The amenities here are beyond incredible. My favorites are the cryotherapy chamber, the massage chair, the cold plunge, and the immersive sound/vibration experience. I swear the massage chair is better than a human massage. The location is super clean and it's so cute and peaceful inside. I would caution anyone from utilizing their services. They were dishonest at a large event and I can only assume scammed many customers that day. They told us their first visit was $69 but they'd lower it to $20 at the event. On the same day their website offered free first visits, that they failed to mention. When I contacted them for a refund they refused. I further informed them I learned I could not utilize their services due to a chronic health condition and they again refused. I feel this facility has the most versatile services compared to others I have researched in arizona. Highly recommended if you are in the Gainey / McCormick Ranch area of Scottsdale. This business offers a combination of IV treatments, contrast therapies, and modern biohacking technology for all of your restoration and rejuvination needs. I was gifted a free week pass by Adam, the Owner. He is also the creator of Arctic Cold Tubs and has a couple of the commercial units on site. That's what my interest was in going there. I'm also a big fan of sauna. Modern offers both types of sauna; the traditional radiant heat dry sauna that gets up close to 200 degrees and also an infrared sauna. There is also an electronically cooled Cryo chamber which gets down to -175 degrees! They have enveloping massage chairs, a massage bed synched to music with headphones, Normatec compression boots by Hyperice, Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF), and two Red Light therapy rooms. The environment is great, it's an inviting and comfortable spa setting. But what I think is best is that ALL services outside of IV are included in your membership price. No add-ons if you want to do Red Light or PEMF. IV packages are separate. It takes about an hour to make it through your routine and if you go multiple times a week you can rotate through the different services to get them all in. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Especially if you are new to cold therapy. The cold water is scary! They can help coach you through your session and you'll leave feeling amazing. read more

Of course exercise comes with the attendant recovery period and, momma, my dogs have been barking! So, when I found modern wellness by chance, I decided to give it a whirl. They offer massage chairs, hyperice compression therapy, cold plunge, infrared sauna, cryotherapy and a full body red light room (plus more I'm forgetting) for a neat little daily fee or monthly membership. You book an hour at a time and get free reign of the offerings. They're still in their soft opening, so the procedures may change. But it's fantastic, I'm hooked! It's a clean, calming, spa-like environment with friendly owners and limited time slots so you never have to wait to use equipment. I'm especially partial to the compression with a cold/hot contrast using the infrared sauna and cryo chamber (the ice baths are still too intense for me) I've gone 3 days in a row since they opened and I feel better already. My wife and I live in Oregon and spent six weeks as desert dwellers in Scottsdale from Memorial Day to the Fourth of July. When we arrived the heat as well as the aches and pains needed to be dealt with to survive. We had been to one place in the past and were disappointed. I found Modern Wellness & Drip and asked if we could come and check out the facilities. My wife and I went, and were greeted with a kind, friendly face that made us feel so welcomed. The place was clean and super comfortable, with all the modalities we would need. We used Modern Wellness every day and it was a lifesaver. The best part to me was the staff. Of course everything needs to be clean, set-up well and organized, but if you feel awkward or uncomfortable you're not going to enjoy yourself. Right from the start we felt like we belong.
