My primary concern revolves around the inadequate post-surgical care I received. Prior to my procedure, I was prescribed antibiotics and moderate pain medication but was given no instructions on when or how to use them post-surgery. By the time of the operation, I had unintentionally finished the medication, assuming it was part of preoperative preparation. Instead of addressing this confusion or prescribing additional pain relief, I was reprimanded for consuming the medication too soon, despite the absence of clear guidance. I needed a tooth pulled, as well as an implant, and the reviews of the doctor were stellar, so I called in and a polite representative answered my questions related to pricing and sedation options, and told me to call back if I decided to book a consultation. I did some research to confirm the pricing was reasonable - and it was - and I called back to make the appointment, but the representative I spoke with this time refused to make an appointment because I didnt have a referral from a dentist. I explained to her the situation, that I was a cash patient and could pay in advance for all work. She said the doctor only works on referrals - I asked her a few times why this was the case, and she didn't seem to know why, but nonetheless told me I had to go to a dentist first. I called a different oral surgeon and booked a consult/extraction for the very next day without a problem. Perhaps there is a coaching opportunity here - I realize the labor market is in flux and many of us are learning new jobs, but it seems like an oversight to turn down business like this. This is unfortunate, but maybe she really did want a referral from a dentist. I wouldn't trust a dentist with my particular situation and will not waste my time or money in visiting one when I am in pain and need the extraction done quickly. read more

Upon arriving to my appointment on Tuesday July 9th, 2019, at 3:30pm I was greeted with several upbeat personalities starting from the front desk with Steffy in which had called me an hour earlier in order to be seen thank you Steffy. Ms. Angie was also a sweetheart while coaching me with my procedure which meant a lot to me, Ms. Angie also called later during the night to make sure that I was recovering promptly, thank you Ms. Angie, and last but not least I can not forget about Dr. Perez, I do not know how you did it but you did and I appreciate your speedy process with me as I am recovering very well and have noticed quick results during the third day, I would recommend you along with your staff to anyone immediately for services Great Job! I was trying to prolong my extractions of my troublesome wisdom teeth. However after a education session with Dr Tania, i felt comfortable with the decision I made to extract all for of my problems (wisdom Teeth) lol I don't need them anyway. Upon Arrival for my procedure, I was greeted with a smile and excellent customer service at check in. I waited approximately 15 minutes for the crew to get ready. I counted because I was nervous. Once I reached the back I was made comfortable by the friendly staff, and even had an Extraction education session, the process took all of 30 mins, I didn't feel a thing... The best part they created me a care package, with all the necessities to care for my extractions which came with easy instructions. And my reason is due to them telling me that I can't ever schedule with them ever again due to 3 cancellations. Not once was it ever a "No show". My reason was childcare for my two boys. So that I could attend my dental appointment. The second time was due to no transportation and third because I had reached out to my Medicaid provider in regards to a notice that I had received prior to my appointment dealing with another health issue and my insurance was being questioned, I was also informed that I was not able to receive dental work from a previous provider in which a root canal was and still is needed. So I had called before my appointment and canceled, again not a no show. I was then told by a employee at Oral surgery off Good hope rd. I Can no longer schedule a appointment with them. They would not perform my procedure that is needed and it sucks cause I have mouth pain everyday, a hard time eating, swollen face, earaches and I have mental disabilities and i battle with that everyday. I wanted well needed to be seen at the oral surgery center due to me being approved for sedation cause I have to have 11 tooth extractions. And it's near my house my van is not working at the moment. To be honest this is not the first dental provider to tell me that I can no longer receive treatment due to what is being taken place now the pandemic the BIGGEST ISSUE IS ME HAVING TO BRING MY TWO KIDS WITH ME WHO ARE AGES TEN AND FOUR THE YOUNGEST IS AUTISTIC WITH SPECIAL SENSORY NEEDS AND NON VERBAL. It hurts that I get treated like this cause all I know to do is fight everyday for my sanity and to be organized to have my life in order when I am not able to achieve that that's a feeling I don't need at anytime I apologize for any inconvenience that I have caused any provider but I feel as if they don't understand and that is that I am trying to be healthy and around for my kids I have no help no childcare no siblings mom and dad who can assist it's just me so I have had to cancel my childrens appointments as well cause one may need surgery but due to me being a single parent I am told his sibling can't attend appointment and that my eldest son who needs the procedure done is going to need all my attention and assistance and that I can not proceed with appointment until someone assist me or I have childcare for my youngest son. So that's when CPS step in and come to me as if I am indecent parent a bad caretaker and provider and it doesn't look good due to that I was threatened to have both of my kids taken from me last June 8,2021 if they don't attend the dental appointment. They did. But I swear I can't win from the oral surgery center to carry another individual as such it's makes me more than sad I am not able to eat you can see this big hole with my nerve exposed it's visible and to have a swollen face every now then it kills me. So I have neuropathy, PTSD, Bipolar, Schizo and eleven teeth to be removed and I have no where to go it sucks. Shit happens that are out of my control I manifest positive comings and try to let go of any Ill feeling especially involving anger. So if you don't have childcare, reliable transportation and something out of your control tends to happen at the strangest inconvenience time in your life do not schedule here three strikes you're out. read more

This establishment needs to work on their time management. My appointment was scheduled for 2:30pm . I didn't get called back until 3:45 after arriving. I wanted in a room for almost 20 more minutes. I'm really pissed, they clearly aren't worried about others time but their own. I will never recommend anyone here . read more
