My husband made an offer on Sunday, October 4th through an online option. It was accepted same day through text by the internet sales manager. We have been looking for a used travel trailer for some time, and this camper seemed perfect because we thought it might be better to buy from a dealership than privately. We stopped for a cashiers check on Monday, October 5th, and made the 3 hour drive over. We even set up insurance, expecting to be towing our camper home. We checked in over 5 times today. Before we left, and on the way. We were promised it was in good shape, without leaks, and all appliances worked. We were told it would be hooked up and ready to be inspected, and instead were driven on a golf cart to the very back of the property to find flat tires and an incredibly damaged camper. We were very specific with our questions, and blatantly lied to. Even after calling 15 miles out, when we arrived they still scrambled and tried to figure out who we were and what we were there for. The camper bathroom was missing an entire skylight, was rusting and dirty all around so this was not new, and dirty water had pooled on the floor. There were dirty, rusty spots throughout. How does this happen? We were assured it was in good shape and would be ready to go, paperwork and all, so we came with a certified check in hand. There are photos online showing this camper to be in good condition. I would certainly not trust buying a used camper, as I would not trust what they will have fixed just to be able to sell it and then you end up getting stuck with the problems later. The manager finally came to speak with me, presented with a major attitude at first, asked me if I was recording the conversation, and threatened to leave if so. He repeatedly asked what result I was looking for, and how they could make it right. I told him that was for him determine, but he never came up with anything. After talking in circles, I left, and maybe shouldn't have, but warned everyone on the way out about their dishonesty. We were just looking for a worthy business transaction. We had the money and had handled everything on our end, including insurance renting a new storage space. We wasted the time we spent communicating and preparing, and the 7 hours round trip with our two young children just to return home empty handed. read more

Went to purchase a travel trailer. Asked to see used under $30k, was shown new in stock $39k and up. Decided to purchase a new travel trailer. Was told by finance when signing paperwork that paystubs were required for income verification. Once received Fifth Third Bank of BOA would be loan provider. Monday morning and afternoon I was still receiving credit inquiries from all three credit agencies. Called to question and was told that it was sent over to a different bank and just had to submit paystubs. When stated that this was not what was disgust the day prior, the finance personnel became very rude and condescending. Proceeded to explain that "usually when you buy a rv you have to run credit, that's how it works". Extremely unprofessional and the by the appearance of the facility and staff, I should have immediately left. read more

I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from this place! The ladies up front that greeted us, AMAZING and nice! The salesman who showed us around, AWESOME. We found a RV we wanted, $124,000 5th wheel. We went in and got the basics for a price, little higher than a lot of places but its local and the salesman was nice so I don't mind paying extra. Now, we told the salesman we wanted to sleep on it and make a decision in a day or two(we NEEDED A RV IMMEDIATELY) and we have cash to buy so really just wanted to make sure its what we both wanted as a family. We pretty much were 99% sure it was the one and would of purchased it the first of the week. NOW, before we left they brought the sales MANAGER over, pretty normal. This guy was a complete PILE OF TRASH, Right off the bat wouldn't shake my hand, he tried to sell me a cheaper model to close the sale, I explained I didn't want to be rushed. What went from being a great experience turned into the WORST human interaction I've had in probably 30 years. The manager guy zoned out, wouldn't look at us and his face was that of anger and disgust. I was letting him know I just wanted to sleep on the purchase and would let him know in a day...HE just got up in the middle of my sentence, didn't look at me and walked away without a single thank you, let us know, nothing! I even tried to shake his hand again and thank him and he just snubbed me and my wife like we weren't even there. This continued even outside as we were disgusted with his attitude and told our sales guy we wouldn't be back, thanked him for his time and unfortunately they have THE WRONG guy in that sakes manager position, he is absolutely garbage. I am white and he is black, this was the absolute worst racism I've ever seen and I have a blended family. Optimum RV really needs to address this, reviews do not lie. I would give Optimum RV in Ocala Florida a Zero if I could. RUN, RUN, RUN away. Once they sell you something they will not answer your calls. They will charge you extra fees just to get the motor home ready for delivery. They will also tell you lies to get you to buy all of the extended service contracts. They had over three weeks to get the motor home we purchased prepared and ready for delivery only to find out the day we were just supposed to pick it up we ended up spending the whole day there while they fixed things. We should have just not took delivery. Hind sight. I have a lot of other things as well as well as pictures. Still trying to get in touch with someone there. They will hang up, leave you on hold until you hang up or transfer you all around the place including other dealerships. Please do not purchase here. Seems they just buy and flip RV's without fixing issues but hiding them very well. read more

This place is terrible. We arrived for our appointment with Wayne on Saturday to see a 08 Nimbus. We were passed off to Christa who got suddenly ill and passed us on to Hilda. After 1 1/2 hours trying to show us other units the sale manager came out told us the unit "must be in the shop". Turns out Optimum wrecked it with major damage!! Stay away from this dealership. We purchased a 2022 travel trailer in November of 2022. When we arrived to pickup the trailer we noticed it was missing one of the stock wheels and the spare was mounted in its place. This is something I noticed, not them. With the spare mounted on the trailer there was no additional spare tire in case of a blowout or flat tire. I did not feel comfortable driving home without a spare tire but did not want to make the two hour journey back to the dealership at a later time. At first Optimum tried to deflect the issue saying that some travel trailers don't come with a spare tire or a variety of other excuses. After some extensive back and forth they admitted that they knew the wheel was missing and it was set to be mailed to my house. As I said I did not want to drive another two hours at a later date so I decided to take the trailer as is. Over the next 3 months I made several calls to Optimum to check on the status of my missing wheel, each time assured it was on its way. At one point I was given the tracking number, I believe in an effort to get me to stop calling. By the tracking number the item arrived at Ocala Optimum RV on January 24. About two weeks later I still hadn't received it so I called them again only to find out they still had it in their warehouse and would ship it out as soon as possible. No explanation for the delay or why it sat on their property for two weeks. Finally on March 1st the package arrived at my house. Just to be clear I was told they were sending me a whole wheel and tire as that is what I was missing. The package that arrived on March 1st was the wheel rim only. I again called Optimum. The individual I spoke to appeared confused by the entire affair and acted as though he would be able to fix it. He claimed he would have a tire shipped the next day (Monday) and call me with a tracking number. Guess what, no call from him on Monday. I called him on Tuesday and had to leave a message. Wednesday comes and still nothing from Optimum so I called again and of course the individual I needed to speak with was "out on the lot" and unavailable. So I went around and around with the poor fellow who did answer the phone. The only thing he could provide me with was a tracking number that indicated a "label was assigned" to the package but it had not yet shipped. I did file a complaint with the BBB but at this point I'm not sure what they can even do. I feel as though I am at the mercy of the sheer incompetence of this dealer. Anybody in the market for an RV should avoid this dealer at all costs. read more

Sales and service departments are an absolute mess. They don't call back when they take messages. I did buy a unit from them 2 years ago it's a good unit but you will pull your hair out to get service or to have someone call you back. I want to trade up and called 4 times and not one call back. The amount of unprofessionalism I have dealt with over the past 4 weeks from this company has been appalling. I have been put off and ignored multiple times, I've had to reschedule my walk thru 3 different times due the negligence of your employees, twice they canceled the day before when I had made prior arrangements with my employer to miss the day for this. While also planning a 6 hour drive to pick up. I was lied to and will not recommend this company to anyone. I would actually widely recommend no one use this company! The amount of employees who do not know what is going on or how to assist you was frustrating to say the least. I arrived at 9am for a scheduled walk through to sit there for several hours and find out the camper had not been detailed or walked through by their service center. I was also called after hours the night before my walk through saying it would be pushed off 2 days. I was not able to call back due to it being after hours it would send me straight to voicemail. Mr Wayne Nielson who I had talked to 6 or so months ago called me and said that there owner loved classic cars and would be interested in trading for a diesel pusher. He wanted me to come up there and look at a couple of units that they have. So we made an appointment and My wife and I drove 2 1/2 hours to Ocala to discuss the deal. The units we were showed were junky. The stairs did not slide out and the salesman expected my wife and i to climb into the rv to look at it. Not Professioal at all. We were Not shown the one they had sent us pictures of. Then they show us a nice one but did not offer to start it. Once back in the office the Sales person took the pictures of our car and left the room. when he came back he showed us numbers on a paper. No personality at all. Of course Mr Wayne was sick and not there. I told him I did not understand his numbers. 30 xxx number or 40 xxx numbers. Is the owner willing to trade. just a shrug of the shoulders. What a waste of our time and gas. Stay away from these people, they are crooks. Snake oil salesmen. Not worth your time. As we were leaving I heard other customers complaining as well. My wife and I were looking for a used motorhome. We spent over six hours at the Ocala dealership. The motorhome that we were prepared to purchase had been sold so we looked at several other models, one of which we thought would work for our needs. Not only was it a more expensive unit, but we had also previously decided to use our personal bank for financing; however, we were told that a soft inquiry could be made for credit worthiness through the dealer's financing department that would not result in a hard inquiry. Not 4 hours later, we both received hard inquiry alerts. This now will make financing through our own bank a bit more difficult. Our salesman, Kenny, was wonderful and spent a lot of time going over what our needs are. However, when being assured that we would not be subjected to hard inquiry only to find out later that a hit was actually done is very upsetting. The salespeople are great. Financing leaves a lot to be desired and after requesting a phone call regarding the hard inquiry was met with a text message to which we requested a phone call which did not happen. I made the call myself to the manager and was offered a $500.00 parts credit. Very disappointed in the professionalism of the financial department and the manager. read more

Do not give them a dime until you take actual delivery of your rv!! Make everything is what you agreed upon and you have everything in writing! I gave them a substantial amount for a deposit in cash and wrote my receipt for check. We didn't do the deal and I am still waiting to receive my deposit back because the owner is in the Bahamas and he is the only one who can sign a check. No one will return my calls. I was supposed to get an email from Connor stating I was going to receive my deposit back along with the check request that he submitted to their accounting department. LOL LIARS LIARS LIARS BEWARE Day 3 of no email. Finally spoke with manager Peter. He informed me I will get my deposit but can't tell me when and that he will mail it to me. Checks in the mail. If there was a negative rating I would definitely choose that. By far the absolute worst company in existence. I wrecked my RV Fifth wheel, after insurance claim and all took it to Optimum in Ocala. 8 months later they notify my that it is complete, set up pick up date and before I could get there they Optimum wrecked my RV in their yard. Another month added to the repair and not to mention the absolute worst management from GM down. Email after Email requesting damage pictures and estimated time for completion. These people do not even have the decency to respond. Absolute terrible company. So now we are into one year on their lot. They say it is ready for pickup. I arrive and begin looking over the repairs and numerous items from the original repair were not even complete. A new roof was installed obviously by someone that had never done this type of work. Multiple items on the insurance claim were not completed. They broke my kitchen ceiling fan and left it hanging out of the ceiling, They broke the skylight in the bathroom and left it that way. They tore a huge hole in the linoleum in the kitchen and did not repair. The trailer was an absolute disaster from sitting on the lot and the substandard work done. Was supposed to be detailed and was never touched. So bottom line after one year I now have to wait for repairs again. People if you go to this place, which I would strongly advise not to, get everything in writing and they will even try to dispute that MANAGEMENT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I have over 20 pages of emails trying to communicate with these idiots. Denver, I am relating my recent attempt to purchase a used Rv from your Ocala location and the unsavory way they conduct business. I am expecting reimbursement from you for the expense incurred, and here is why: I live in Gulf Breeze Florida and spoke with the sales rep in Ocala about purchasing the 2009 Coachman RV freedom express. We agreed on pricing and I told him on Saturday 7-17-2021 I would be in his office Monday 7-19-2021 to take possession. He asked for a thousand dollar deposit and I agreed and gave credit card info. As we expected to drive the unit back from Ocala to Gulf Breeze, we rented a car to be dropped off in Ocala. My wife is 84 years old and is confined to a wheelchair or walker and cannot ride for long distances, which is why I wanted that particular RV. I spoke with the sales rep Sunday as we were traveling and was told everything was set. I spoke with him later Sunday and was told to not get in his office too early Monday morning as he had to bring the rv up fro Bushnell. Monday morning a little after 9:00 he called and I was told it was all set and to come on in. After getting into his office, I was then told the unit was sold to someone else, but they had another unit similar. It was similar but was also approx $15,000.00 higher. They knew Saturday the RV I had placed a deposit on was sold but let me drive the approx 400 miles intending to switch me to a higher priced unit. This is the charges I incurred: Avis rental car              748.64 Motels                         396.60 All that was bad enough, but to make it even worse, the Bushnell location contacted me Wednesday 7-21-2021 after I had arrived back home, and told me the RV was still available if I could get back down there before the people who had made a deposit on it did. Optimum RV had an RV on their website, RV trader and other websites so we drove to go look at it - the sales man said Yeap we have it - then drove us ALLLLLL Over their lot to find it - then said let me go ask where it is - we waited and he came back and said "oh it was already sold but please wait so the Manager can say goodbye " we waited and then when we had enough waiting (purely because we were being nice and polite" the manager opened the door for us to leave and said oh yeah that RV just sold yesterday! Well I told him his company was doing their job and having it still advertised everywhere from their website to all others was false advertising and someone needed to take it down - FYI that was 5 days ago and the RV is still showing available on all those websites - don't let them do the whole bait and switch to you - they want your information when you walk in - you don't have to give it to them (we didn't) and I will never buy anything from them - Customer service is paramount and they are not about it at all! read more

Sales was good, finance department good. Service department F..tards. Took 2 months after purchase to get my RV. After 6 weeks they got a new service manager Rich who was excellent. They had done nothing on my RV. He got it going. Called me back every time I called same day with updates. Only employee that knew how to treat customers. It's been 5 months now still waiting on a leveling Jack they said would be in last month. So I gave them time. I called and asked for Rich. He was no longer there. That explained all I needed to hear. This service department needs overhauled. Employees need to communicate with customers within hours of call. Not be out showing RV when they are in the service department. Spread too thin. No customer service. No follow through. Failed service department. Pathetic dealership. This all falls from a poor general manager that thinks calling meetings solves his issues. Get off your ass and engage with each department don't take them away so they can hear your fat ass mouth talk. You are not a manager!!! You are a F tard too because you need to engage and talk less. Your salesperson was excellent. Finance department excellent but you can't follow through then they work so hard up front to have what you built go down the drain. I called so much trying to get answers I concluded you GM are the main failure. I'm the one you offered a free camping trip because I drove up there 3 times to pick up my RV that I was told was ready but wasn't. I declined your offer. I waited this long to post because I wanted my anger to calm down so I could exactly pin point where your problems were. Perhaps the GM needs to retire and bring someone professional to run this organization cause you aren't. I'm moving my repair service to Bushnell where I have found a much more customer friendly service department and responsive one. I'm a retired legislator and law professor. Don't go there! Our salesperson, Will, was great. But that is where the good stuff ended. We were talked into buying the Gap insurance and warranty insurance, but changed our minds the next day and canceled it. We have been trying to get our $7,000 back since February 22. (Two months) We can't get anyone to return our calls. We have checked with the insurance company and they never got any money from Optimum for our policies, so Optimum still has our money! They don't even have the decency to return our calls and say they are checking on it. NOTHING. We have filed a claim with BBB and still nothing. I had a bad experience with this dealership years ago. The only reason why I went back was because they had a fifth wheel toy hauler that I wanted. They would not return my phone call to let me know that someone possibly was going to get it until the person could not get a loan. Then they weren't getting back to me when I would call. I went to Optimum RV because it was "family owned and operated" in Ocala. I wasn't ready to buy and had just moved to S.C. when I found the RV was in Spartanburg. They sold me an Imagine. I did not know and they did not foreclose this information, that they picked it up at an Auction. I paid top dollar. Over what I should have. Several times, I set up for a walk thru and finally my walk thru went as planned for a total of 5 min and the man stated, "he had never done this before and did not even know how to operate the radio." I did not know it was broken. They ADMITTED they never check it out. I had a witness with me at every moment. The fresh water tank lever and the entire bottom of the RV was broken. The window was malfunctioned and the RV flooded and my things were ruined. The toilet was broken. The under carriage was soaked, continuously dripping and had a foul odor at all times. 2 months later, after 20 calls, they finally sent a "specialist" their best service man. After a week, I called to find out what was going on. I had to always wash the dishes in the shower. He said the bottom had to be pulled out and he didn't know what was wrong and they had to come and get it. I lived in this RV, I am a nurse, I have 2 dogs that live with me and all my papers, clothes, etc was in there. I was upset and Ocala and they told me to pick out another RV. So after living like a pig for almost 3 months, I thought there was an answer. I picked something out, they said they lowered the months payments after all I just wasted 3 months of payments on a piece of crap that should never have been sold to anyone. They had me sign a purchase contract and said the rate was 11.79% and it would not go up anymore. They told me to give them more money. Now they have my savings. They said it would be delivered by 3pm. I left at 12 noon. They had to haul off the broken RV. So all my things went outside and me, my dogs, my friend waited. At 3p I called. No one there. I waited and called Ocala. They put me on hold and said the manager would call me in 30 min. At 6p, I called Ocala again. They asked if they called me and I told him, No, just a service girl. Then at 6:30p they said they weren't coming. The RV mover told me later, they sent him home at 12:30p.m. and just for fun, they didn't call me and was trying to wait til 7p, when they all go home. I was out in the country and some of my stuff was destroyed by bears rummaging through it, pictures, mirrors broken. They finally delivered the RV at 2am. I stayed sick for 3 days and did not work. Ed, Gabriel and Presley have been a nitemare. Now, they backtracked and said the deal didn't go through. They said I need to come and resign the papers. They said they would email them, 3 days later I got them. They want 17.95%. I told them they need to find another financial institute with original rate, they did not. Gabriel called me up, screaming in the phone saying he was bringing the broken RV back to me and getting the RV I am living in. And, hung up. Wow, managers who have studied how to handle situations with integrity. Then they had Presley call me and say, "Since i did not want to pay for it, They were picking up the RV tomorrow morning. Saturday. Down and dirty. They wait for a Saturday when I cannot reach the right people and want to dump my things out in Bear country and leave me and my dogs outside. FIRST, they have all my money, so I DO and HAVE been paying for it. I want the original finance charge of 11.79% that we agreed to one month ago. They, lie. Now I believe the CEO, David Beck, does not know about this. If they sent me the papers again with 11.79%, I would sign them, in a heart beat. So I either take the unagreed rate of 17.95% or I will have nothing. I think they call it BLACKMAIL. I HAVE A WITNESS THROUGHOUT ALL OF THIS. I FIND THEM PATHETIC. They have poor, horrible work ethics. They should not have jobs to steal, threaten, scream and stab people in the back by taking your money, giving you broken merchandise, going back on their word, then threatening you, blackmailing you and for 4 months making my life the worst nitemare that I have ever had. This is the most horrible thing for anyone to go through. But, it will probably take a court of law. I will sign again, but they need to be fair. I have an autoimmune disorder from getting Covid from a patient . I again broke out with blisters all over my body and missed another day at work. Because they told me one thing, then another, then another, and it has been lies. But, I do have a solid witness. And actually, more than one. My neighbors saw my stuff destroyed, my friend heard them say it would not go over 11.79% and say it would be there by 3p. She heard the manager scream at me and threaten me. Optimum RV in Ocala is quick to make a sale but from there on it is downhill. Our 1st trip there we were greeted by sales manager Pete who then turned us to a salesman. Was helpful showing us around until we said we were not buying today. Then he disappeared. Should have been our 1st clue to go elsewhere. Upon returning a week later we had another salesperson who was nice enough and somewhat helpful. Bought our RV, did paperwork and upon delivery they were to have new seat covers on seats. We called ahead of time to find out if everything was ready. They said yes but seat covers are not in, will not be in for a couple of weeks. Had we not called we would not have known this until we got there. We live near Tampa it is an hour and a half drive barring no traffic. The walk through is a joke. Then as we were pulling out the back up camera/ radio did not work. They ended up taking radio out and said they would order a new one. They said they could send to Z'hills location along with the seat covers, which was much closer. Long story short, seat covers sent to us and we had to put on. Not as easy as they kept saying. Radio sent to Zhills but come to find out it wasn't the radio that was bad, it was the electric harness which apparently they never checked up in Ocala. Cat and her crew were excellent at Z'hills!! Optimum RV Ocala never returns phone calls, they do not even return calls to their other RV store in Z'hills. We would not buy from them again. They want the sale but have no customer service ethics. Would recommend going to Optimum RV in Zephyrhills tho. read more

Found a RV that we liked, ask for more info. They took a week to get back to say it was sold. They asked us to look again at the inventory. We did, so found another RV we liked. Gave an offer. They said yes to the offer. Then started the financing. AFTER they ran our credit they said that they did not mean they could sale us the fifth wheel for the amount already stated. They ask for us to pay more for the one we selected or get a lesser unit. read more

We bought a RV here and between the time we looked and decided to buy it, someone had hit it . When I noticed it they argued about it took me saying fix it or no deal. They finally said they would fix it. It took over a mo. to fix it every time we asked what was going on we got a different story and never got to speak to the same person.When it was finally done we were handed keys and never shown what went where or anything, after getting home we discovered no key to unlock the door. After 60.00 to a lock smith we got in. They said they would reimburse us for it. I've tried calling since November and nobody knows anything. Still waiting for a call back. My experience with optimum rv all round was poor at best. I live in West Virginia and saw they had a 2014 Bounder 36 E on their lot for 74000.00. At the time it was the only model up for sale. So first and foremost do not believe their add about no added costs immediately they tacked on 2000 dollars. Prep was 1000 and then a other for 1000. They never did say what the other was for. So expect it on any coach you buy. I then flew to ocala fl and spent the night. They had over a week to prep the coach. So I showed up on the day and time agreed. They had me wait a bit and then took me to see my coach. However it was NOT my coach. It was a mini whiney class c not my class a. There was a mixup in names. I then proceeded to wait in their waiting room for another 9 hours. So at this point I was ready to call it quits. They did buy me a hotel room and paid for my dinner. But I had to wait 3 weeks to be reimbursed. Next day I was picked up and brought back. This time they had the right coach. However they never told me that the shower door waS broken. They assured me that they would send me a new one. I repeatedly asked for it in writing which they refused. The salesman said for me to ho buy one and then send the bill to optimum. Like I have an extra grand just lying around. 600.00 just to get the door from fleetwood and 409 for install. 3 months later they will not return my email or calls. Big suprise. Over all worst experience buying a rv I have ever had. Also I know for a fact they paid no taxes on the sale of my vehicle to the state of Florida. read more

To bad there isn't a negative rating! Never again will I go here or suggest this place to anyone. We bought a trailer from them and they promised the moon and delivered nothing. Wen we went to pick it up nothing was done, wasn't even clean. The replaced the AC unit but not the control board. It didn't blow cold air. We were told to give it 24 hours and if still no cold air to call back and have them do a FREE service call to replace the control board. Sure that was there way to get us out of there and be done with us. Called them and they said we had to pay for the part and service call. We gave them a list of things to be fixed and told them that if they fixed these things we would pay full price cash. Went there twice to pick up the trailer (1.5 hours away) and it was not done. At one point they didn't even know where it was... When we finally got it we still waited for 4 hours for them to try and fix little things because they said they couldn't fix anything we asked for!! Worst customer service experience ever. Salesman Andy assured us that the RV we were going to drive 3+ hours to see was available. It wasn't and they said it was sold the day before (salesman was conveniently not there). We had spoken to him at 5pm and he assured us he would call to let us know if it closed before they closed at 6pm. He didn't call so we made the drive and it was the worst mess of campers we ever saw. I immediately had doubts if I wanted to purchase anything from there. Campers were crammed together and some had the front axle buried in mud. Whatever, we left and visited 2 other sales centers in Ocala, both with excellent customer service and honesty. I would highly recommend General RV. We didn't buy there only because they did not have exactoy what we wanted. We later drove to Camping World and had another great experience. We looked at a few that the salesman thought fit what we wanted and less than an hour later purchased the perfect luxurious rv. I give both General RV and Camping World 5 stars and a crashing meteor to Optimum RV. read more

If I could give this place -10 stars I would want to give -11. Buying the unit was average but let me tell you how not great the service center is!!! The are strait up a bunch of crack head liars that don't have a clue on customer service. Sold a camper with wrong awning and couldn't come up with a fix. Had to order parts 2 times had camper for a complete month when only about a 4 hr job and I come to pick it up for a trip we planned prior to repairs with the dead line and awning was still the same old parts and didn't work still. I will never step foot in this place again!!! I will gladly pay for warranty items to a good place of business!!! Don't even slow down and look it's not worth it!!!! Bad service!!! read more

I just would like to say that the owner of Optimum RV is good for his word. Their service department have some of the best people you could ask for. I purchased a Travel Trailer from them recently, and even though I had some quite serious issues, the owner made sure everything was taken care of and to my 100% satisfaction after I had to make him aware of it! In a very short time I might add he got things taken care of. But, I would not go through that nightmare again! Their sales staff are worse than Used Car Salesman! Be careful! read more

First of I must say the sales person is not to blame for this review. he was only doing what was told. I was told the unit was ready and I needed to put a deposit. I am 4 hours away, therefore I placed the deposit. I then was told the next day they could not hold the rv and had to drive immediately to purchase the unit. I got on a bus and rushed over to find the rv was without battery and unable to move. I was stuck in Ocala for 2 days with no way back. I was then told I could not examine the roof or determine if anything functioned since this unit was "safety unit" It was a liability for me to go on the roof. Driving home I noticed water pouring through the roof during a rain shower. The manager Andre has assured me he would make repairs and reimburse me for the expenses of my trip. however that was over a month ago. I've contacted my attorney. I believe this company has been fraudulent. There are more details to this story you can't imagine. read more

Would be nice if I didn't have to give any stars to this dealership. Bought a used unit and our finance man said it's "as is". We don't want you to think we are going to be any help to you after this sale. Wow. We understand what "As is" means however they didn't fix what was on their "we owe" list. Also this was a delivered unit and no one secured the TV which fell off the wall damaging the wood cabinetry. Additionally there is no communication between parts, service, finance and sales and they freely admit this. Horrible!!! We paid cash so you would think that would be pretty easy. Nope nothing works smoothly here and nobody talk to someone from a different department. Our salesperson, a pleasant young man, tried to follow up with us while on site and even after the sale. However he was so green he had no idea how to deal with the items I mentioned above from we owe or damage. I don't suspect I'll ever hear from anyone. Go to any other dealer and you will find better service. We have been RVers for 30+ years and this was the worse dealership we have ever dealt with. read more

We followed up with multiple people from the Ocala optimum RV for a week, because no 1 person would follow up with us, for 1 specific toy hauler we had our eye on. Throughout the week we tried asking what we can do to go ahead and make sure that camper doesn't get sold and even put a deposit to hold it with the understanding that if it didn't work out than the deposit would be non refundable. They continued to inform us that wasn't something we could do but every day we confirmed with someone that it was still available. My husband called right before they closed at 6pm on Saturday to once again confirm that camper was available because we would be there first thing the following morning to see it and purchase it. Also was sure to inform them we had no interest in any others, that was the only one in the budget we wanted to spend, the only one with the floor plan and weight we wanted, and did not want to drive an hour and half away with our toddler to be jerked around. We arrived as soon as they opened Sunday morning, was driven out to the camper, and as soon as confirming it was the one, the lady we were with received a call from Will, one of the men who confirmed it was available for us, and he told her it was sold and to show us these other campers. That already pissed us off, but we went along with the game to look at 3 or 4 more campers that cost at least $10k more than the one we wanted, in way worse condition and not even close to the floor plan we wanted. One of which was only priced as low as it was, still at $26k, because the previous owner made modifications taking away the full size bed at the front of the camper. This company likes to pull the bait and switch and we will never do business with them! There are better RV dealerships in our own town with brand new campers of the same brands but better models for lower prices. Beware when going to Optimum RV! read more

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I found an RV online that was a great deal. I called and spoke to a sales representative and asked her if it was accurate and if there was anything wrong with it and if it looks like the pictures. She said it looks like the pictures and there is nothing wrong with it and it would be inspected before going out the door. I said I need to know for sure before we travel 5 hours to get it, and somethings wrong with it. She said no issues can't wait to see you guys. 5 hour drive and 100$ in fuel later and she isn't there. Some other guy tells us that camper is going to auction and is not safe to enter because the floor might collapse. They then said sorry you were misinformed bit We would be happy to get you into one of these other campers for way more money. That's it. They are crooked salesmen. She's new we're sorry was the excuse. Yeah ok. I wonder how many times they've pulled that stunt. I would pay more to get something g somewhere else than to ever use Optimum RV in Ocala FL. read more

Stay away at all costs, bought a new RV from them, service after the sale is a joke. They have had my RV for a month and nothing has been repaired, i call every day for an update and also send emails, all i get told is we are waiting on your extended warranty company to respond. I also speak to the warranty company every day for updates and they are still waiting for Optimum to send over the paperwork, 3 times so far Optimum has failed to send over the paperwork properly. They sell me a brand new RV with extended warranty and they cant even fix my RV after a month. They also told me that it would be best if I brought my RV to another service center.
