinnamon swirl Donuts the size of your head. They're delicious. Plus so many more treats too!! I live Oram's, plain and simple. This past weekend while my family was asleep I made my way over to Beaver Falls to get donuts and of course their famous cinnamon rolls. The line was small when I arrived around 9:40 am. The donuts had been picked through a little bit and there wasn't the largest selection left, but there was a decent amount. I ordered cinnamon rolls to take to my parents later in the day. Then for our family I ordered some cinnamon rolls, the special donut which was a cordial cherry flavored filled donut and then some simple glazed donuts. Everything was so darn fresh and tasty. I tried a little of the cordial cherry donut and found it to be very good. Of all the times I've been here, I never have ordered simple glazed donuts. I was very impressed, in fact it was one of the best glazed donuts I've had in quite a long while. I will continue to visit Oram's every so often for their amazing baked goods. read more

Moved to the area recently and people have been raving about Oram's so today I popped in to try the cinnamon roll--short story shorter, it didn't disappoint! It was roughly the size of a two-year old child and loaded with cinnamon and heavenly glaze! Prices for all donuts were very reasonable but I just wanted to try the one today. Today was the first time I've ever actually been to the Orams store. I've had their donuts before through resellers but getting them from the store was fantastic. My favorite was the cinnamon roll that was sweet and spiced. I had a weekly special donut that was strawberry iced with lemon filling. The strawberry icing was perfectly flavored without being tasting of fake strawberry. I also had a lemon iced donut and I sadly hated it. They are some of the best donuts we've ever had and definitely worth the hype. The donut with the peanut butter cream filling was out of this world. This isn't my favorite donut in the Pittsburgh area, but I definitely see what the fuss is about. I've had them from other venues but this was my first visit to pick up in Beaver Falls. I appreciate the fact you can order ahead any flavors you want, including for a next-day order. The raised and filled donuts are good - but can be very sweet with more of a cake-like frosting. I like how airy their cake donuts are but usually have to remove some of the icing for the sake of my molars. Ginormous Cinnamon Rolls. They are so huge and so delicious that we find ourselves craving them with an intensity reserved for the best of the best. They are about the size of a football. I'm not kidding. I have no idea what makes these so tasty but man, they are GOOD. They are lightly coated with a sugar wash and have just the right amount of cinnamon. When we used to work in an office (you know, before COVID sent us all home to work), a coworker would bring these in occasionally for Birthdays and other special celebrations. Invariably, I would approach the box and cut a half of one to eat at my desk. I'd find myself sneaking back to retrieve the other half in 30 minutes. You just can't resist these things.
