After explaining my dilemma to owner Esteven, he made me and my folks a priority. After calling on 6 services, Artisan was the first to call back and showed empathy to what I needed to do. Where others said it'd be a week or 2 before they could visit the property to do their assessment, Esteven was there by week's end, and came back the very next day to mow, edge, trim and clean-up. My Dad watched with skepticism that anyone could do the job he does (did). They won a hearty 2-thumbs up from Dad. And my stress level has been lowered.

Thanksgiving weekend it snowed inch or so. They plowed. Two more times after that last being first week of December. Get bill for 2x one November and one December. Called again. " yeah, yeah, we got you down for NO snow removal " January 2 they come again with 1/2inch snow. They say they take pictures before and after. I'm done with them.

Robert and crew came out 1/2/26 to trim 6 trees, remove 1 tree, grind 3 stumps, and fill the hole…read moreback in with chips. We paid in full at the time of service. Well, he and his crew did the initial tree trim of 6 trees and cut one tree, and said he'd be back to do the stumps on 2/20/26. His crew broke a few decor pieces in our yard, left a mess, and nearly stole some of our tools they borrowed. He rescheduled coming out to finish the job 3 more times. Finally, he and one other male came back out on 3/4/26 after telling us 3 days prior that he needed to reschedule again, but we refused that excuse. When I greeted him at my door, he told me the stumps weren't in the contract, that he was only doing it to be a kind person. I brought out the contract and showed him that he was incorrect, because he did in fact write the stumps into the contract. Anyway, he ground one stump and filled in the hole with the chips as stated in the contract. Only to rip the other 2 stumps out and lay them on their side and leave.
