They even have netflix for you to watch while they work on your mouth! They even called me to come in a few weeks earlier earlier when they had a cancellation (my appointment was about 3 weeks out). The best part about this place though is they can print your crown right there the same day - it takes about 40 minutes. You don't have to wait several weeks for them to send it off to a facility to be made, and have it come back like most traditional dentists offices. I really like this place, all of the ladies that work there are really nice. I'm glad I finally found a good dentist in the SLC area. Pricing is pretty average too, and they accept a wide variety of insurance carriers. The one thing I didn't like is that they aren't super flexible on billing for more expensive services (ex. crowns) and for that reason I removed a star, although I understand why they do this - afterall, they are a business. They expect payment in full upon the completion of your appointment.

Bring that I'm a new patient and new to Utah that was refreshing. I appreciated that during my kids apt they made sure to get my approval for things that not all insurance approve of. Then when I arrived, they asked for the cards again and told me they couldn't find me in the system--not even for Medicare, and I'm 71! Finally, after 1/2 hr. they found my records. The xrays, exam and cleaning all went OK. But they said they needed prior authorization to carry out a crown and a filling and said it would take 3-4 weeks. After 8 weeks I called and they still didn't have an answer. Upon checking with Medicaid, they said they were told they didn't file the request properly and had to start the process over. I waited another 8 weeks and called again but they still hadn't heard from Medicaid. So, I called Medicaid myself and was told that they had no record of any authorization requests from Complete Smiles.They also said that they were only a few days behind in reviewing authorization requests--NOT 3-4 or 4-6 weeks or longer. When I told the dentist's office about this, they admitted that they've been having serious issue with their clearing house which was hacked and weren't even getting paid for their services. Bad things happen, but this office was very remiss in not following up more closely and notifying me why things were taking so long. In the meantime, 4 mos. later, I finally went to another dentist and found out that my need for a crown has escalated into a root canal. And 3 more small cavities were not detected by the dentist at Complete Smiles.

There are multiple play rooms and a movie room and it all looked like a giant tree house! My boys were sad that we were called back so quickly. (I loved the promptness ) Once in the chair my 6 year old got to play a Nintendo switch while his teeth were cleaned. I even heard, "I love the dentist Mom" which were unheard of words prior to switching to Treehouse. The office staff is kind, answers all questions and very helpful. My son ended up needing cavities filled and we were able to get him right in to do this. I highly recommend treehouse!

We moved to the area and we needed to find a new dentist. I couldn't be any happier!!! Always makes me feel comfortable and super understanding of my dental fears. Our kids are older but if you have kids, this is the perfect place to bring them. Our family has been seeing Dr Chandler for the last couple of years and couldn't be happier. It's a small, unpretentious office with friendly staff. They happily book my whole family of 7 for a single appointment, which I love. Dr Chandler's a cool guy who never makes you feel like an idiot for having a couple of cavities, and his staff is great with my kids. They love going to the dentist now, which is funny, but awesome!

He replaced 9 cavities and did not grind them enough so food non stop gets stuck, recently one of the fillings has fallen out so our current dentist recommended we reach out the Dr Chandler for help so I did to see if they would fix it and guarantee his work... The receptionist said she would talk to him however dentist/insurance recommends fillings be replaced every 18 months - 2 years (ridiculous, nobody does that) fillings should last 12+ years if done right... Dr Chandler did call me but said we would still have to pay and he wouldn't guarantee it.. So all in all we now have to pay our current dentist to fix his work that was not done properly!

My gums are troublesome and he is genuinely concerned about getting them fixed. I also like the reception staff and that they are fine with texting me. The only things I find more frightening and detestable than a trip to the dentist are large spiders and man-eating sharks. Consequently, I have a history of forgoing my dental cleanings. However, a good friend of mine recently recommended Dr. Cho and I am ecstatic that he did. I had a great experience with Dr. Cho and his staff which has instilled a fresh, new perspective. I was forced to schedule a dental appointment due to a painful cavity which was well on its way into turning into an abscessed tooth. I was able to schedule an emergency appointment with Dr. Cho, they were very accommodating in this regard. His assistant and office manager Daphne were extremely helpful in bumping my appointment forward due to the discomfort and pain I was experiencing. Luckily, the cavity wasn't deep and the tooth only needed a filling - no root canal or extraction (Thank Goodness) Dr. Cho's Novocain injections were PAINLESS. I had no idea he had even injected me until after the fact - a true sign of a skillful dentist. Once my mouth was numbed he was able to get in there and clean out the tooth and complete the filling quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed at the lack of pain. The office is clean, tastefully decorated (with a more modern flavor), and well-lit with a ton of natural light through huge bay windows which fill an entire wall. The staff is wonderful and friendly. Dr. Cho and his staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. Upon arrival I was offered tea or coffee - and I was delighted when I was brought out a mug of steaming green tea with sweetener. Overall an impeccable experience and I have promised myself to actually adhere to my 6 month cleanings and preventive care. I believe it should be much easier now that I have discovered Dr. Cho.

It was incredibly frustrating. This office took me seriously right away. They listened to my concerns, identified the issue, and fixed it quickly. The relief was almost immediate, and I am finally starting to feel norma again after over a month of migraines. On top of that, everyone in the office was so nice and welcoming--it made the whole experience even better. I live in Downtown SLC so this drive is kind of out the way for me, BUT honestly I can say Dr. Powell was one of the best. Very professional, very efficient. Makes you feel comfy when your getting the procedure done. His dental assistants are also very nice as well.
