I had a "big name" company come and quote me $10,000 for my main to be replaced, they had to come out twice as the first tech was not as experienced, 2nd team left and didn't put my clean out cap back on. Chris from A1 came out as expected, heard my experience and went to work, not only is the flow restored he gave tips on how to help me PREVENT them from coming back out. The knowingly SEVERED our line…read morewhile doing some work for our neighbor and when we called them, not aware yet, they had notes of this and still charged us for a scope then after many questions admitted that they cut our line, asked us to pay for the work as Maury doesn't want to "eat the price". We said hell no and when asked for a refund for the scoping since this wasn't our fault, he lied and threatened to charge us for the neighbors work and said we caused some of it. It was a break in a 90+ year old pipe which is at fault of no one. Said it's a small price we have to pay, never once did Maury apologize for the mistake, call us, explain anything or come to our door. We also are told that he had to have permission to cut a line and a permit. which he would not have gotten as our line would have been deemed in use. He was going to make us sit with human waste in our basement where my kids have rooms, for a week and turned his phone off when we called to see that we get moved up as NONE of this was our fault and we were left in the dark. His manger got us on the schedule a day earlier which is the only reason I'd give less than half a star if this website didn't make me. We have yet to hear from maury or anyone at the company with an apology or even one word. Never ever ever use this crooked man for your services! Here are some photos of what he left us with!

He brought the packing material, but as for the cleaning (done by a young relative, by the way) it was abominable. I don't think she was experienced at all. She carried a dusting cloth around to flick here and there and that was it. The bathtub had obvious spider webs and dead bugs untouched. This went on for about three days. The charge was an unbelievable $700. I would not ever hire this place again.

We had some furniture to move, and a lot of stuff that we moved out of the way the best we could. Robert came through, and looked around...I honestly thought he would walk back out the door...But nope. He pre treated all the spots and stains, and asked me to just leave him to it. I took my dog and went back to my bedroom to get some stuff done. About an hour later, he was finished. I came out and walked though the house. Holy cow! He got nearly all the spots and stains out! (I was shocked he got as much out as he did...about 98% of the worst stains) When I got the checkbook out, I asked him how much...I expected him to say something around $300.00. WRONG!
