Just completed auto refinance with Openroad. Application was easy. Did have to send documents a couple of times but that was on me they were a little blurry. Whole process was about 3 1/2 days. Lan did a good job and kept me updated thru out the whole process. Was able to add gap coverage to my vehicle and still pay less monthly. read more

I logged in with the code they gave me and I filled out the application and lowered my credit score by running a credit check for them to say my application was declined. Got an add on Credit Karma stating a loan that would reduce my auto loan by 11% from Openroad. Then once talking, no It would only be reduced by 7%. I do not get my bills, I have everything on autopay. They wanted proof of residency, my damn lease agreement was not adequate. Then one issue after another, after their outrages extra fees (please look at the docs close, they ended up throwing an extra like 700 on in fees to refi), then the kept insisting I get GAP insurance, I said NO. Then I am almost done (NOW this is only literally saving me 77.00 a month after all of the crap), then they just let me know that I will need to lower my insurance deductible. Therefore even more expense. I said "I am done with your circus, I should have said at the beginning, not my monkey, not my circus". PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. The fees, and little things and add ons etc. are not worth all of the endless NO's you have say and all the endless work they want you to do. Was pre-approved for refinancing. The agent suggested we use my wife as the main borrower, even though I'm the main borrower on our current loan. I'm a military 100% disabled veteran and my wife is my caregiver. They would not accept her proof of income and denied us based off this. Open road lending is a joke. My representative wasn't helpful at all. He asked for documents and then I sent them in and he told me it was the wrong ones. He wasn't specific at all and If he would've said exactly what he needed in the first place it would've saved us a lot of back-and-forth time. He just told me he would have to re-pull my credit because the application expired on July 23 and that was today August 11. I applied June 23! why are you just now telling me this three weeks later after it's expired and took over a month! I have also sent in documents and he said they're wrong or he never got them. So I had resent them "corrected" and somehow he still doesn't have it. And if they re- pull my credit again without my permission I will be even more livid. I received a refinance offer for my 2017 Porsche Macan from Openroad Lending, stating I was approved for a certain interest rate, much better than my current rate. I completed the application online - and I was denied - for no reason. And of course my credit score was effected by that application. Ever since then Openroad Lending keeps harassing me with emails and daily phone calls. They keep changing their numbers, so I can not block their calls. I tell them every day to stop calling me because after the initial denial I do not want to do business with them. They won't take "NO" for an answer and keep calling - every day. I found out about open-road lending from my Credit Karma app. I applied for refinancing on June 30th. By July 15th, my old finance company was paid off and I am now saving $77.26 per month and I saved a total of $3,399.99 off the total loan. This is Frustrating. I continuously get these notices of overpayment supposedly a final notice to open it and find out it's a place that want us to get a loan through them. It's misleading and deceiving I can't stand it. Because of this we will never ever ever use open road lending. An overpayment is a serious thing not something to get you to open a letter. If this was an honest letter not claiming an overpayment my husband and I might think about going through open road but even he agrees that this is misleading I don't appreciate it and neither does he. This is a scam. They sent me an unsolicited letter to refinance my loan and then, after wasting my time, I found out it was a scam.

"Very poor service " No turn around times as to when you get a final approval. They require $500 insurance deductible also ,that was never explain upfront!!. Plan for very long delay because NOBODY will you answers on how their process takes.
