This is a little surprise in Liberty Place, and offers a one stop place for any beauty treatment that you may be after, or need help convincing to try! There is nothing that they don't wax, treat, tan, polish, buff, massage, tidy up etc. I felt they have a substantial and good mix of treatments for the modern man. If you just want a facial, a shoulder wax, or want to go the whole hog and book yourself in for an 'Indulgence' experience, they've got it covered. Also note, that some of the package treatments are a good 3-4 hours, so be prepared to be well looked after for what you pay. I noticed they also use the Dermalogica brand, which is well trusted, and a market leader in the beauty industry. You wont be disappointed with this beauty haven. I now know where to go next time I have a hot date. Closed Monday's and Sunday's, open from 10am-9pm Tuesday-Thursday, and late on Fridays, closes at 5.30pm on Saturday's.

The seating area is well stocked with magazines and the beautician girls are always really friendly and chatty. Before you go in for your treatment, you'll notice a range of products for sale ranging from the Dermalogica skin range, including face wash and moisturising cream, to nail varnishes and jewellery. They have a sunbed available which is cheaper during the day time if you can get there. I know a few people that go here for spray tans as they use the celebrity tanning products which give a golden look. I however, go here to have bits waxed. The girls are very professional and always do it in the quickest, most painless way possible.. although it still hurts! They offer a great all in package called stripped bare which gets you in tip top shape and saves you a lot of money as it's only £45 for everything. Highly recommended.

I booked in here to have an underarm wax on a Saturday ahead of going to an event in town that…read moreevening. It was pretty busy in there and I got the impression that one of the therapists had called in poorly that day leaving a fully booked diary and not enough staff. I had to wait 15 minutes after my pre booked appointment time but the woman was clearly sorry for the delay so I didn't mind. The service itself was a lot quicker than normal; I thought that perhaps they were trying to catch up on the backlog of clients. Although I was only having a small treatment, it did feel very much like an 'in and out quick job' which left me feeling like I'd been in a whirlwind.

I would definitely recommend Beauty Perfection for fantastic face and body treatments and professional service. You can choose who your treatment is conducted by, so I always opt for the owner; Rekha. She has completely transformed by skin, which was blemished and spot prone. She suggested the high-frequency facial monthly. It's a little pricey but definitely worth it! They also offer laser hair removal, waxing, eyebrow threading (which is a little steep compared to other Asian salons at £4.50) and massages. The salon is well-maintained and has a chic-design. Staff are always professional and welcoming. Although they tend to get busy at the weekends and evenings, they're usually able to accommodate drop-ins during weekday afternoons.

My first ever trip to get my nails done and have a facial was with Agadir Spa. Despite it being…read morevery local to me, I hadn't even heard of this little Turkish/Moroccan Spa in the Big Peg complex. It wasn't until I was having a mooch on one of the various voucher sites that I spotted it and thought I would give it a go before I was due to go on a business trip. First off, they can be a bit of a nightmare to get hold of. I ended up emailing and calling several times before I was able to confirm my appointment, but no harm done; I got there eventually. I would recommend using the mobile number which is on their website if you are having problems using the landline. From the outside, it isn't anything special. Saying that, the Big Peg Complex isn't particularly posh - so this was totally fine. Inside is a little warren of different rooms for different treatment purposes. Once I had gotten in and been given a warm welcome, I was guided to their reception room. This was jauntily decorated in the Moroccan Style with colourful blankets, decorations and adornments and knick-knacks put carefully around the room. I was seen to within minutes of this and led to a second, bigger room for my manicure. The owner of Agadir was so friendly and chatty that we were laughing within minutes of me sitting down. My hands were washed, cuticles sculpted, fingers massaged and nails filed to perfection. I was a little disappointed as I assumed I would be getting polish (rather than a clear protector), but regardless of this my nails now look a lot better than before. The facial was really lovely! The products used are all natural and smell amazing. I laid down and let the therapist do her thing in scrubbing and massaging away the impurities in my skin. Once the mud mask was applied I was left a reasonable amount of time to let it dry and relax. I was given some gorgeous fragrant turkish tea and biscuits in between treatments too, which added to the relaxing atmosphere and pampering. As an extra, I ended up getting my eyebrows done too. This was done via a combination of threading, plucking and sculpting (and they now look great) for £6. I would give it 3.5 if I could (mainly due to not having nail varnish), but it's worth a visit just for the friendly staff, attentive service and delicious tea.

I had to wait an hour to be seen, I paid for 60 minute treatment and only received 35 minutes. The treatment was rushed, was harsh and unhygienic. I came out with spots and rashes as a result and ended up having to use a steroid cream and antihistamines for days after. The sponges and brushes etc are not sterilised. The place does not give a relaxing ambience at all. Shame really. The lady was not very talkative and I found her giving her male clients a lot more attention on the day. While I was left alone for long periods of time. I hated the experience and certainly will not be going again. I was very disappointed.
