As a long time regular, I can assure you the owner of the bar is on site every night (very easy to get ahold of), they don't serve food (no kitchen), none of their drinks are served with ice (literally, they don't have a freezer or ice machine), and they most definitely do not support ICE. If you know this place, you know that those one star reviews are blatantly inaccurate. Visit this bar if you want to step into a portal to a romantic, dimly lit British pub, where everyone is safe and supported. F*ck that bar in Yelm, sounds like they can kick rocks.

My husband found some books and bought them. The person working there was nice and helpful. It was clear that he knew his inventory, as my husband asked about a book and he led him to it. It can overwhelming but it was really nicely organized, I was looking for a specific book I just finished on my e-reader and wanted to get a trophy, I searched and couldn't find it so came up to a book buyer and they mentioned that didn't have any in stock. I stopped in during Independent Booksellers Day (4/25/26) and it was packed full of people. Warmly acknowledged upon entering and later when departing. I briefly browsed the shelves. There's a decent selection, as well as, other merch available for purchase. What really caught my attention were the high curved ceilings. It gave a bright, airy feeling despite feeling a bit cramped with the current capacity onsite. My previous indie booksellers in Pioneer Square were Elliott Bay Book Store (moved to Capitol Hill) and the treasure trove owned by the late David Ishii. It was good to be reacquainted again with Arundel Books, a mainstay in Seattle since 1995.
