I think the gym is owned by the owners of the apartments and residents might be able to get a discount. See my photos because there really is alot of equipment at this gym. Some of it is older equipment but more than enough to have a great workout. The normal guest fee is $10 day or $20 for the week but my son and I went for $5 each on a special. See my photo for the normal fees. They have a cardio area, machine area, and free weights area. Dumbbells go up to at least 100 lbs. It was not crowded while we were there on a Saturday. The worker was friendly and she said weekends are not busy but week day afternoons can be busy. They also have good water fountain, speed bag, pool, and hot tub. Sauna was under repair (March 2022) Definitely a good workout option in Safford area.

I've been seeing Joey for training for about a month now. I had a few friends that had been attending for months and had ranted and raved about the place. They invited me to check it out on numerous occasions but I opposed and made excuses: cost, no time, & I thought what I was doing (running, spin, combat classes, and soccer) was enough. Till the day came when I injured my knee. I couldn't run, I couldn't spin and I had to quit soccer. I was super sad, then lazy, and with a wedding around the corner with me as MoH I couldn't afford to sit around and do nothing. I even work at LA fitness and couldn't get motivated to do anything with fear of causing more damage to my knee. I had to do something. I met Joey and was instantly drawn in by his positive and motivating energy. One bad day later I called him up and made an appt to go in to burn off some bad energy. He worked with me and my bad knee. We talked about goals and such. He encouraged, and motivated me. I was hooked on O.P.T. We worked out a schedule and cost, smashing my excuses. That night after my first session with him, and his referral to a physical therapist, I signed up for the Pat Tillman run feeling confidant that with his help I could run pain free. Joey is so passionate about his work and his people. He puts a lot of time into his personal training sessions and is considerate of each persons need/wants/injuries. I love this place! I really can't see myself ever leaving. The people here feel like family. My O.P.T family. Let's gooooooo!!!

They're not rude, just concentrating, I guess. If you're not into crowds, TUE and THUR are the best days. And they don't close at lunchtime, so all day is available. This review is longgg overdue…read more I'm a snowbird in Tucson. And having trained with an excellent trainer in Seattle, I wanted to do something more challenging and *different*. Thanks to the great Yelp reviews I found Patricia. Patricia was offering the 12 week transformation, where you go from flab to fab, but that's not what interested me. It was her personal gym which is filled to the brim with excellent equipment for every body part (and some body parts you never knew existed - OUCH! ;) Patricia also had accompanying meal plans and supplements. Since I started with the supplements and meal plans, I've not had the excrutiating post-workout muscle pain that prevents me from getting off the floor after 12 hip thrusters (the pain is *real*, ladies!) Drinking a gallon of water a day also really helps. Thanks to Patricia's, egg whites, Isopure Whey Protein, supplements and are part of my forever meal plan, as boring as they sound. I've changed the macros of my diet, though if I really want to do the total body transformation like some of the awesome ladies whose pictures are posted on the "wall of fame" I have to reduce my fat intake to a level where I feel that life isn't worth living anymore. Like all programs, Patricia's transformation is what we make of it. In the meantime, I've stayed the same weight as when I started the program, but just the other day I deadlifted 150lbs! (Though with a hex bar.) At Lowe's, I loaded my cart with about 200lbs worth of edging stone, while another guy gaped at me. Yes, and that's the other thing - Patricia's gym is mainly female-centric, so that we ladies can feel safe and empowered to reach our utmost abilty. I really enjoyed my time training with Patricia and appreciated how accessible she was, even outside of our training sessions. And I'm looking forward to going back to Tucson and starting back up with her again.
