I have known her for 15 years, as she used to work for my chiropractor. She is extremely knowledgeable and helped me find the best VSP plan to keep my costs down! I like the fact that I have a 1 year warranty on both frames and lenses in case they break. I have had to use that warranty a couple of times, which has saved me a lot of money in the end. Kayla helped me with picking out frames, which turned out to be a big job, since I am extremely picky. She worked with Mindy the office manager. My appt was in September here I am getting billed again for the third time for same appointment weeks later (it's Oct 8). I have two different insurances I shouldn't have to pay anything for a SIMPLE eye exam. It's ridiculous. I call to complain cause why would they keep doing this promise me a call back within an hour. Nothing. So just to clarify I had an eye exam appointment in September. They told me at the appointment that my insurance will cover the eye exam. There is no co-pay there is no fee. I'm like perfect as to be expected when I have two different eye insurances, right. Wrong. lol They have now billed me again weeks later after they called me and demanded over $100 extra the day after my appointment because they messed up somewhere. I can't get an explanation for this of course because the staff there are incompetent when it comes to insurance and billing. Clearly. Manager can't be bothered to take my call. Won't be going back. Also getting into this parking lot and parking is a nightmare if you have a truck.

I looked at doing LASIK a few years ago and I went in to get Dr. Wells to check out my eyes, go over the information and her advice . She took the time to discuss all the pros and cons. I decided to do the LASIK with her support. If you think about it, it would've made more business sense for her to say no to LASIK so I would keep buying glasses for their bottom line. Her concern was on my health not their profit. They have a good selection of frames and the sales associates are very kind providing their feedback on how they look and the pros and cons of each type. Very nice to my kids and patient! Again focused on the customer and not putting a customer in the most expensive frames.

She examined they and advised they did not have the Oakley silicone pads but she could offer others that would work well till I got new ones from Oakley. I agreed and she proceeded to replace both pads good fit and then cleaned my glasses and handed them to me and said you're all set I ask how much and she said it was free. No charge? She said just where a smile today. Being from out of town she knew I would not be back for return purchases but did it all the same. Great job! I misplaced my glasses and needed a quick…read moreturnaround before a trip this Thursday, so I called around to different places around the city but this was the only location that had a same-day appointment available with the likelihood of getting glasses before I left for my trip. From the very beginning, no one mentioned that the doctor was actually a telehealth doctor. Had they been upfront about that, I would have just kept my appointment for tomorrow with a competitor to see an in-person doctor. To make matters worse, the wait times and tech issues were awful. I arrived at 2:15 PM for my appointment but wasn't taken back for prescreening until well after 2:30 PM. I then sat in the exam room for over an hour. Different staff members kept popping in and out to check the computer due to unexplained tech issues. I didn't actually see the virtual doctor, Dr. Rachel Hammoudeh, until 3:59 PM, and the appointment was rushed through, finishing by 4:05 PM. The actual exam was a mess. There was a terrible lag during the "1 or 2" comparison part, which made it incredibly difficult to confirm what I was looking at. I literally had to advocate for myself just to make sure we were confirming what I was actually seeing. On top of that, Dr. Hammoudeh couldn't have been less personable had she tried. The only reason this isn't a 0-star review is the in-store staff. A huge shout-out to Yari, Eric (a manager from a different location who was helping out), and the two girls running the pre-testing. All of them were super kind, and it was incredibly clear that they felt badly about the situation but their hands were tied by corporate's system and tech issues. They deserve recognition, but the overall lack of transparency and the subpar virtual exam mean I will definitely not be back.

So I called today and received the worst customer service. My sunglasses have been there since the 6th and no one called, emailed or text. The young man on the phone was clueless. He couldn't figure out why I hadn't been contacted so he put me on hold! Finally, he comes back on and says oh, your other glasses had to be remade! The order was sent in August 5th! I asked why they had to be "remade", he responds "don't know, maybe something at the lab". I asked to speak to a supervisor - he replies, I am one! Your glasses should be ready by August 17! 3 weeks!! I told him that was unacceptable! Then said, ok, thanks for calling. What??? I proceeded to tell him to call the lab and expedite my glasses because I'm wearing 3 year old glasses! He says he didn't think he could do that! My reply - oh yes you can and I need a call back today! He called and left a message. I called back immediately and he was at lunch! No call back and it's 8:00pm! I will take my business elsewhere!
