Back then, I was very satisfied with her service and the quality of the cleaning. After moving out of state, I couldn't continue, but now that I'm back in NJ I scheduled another cleaning with her. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. My appointment was rescheduled twice, which I didn't mind. I had already texted my insurance card well before the visit, so everything should have been set. However, when I arrived, I was told I needed to provide copies of my old X-rays from my previous dentist--who is out of state and two hours behind in time zone. This was impossible to arrange on short notice. The only alternative offered was to pay out of pocket for new X-rays. What's most frustrating is that they already had my insurance information, but no one took the time to verify coverage or let me know about this requirement ahead of time. Instead of getting the cleaning I had scheduled, I had to leave without treatment. Sadly, this is not the same patient-focused service I remembered years ago. As another reviewer mentioned, it feels like they are more interested in making money from unnecessary X-rays than in patient care. I will not be returning.

Absolutely the worst!!!!…read more If you get a referral for oral surgery in the Edison or Woodbridge area, do not go to Dr. Greenwald. Oral surgeons are responsible to place the implant in your jaw, but they don't put on the crown. I had an implant done by Dr. Greenwald, and it failed miserably. He implanted a type of screw that my dentist had great trouble working with. My dentist needed to special order tools to work with Greenwald's implant, and this ended up costing me more. Now, less than two years later, the implant has failed. Also, Greenwald doesn't accept insurance assignment, and insists you pay in full on credit card up front before he will even work on you. This ensures he gets paid up front, leaving you 100% pre-paid for his shoddy work. In my case, my insurance paid 50%, and although I had paid in full up front, when the insurance assigned the payment to Dr. Greenwald, he kept that money, too, and I had to go there in person and raise a stink to get my money back. He was more than willing to take the money I paid and the money the insurance paid for a procedure that ultimately failed. THIS PLACE IS CROOKED. Stay away!!!

I had a pathetic experience with the staff today. They were…read morerude, condescending and inconsiderate. This is not the way to treat patients who are in pain. I needed a procedure for a bump in my inner lip that had flared up over the last weeks. I first went to the urgent care a week ago to get it diagnosed. Since they didn't have the facilities they asked me to find an oral surgeon ASAP. Through a quick google search I found this place- from the get go these monsters have been outrageously rude! I rushed in last week in excruciating pain expecting them to remove the bump. But they heartlessly turned me away and rescheduled me for today. Today was no different- the front desk staff, docs and nurses were mean. They put me on local anesthesia to begin the procedure. Since it takes about 15 minutes for it to work, I almost dozed off in the chair. The doctor comes in and hurriedly pushes the chair down, which jolted me out of sleep! The scumbag of a doctor says, "you got to relax, I only adjusted the chair. Don't act let like you had a stroke!" In a normal situation I'd snap at this curt remark. At that moment I was speechless. The instructions I got from the nurses after the procedure was awfully bad. Go to this place if you're in dire need or find a better place. The staff here is trained only to be snappy and arrogant to say the least.

But Dr. Gordon without fail, each time he has done a fantastic job in managing that for me. He also does play-by-play while he works on your teeth.
