First, let me say that I'm not a member of this bank. However, I receive a check once a month from…read morea company that does use this bank. I usually just deposit it into my bank account and that's that! For some reason I decided to just go cash it at F&M.... I walked in and the first thing that hit me was the smell of the building. Not a good smell either. I just chalked it up to being an older building. When I looked around I was impressed with the layout and look. I walked up to the counter and asked if I could cash it and she said yes. I signed the back, she asked for a thumb print, she took my ID and started writing all over the back and front... then she says..."it's going to be a $7 charge to cash it for a non members fee " seriously? First of all... could you not tell me this before you wrote all over it? Secondly, I cash my paycheck every 2 weeks at Bank of Stockton without a non members fee! I don't understand that at all. If the check is from your bank, and the money is in their account... why do you have to charge a person to cash it???? That's a big rip off if you ask me. So you all can just sit in your stinky bank looking board af because that's what you were doing when I walked in... absolutely nobody else in there and I'll go back to depositing it in my account for free. The crazy part that gets me is that the company I get that monthly check from has millions of dollars in that bank... you would think that if for no other reason... you would cash them for free as a convenience to your multimillion dollar customer!

Chase Bank - Makin' it RAIN!!

    Chase Bank

I am always waiting at this Chase bank. Always waiting. Always waiting. Always waiting…read more I could write a whole yelp review in the time that I am waiting. However, the location is convenient and that is probably why people flock here like pigeons. The tellers are for the most part nice, but they are a hit or miss. Not too many ratchet people here, but people don't seem to understand that the slips are supposed to be filled out BEFORE getting to the teller! Everyone is in such a rush to get in the ever growing line. I don't blame them, but I am still annoyed. It's a get in, do it quick, and get out kind of a place. I'd avoid this bank if it weren't so darn conveniently located.

i spend over $10000 a year on my chase prime card and despite that it has really crappy service. I…read morewanted to inquire about 2 suspicious subscription charges on my card, thinking it might be an odd business name for something I ordered. I called the number listed on the card thinking I would get better service. The first 2 automated calls just hung up on me without offering the opportunity to contact a customer service agent. I called the number on the website for disputing a charge. Initially I did not want to declare it a fraud because I knew they would cancel the card and send me another, which is a pain in the ass if you use the card to pay bills. That had happened to me 3 times already this year. After transferring me around and needing to enter the 16 digit number twice I finally got an agent who could tell me absolutely nothing about the merchant and proceeded to cancel the card and order a replacement. While on the phone I googled it and discovered it was apparently fraudulent and belonged to some Instagram account , which at age 78, I have never used and wouldn't know how to. So for the 4th time in a year I have had to obtain a new card . I am closing the Chase account because of their inability to effectively prevent this kind of elder abuse and their incredably poor service when it comes to dealing with these issues.
