I have updated my review from a 2 star to a 4 star after talking with the owner Tiffany. Original…read morereview below. I absolutely adore the teachers at good life. They are very patient and kind. They helped my son build a lot of confidence and autonomy. He always come home with a smile for the most part. When we first started the first month of drop off was hard but they help him feel safe and secure. If you are like me, a worrier, I would caution you against enrolling in the Newberg location downtown. Tiffany has two location one in Dundee and one in Newberg. I wanted to enroll in the Dundee location but it was full. I am not comfortable at all with the traffic of the homeless population going threw there. If this doesn't bother you then disregard. If I could I would give the good Life a 5 star and the Chehalem center a negative 100. Original review 2 star review "The teacher are amazing. That have really helped my son blossom. The reason for the low review it due to their Newberg location at the Chehalem Culture Center. Most mornings you will encounter homeless people treating the front entrance and park like a hotel. When raising concerns with the Director of the Chehalem center I was ignored. Tiffany the owner of the business reach out to me, but still nothing has changed. I even reach out to the police serval time but the Chehalem center refused to have the individual trespass so their hands are tie, all they can do is ask them to leave."

We have been with…read morethe good life preschool for 2 years now and the teachers are outstanding and our daughter loves it. Children learn everything from social/ emotional skills, language, art, music and even to how to compost a grow a garden! They offer fun complimentry specialty classes like gymnastics, African drumming and cooking which are an added bonus. Come see for yourself all the wonderful things this school has to offer. They even have an app to send you updates on what your child learned and ate that day with pictures and videos! We are happy to be a part of the good life preschool family!

My child has been attending for several months now and we're having a good experience overall…read more Although I do wish sometimes that communication was better, it's really good taking into consideration how many young children are in their care. The staff seem to genuinely care for my baby, which is nice. I really like having the app to see what's going on throughout the day, though it's only as good as the events logged by the staff. Getting several pictures of my baby every day when they are at daycare makes being apart a little easier. In my five months as a customer so far, there has been one misunderstanding about dates the nursery was open/closed due to inconsistent materials on the holiday schedule, and there has been one morning when no one was on site to take care of the children when the center opened, and one of the parents had to call Christina to let her know about the issue, and so we had to just wait there in the lobby with our kiddos until someone arrived (bless you, Kathy!). This is not easy work, so I would say the cost is justified. I'm really grateful for the care my child has received from the staff here and look forward to continuing to partner with them in caring for my child when I am unable to do so myself.

Honestly kinda trash, as a student currently enrolled in NHS (Newberg High school), the entire…read moresystem is very authoritarian, the teachers are underpaid (some of them just hate their students, like Judy Brown). In the 11 years that I have been enrolled, there have been 1 bomb threat on an elementary school (I was in 3rd grade) and 2 shooting threats on the mountain view middle school (both while I was enrolled there). The faculty is sub par, the depression rates of students is at an all time high. The school lunch at the high-school Is so bad that I would honestly just prefer prison food, on 2 occasions last week the 'chicken' in my friend's sandwich was raw. As someone who works in the food industry, the sanitary conditions in that kitchen are sub par and the staff handling the food barely use any PPE. The people in the district office (save for Brittany Morales and Holly Miele, they are amazing) are so extremely biased, bigoted, racist, and homophobic that they actually managed to get on national TV because they banned BLM and pride flags in the schools (this has since changed because of extreme backlash). So, in conclusion, coming from a student who has suffered through this district for his whole life, it is a living hell. Honestly, the whole USA school system is a living hell. Oh, also, before I forget, the district received $11 million from the state because of Covid. instead of raising wages or fixing the bathrooms where entire doors have been ripped off and mirrors broken, or improving the food that they are feeding the children that they are supposed to be taking care of for 7 hours a day, 5 days a week, they decided to build 4 fancy new buildings so they can cram even more kids in here like sardines. Also (this might just be a commentary on school systems in general), but I feel like school shouldn't be painful, like, so many of my friends cry themselves to sleep and only get 4 hours of sleep just so they can have a chance at going to a good college.
