I made an appointment at Americas Best in Springfield, and this was the best experience I have ever. The store was clean, well kept, and everyone was super nice. Roberta and Tammy were so kind with helping me, and accommodated me with my wheelchair. The Optometrist was also great. He doubled checked my vision, and made sure my eye were healthy. He was very thorough, but also quick! There was a pair of glasses I wanted that I had bought years ago, and Roberta called a store in Arizona to get me the last pair in the country! She went above and beyond for me. Tammy could relate to what to what I was going through, and treated me like family. Thank you all for being so kind, and understanding my situation. It means so much to me.

Second Eyeglasses: Not the same prescription, I have problem wearing. Third Eyeglasses: I bought frames to put the the first eyeglass lenses in and whoever did the work put a screw in that was totally different in style and color from the other screws. It wouldn't tighten down. It was not stripped, it was the wrong size. I will never go back to America's Best.

They do not talk to each other. Then someone different picks up saying they don't know anything offer to put you on hold again for someone else. You get fed up waiting for basic answers.

Most of what they had were plain-Jane, dull gold or silver. VERY FEW (three pair) had any kind of embellishments or bling. They hade a wide selection of those cat-eye styles, which I really dislike & wont wear. I almost didn't buy my frames there and won't the next time. I will take my Rx and go elsewhere. Everyone was nice and friendly and the optometrist was great with both me and my 18 month old daughter. I have very, very poor eyesight and she was patient with me. I'm excited that I have contacts I can actually use on a daily basis for the first time in about 5 years. Im surprised by some of the reviews since I had specialty contacts that need to be made on-demand and the office kept in great communication with me by text, email and phone. When my glasses came in, they were not pleased with the craftsmanship of the thicker bifocal lenses and called me to ask permission to send them back to the manufacturer. I've received nothing but solid communication from this office and plan to continue to use them.
