This could have easily been a 5 star review. I needed help with some questions on an N-400 form…read morefor immigration and contacted Mr. Meza. The response was prompt. The price was very good. My "sin" was asking a question that Mr. Meza did not like. He wanted to charge me $400 an hour with a minimum of 1 hour. I didn't have a problem with that. I did not expect I would need an hour though, probably 30 minutes at most. I emailed him and asked if I only needed 30 minutes but paid for an hour, would he be willing to provide further consulting if I needed it (which I also indicated I didn't think I would need it) at a later time up to the one hour of his time which I was willing to pay for up front. Furthermore, I was interested in hiring Mr. Meza to represent my wife at a Naturalization hearing some 12 to 18 months from now, and again the price he quoted was good. So what's not to like? Mr. Meza responded to my email (again an almost immediate response like 10PM). It's a good sign when your attorney is responsive - until I read his response. His response was that he was sorry he won't be able to assist me and good luck finding an attorney. Instead of a polite but firm response of "I'm sorry, but the price is the price" or "additional consults would incur additional charges" or something diplomatic but firm and at the same time leaving the door open, he closed the door. I think this was incredibly short sighted. I would have accepted either of those responses and still wanted to work with him - but it is impossible now.

Mr. Meza helped us with a traffic violation and helped my wife get a reduced fine. It would have…read morebeen MUCH worse without his help. He definitely exceeded our expectations. I definitely recommend him. He was very professional, upfront and fair. Thank you!

They…read moreare run by passionate and intelligent people who truly make a difference in the lives of so many Dentonites! Please do your best to volunteer or help out their mission of feeding & taking care of the homeless in our area. Our Daily Bread provides two hot meals every day to anyone in need. You don't have to be homeless, just in need of a meal. They also provide a free 'market' where people get to take fruits, vegetables, bread, and other misc. items with them. They provide hair cuts, counseling, and warm clothes to the community. I personally feel that this blessing of an organization saves lives every single day. During the summer they have events and even help families out with back to school items. Most of their staff is volunteers and always in need of help. Volunteers do things like drive to pick up donations, cook food, serve food, clean, and take care of people who come in. On Monday nights kids can help out as long as an adult is with them. I have taken kids and it is always an experience that helps put things in perspective and realize how lucky I am. Please consider helping out Our Daily Bread by either volunteering or donating money. Everyone there is super nice and appreciative of you taking the time. Help make Denton a better place and help those in need find shelter and resources to continue on.
