Optus and this store in particular have absolutely horrible service! I waited for a long time and no one even acknowledged me, said hi, or said I'll be right with you.
The rep that finally called me over (Paul) was extremely rude to me. He was discourteous, condescending, and a bully. He was disrespectful. I asked him why I couldn't activate my sim online, he interrupted me to get my ID from me. When he did it, he raised his hand signalling for me to stop talking. He constantly talked back, interrupted, was argumentative, and looked at me with a smug, condescending, smirk on his face. He snatched my phone from me a few times. When he activated it, I asked him about choosing a plan. He said he chose 1 for me. I told him he didnt ask me and I wanted the $30 epic plan. He replied smug like, "that's the one I chose for you". He presumed without asking me or giving me options first.
And of course optus doesn't give you the store numbers so that I could talk to his superior about it. And the customer service lines aren't too helpful with it either. The store has not got back to me regarding Paul's behavior.
If this is how Optus treats it's customers, go with another carrier. But what the store should do is at least get better reps than Paul. read more
