Sundance massage and sauna services have moved down the road. Closer to the health food store,…read morewhich works great for me. But the best thing. . . they now have a parking lot! No more driving around looking for on street parking. Yay! They have only been here a few weeks, so decor is still in the works. There look to be two sauna rooms and I think 3 massage rooms (maybe 4?) They share a vestibule with a law office, then have a separate entrance on the right. The outside, and inside entrances are well marked. GPS took me to the wrong location. Wanted me to drive thru a tree line between the neighboring building...just turn off Main St. into the Village on Vine parking lot. They are near the middle of the building. Same great service from their personable team of masseuses.

The massage was exactly what I needed to release the pain and pressure points. And the TMJ work really sealed the deal and made me so thankful for finding Heather! I hold a lot of tension in my mouth, grind my teeth in my sleep and my jaw clicks constantly depending on how stressed I am. Heather's skills helped melt all that away for weeks! I feel like my body was reset. She's so knowledgeable and understands how to explain exactly what is going on with your body through massage, your blood type, eating habits and lifestyle. I would WITHOUT question recommend Heather to anyone and everyone that wants to feel better on any level. Her experience, skills, knowledge speaks volumes through her energy and massage. I will be scheduling another 90 minute deep tissue and TMJ work every time I go to Newport! She has now become one of my staples during my trips here! I can't thank you enough Heather!

She is truly incomparable, and the only thing we can say to the negative is that all other massages we have once back home will pale miserably in comparison. I swear we would pay the $$ to fly or sail back up to Newport just to have another massage from Heather. Low-key and a solo venture, the "frills" are in Heather's adept hands, perfect pressure and methods to make sure your aching body's needs are attended to in a personal and professional manner. Look nowhere else when in Newport! Your only regret, if from out of town, will be that you can't take Heather with you.

The place is small and you are asked to take your shoes off upon entering, but that means you were right in the doorway while trying to get your shoes off and balance putting on slippers that they leave at the door. There's only two seats in the waiting area. There was no tea or anything else out like I have seen in other pictures but I was offered a water. Elana was my massage therapist and she was fantastic. A couple of issues was that the treatment rooms are extremely small is very little room to maneuver. Also, they must have had satellite radio on so the radio station kept going in and out which made for very awkward moments of complete silence in the room and during that time, you could hear other patrons talking, music from the Pilates, studio next-door, and traffic on the road. After about 10 minutes, she did ask if I wanted her to go get her phone so she could put on music in which I said yes-it was very hard to concentrate every time the music went off. I thought $140 for a 90 minute massage was an excellent price and she was great, but I'm not sure if I would return due to them having no amenities and the outside noise issues.
