Tiffany, the case manager, is both very professional and also very caring and personal. She came the first day with the first caregiver to make sure we were all set. Their policies are generous and they are incredibly flexible and willing to pivot when needed. Our goal was to get my mom to independence. We had 2 very different caregivers and both were wonderful. She is getting eight hours of care a day, seven days per week! Every day is excellent. They are always on time. I mean always!! My sister is so happy when I call her. She receives three home cooked meals a day and she loves each meal, believe me. Home Care Assistance is so helpful with bathing, hygiene, safely walking in the home and meal preparation. They get her groceries and medications at the pharmacy too. I do not have to worry about my sister's care anymore. Mark provided personalized advice and even a message suggesting that my mom might not benefit from their services, but he'd be happy to assess (along with excellent technical detail). When he went to assess my mom (and provided the subsequent follow up), he was extremely patient and took my previous communications and the complexity of my mom's condition (cognitive) into consideration. His email summary of the visit was compassionate and addressed all of the limitations he'd observed as well as provided guidance on follow up and what would be best for her and our family. His communication brought peace of mind and he even offered to be there as an ear for future ideas. Eldervibe won't just take you for a ride and not provide benefit - they are in this to really help people get well and stay safe. Unfortunately, my mother became ill and was hospitalized after just one caregiver visit, but I continued to use their services while I cared for my mom when she was on Hospice Care. I was able to meet every caregiver and found them all to be very professional and pleasant, they helped me with whatever care I needed that day, even if it was just to keep an eye on my mom while she slept so that I could run errands or rest. None of the nurses were able to do a simple blood draw. Had to drag her back to an ER to get a blood test. Then they dissenrolled her on a Sunday afternoon with no communication to us, no authorization from anyone and then lied and made up several stories about why and what happened leaving us with no one to draw blood, check bed sores, monitor weight or listen to her lungs. Its hard enough to take care of older people at home but these people make it a nightmare. Horrible company they should be ashamed of themselves. Look at other reviews we are not the only ones they have just left high and dry.
