What an adorable little bookstore! It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside! There's a basement and an upstairs little area as well! They have both used and new books at reasonable prices and so many cute little things here and there to browse. Would definitely come back again to browse their selection of books!

Our favorite bookstore in Seattle! This bookstore appears small from the outside, but you'll be surprised it has three levels! We found 2 of the cutest black cats downstairs, they LOVE the little toys and are so soft and playful. Here you will find a wonderful selection of books. If you're looking for cute little books and/or cute merchandise, you'll surely find them here!

Super cute store! Popped in while waiting on the bus. They have a decent selection relative to what I expected looking at the outside. There's a loft and a basement area and they maximize the space. Helpful and kind staff - I plan to come back some time to browse more thoroughly. Seemed reasonable in price for used and new options.

We were impressed with the variety and curation; often used bookstores have a lot of crippy crap but these shelves were filled with great options. The space was cozy and had three levels to peruse. Most of the used books we picked up were $8-12 for paperback and $12-20 for hardback. The shopkeeper was so kind and also gave us a tote for our purchases. Hopefully we can wander the aisles again soon.

First time going here and it was an awesome experience! The shop owner is so kind. It's a classic representation of what a book store should be, complete with the two cutest, fluffiest store kitties. They have a great variety of books and the general energy of the store is very happy, whimsical, and just a wonderful place to be in. I was also able to get a great photo of one of the cats and wanted to share it!

I was looking for a good used book store since moving to town and I loved it at Ophelia's Books! I thought it was very cozy, organized, and it contains a great selection of books with great prices! They have 3 floors of books which I was not expecting since it looks small from the outside. Employees are very helpful too if there's something specific you are looking for!

Used book selection 5/5 Atmosphere 5/5 Amazing used book store. Mostly sells used books but offers some new copies of books. Has a good variety of current best sellers and older used books.

I love stumbling into bookshops and this was a fun place to explore. Ophelia's Books is located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle. With three floors of books, one can find themselves spending a ton of time exploring here. Books are well organized and decently priced. Really loved the spiral staircase that leads to the basement. Cozy, independent bookshops like these will always hold a special place in my heart. 5/5.

My favorite book, The Catcher in the Rye, bought from Ophelia's Books.

This is my favorite bookstore in Washington. The woman who runs it is so friendly and kind! The shop itself is cozy and feels like a hidden gem. It's a hipster book-lover's dream. The prices are good, too. Highly recommend checking this place out.

My cousin and I were basically playing hide and seek because I couldn't find where she was. Lol. I had a hard time finding it, but once I finally did totally worth it! This cozy bookstore feels like stepping back in time. Shelves are stacked with a mix of used, vintage, and classic books, and honestly... they smell like it too. Lol. There's just something comforting about that old-book scent. You'll find everything from fiction and poetry to rare finds and children's titles tucked in the corners. It's small, quiet, and slightly perfectly imperfect in the best way because every shelf feels like a treasure hunt! The nostalgic vibe makes you want to linger a little longer. Priced fair, service is fast. If you love books with history and personality, this is a sweet little hidden gem worth discovering inside Pike Place. A nice escape from the Market's buzz just you, the books, and that unmistakable paper and ink smell.

I walked in and didn't expect much, but we were exploring the levels of Pike Place because I didn't realize they had levels upon my last visit. I was also looking for a biscuit spot that was across the street. So we went back and forth, floor by floor and found this gem where we stopped to peruse the books. My husband found some books and bought them. The person working there was nice and helpful. It was clear that he knew his inventory, as my husband asked about a book and he led him to it. The value was good as well. I know that we will definitely be back, next time, I hope to spend a bit more time there. This isn't the most organized place, but if you are willing to look through the books and are open to the surprise find that awaits you, then this is the spot for all of that!

I paid $27 more for the fantastic customer service that I received from the owner much more than the actual contents of the book that I purchased. Took me an hour to find Lion heart book store cause it's in one of the levels at Pike place and being such a small and crammed spot with many many stores was very hard to find. I totally will take the blame on my navigation skills but what was disappointing was calling multiple times and no one picked up my call - just for some tips or guidance. Next the owner wasn't in the store, there was this boy who no matter how well or how nicely I tried asking for tips on books or any details around books the only response I got was "unfortunately I don't have any info, you have to look up the books" gosh! That wasn't the help I was expecting and the boy refused to move from his spot or even try helping from the spot he was so comfortably perched on. No matter what, bad bad experience!
