Be careful with their promises…read more I had my implant installed by Dr Prabhu, and the crown on it was placed by my dentist (they do not do crowns at Oral Surgery Group). After a while the crown started to wobble. I came back to Dr Prabhu in hope that he would offer a quick fix to me. Initially he told me that he would just clean the assembly, but then he realized that it was too contaminated, and the implant has to be reinstalled. He told me that the whole job would be at no additional cost to me. He told me that he would do the implant reinstallation without charging me anything and he would reimburse my dentist for a new crown. Indeed he reinstalled my implant at no cost. However, when I had submitted to him a bill for a crown from my dentist (which I paid by myself), he stopped communicating with me. He does not reply to my calls or answer my numerous emails. I don't know if a verbal promise is legally binding, but it clearly would be more difficult for me to prove that he gave me that promise.

Let me just start off by saying that I really hated going to the dentist until I came to this…read moreDentist office. What I enjoy most about this dentist office is the quality of the service that is provided everytime. I remember my first appointment with Dr. Ibrahim like it was yesterday. I walked in and I told him all about my bad experiences with dentist in the past and he assured me that it would be OK; he was right. Just a few examples of how AMAZING Dr. Ibrahim and his team are: I had a route canal done in his office and returned right to work following the procedure. Everyone in the office was so surprised at how well I was doing. I was in Florida when I broke my tooth and I was able to call him on his cell phone about what I should do until I returned to jersey. He schedule me to the same day that I arrived back from my trip. I had a route canal that got infected because I failed to follow doctors orders and take the antibiotics, so I called him late in the night crying about the pain. He didn't get mad at me but asked if there was a 24 hour pharmacy to which I could go to and get a prescription filled. Keeping in mind that this was close to mid night. He even told me if the pain was that unbearable that he would make a house call. Fast forward to two years later, and I have moved an hour+ away from this office location. But I take that drive every time because I know how amazing he is and I am not willing to give that up. Dr. Ibrahim and his staff are beyond AMAZING!!! He is a great example of the kind of dentist that we need in the world today. I dread the day that I get an health insurance plan that does not include him.

It saddens me to write this review due to my very short interaction with Dr. Erakat. I brought my…read more15-year-old daughter into Dr. Erakat's office to remove her wisdom teeth for a consultation. I did a lot of research on dental surgeons in NJ, and we were impressed with his reviews and expertise. Unfortunately, Dr. Erakat's lack of bedside manner and professionalism has deterred my daughter and me from moving forward with the surgery with his practice. Dr. Erakat walked into the room and immediately started to talk about my daughter's dental images. This was our first time at the office, we'd never met him before, and a preschooler would've known to walk in and at least say, "Hi, how are you? I'm Dr. Erakat" then lead into your spiel. So he came in and started talking at us, talking as if my daughter was an adult like I wasn't in the room, and he never checked to see if we had any knowledge about anesthesia or the procedure in general. After he finished talking at us, I looked at him and said, "Hello, nice to meet you," to give him a hint that he was shrewd and rude. Dr. Erakat spent maybe 5 minutes with us in total. He was very short, especially when I informed him that my daughter would be having a deviated septum surgery and asked him if there was a preference to have one of the surgeries before the other and the waiting period between surgeries. I've worked with and have seen an array of doctors, and unfortunately, Dr. Erakat was one of the rudest I've encountered. If the person going to perform surgery on my child can't give her the time and attention she deserves to make her feel comfortable, I don't want them anywhere near her. We will NOT return nor recommend this dental office. I don't know if Dr. Erakat is just really busy or if he didn't want to work with us. Either way, we will find a dentist that greets us, takes the time to explain the procedure, and someone who actually wants to work with us.

I really want to Thank The Staff cause they were REALLY supportive and friendly. After the procedure I realized I wasn't feeling good (didn't drink anything since the day before) cause I was badly dehydrated. They took me care of me and made sure I got enough water until I was good to go. The only bad thing I have was the doctor forgot to give me antibiotics, so a few days later I felt bad. Thankfully he called one in and a day later I was good to go.
