The staff seem to genuinely care for my baby, which is nice. I really like having the app to see what's going on throughout the day, though it's only as good as the events logged by the staff. Getting several pictures of my baby every day when they are at daycare makes being apart a little easier. In my five months as a customer so far, there has been one misunderstanding about dates the nursery was open/closed due to inconsistent materials on the holiday schedule, and there has been one morning when no one was on site to take care of the children when the center opened, and one of the parents had to call Christina to let her know about the issue, and so we had to just wait there in the lobby with our kiddos until someone arrived (bless you, Kathy!). This is not easy work, so I would say the cost is justified. I'm really grateful for the care my child has received from the staff here and look forward to continuing to partner with them in caring for my child when I am unable to do so myself.

Madeline is such an amazing teacher and I can't imagine anyone better suited to teaching this age group than her. She's the epitome of a fun, calm, silly, and compassionate teacher who loves the kids in her care fiercely and helps them explore and blossom in her care. My son has his confidence back and actually wants to go to school every day. At our prior school he complained about going every day and came home so defeated. He is truly thriving with Madeline and her program and we feel so lucky to be here. Aside from how amazing Madeline is as a teacher, the outdoor area is amazing, the inside is cozy, and the program is a perfect balance of structure and individual play. My son comes home singing new songs and talking about fun games they played every day. And the sense of community is so amazing and something I didn't know I was missing. I can't recommend Madeline enough!

His social and physical skills have really blossomed. This school is truly a hidden gem--a nurturing, inspiring environment where children are encouraged to grow, explore, and to be themselves. From day one, we were welcomed into the Wildflower community with warmth and open arms. The entire philosophy of the school, rooted in nature-based learning aligned with what we were looking for. It's been amazing to watch our son thrive in an environment where curiosity is celebrated, and the outdoors is the main classroom. We cannot say enough wonderful things about Teacher Madeline, Teacher Meg and Teacher Raina. Madeline is a remarkable educator--kind, patient, and deeply passionate about what she does. Her ability to connect with each child and support them on their individual journey is a gift. Our son absolutely adores all the teachers, and we can see the confidence, independence, and joy in learning that they have helped foster in him. We feel so grateful to have found this incredible space for our son to learn and grow!

The teachers are warm, attentive, and deeply understanding--they made both of my kids feel seen, safe, and loved every single day. The curriculum is thoughtful and well-balanced, blending play-based learning with foundational academic skills in a way that kept my children both engaged and challenged. I was always impressed by the healthy meals they provided, as well as the wide range of activities designed to nurture emotional, social, and intellectual growth. The play spaces are spotless and thoughtfully designed, and the fenced outdoor area is full of creative, fun structures that encouraged exploration and movement. Most importantly, my children loved going to school. They came home happy, enriched, and more than ready for kindergarten--confident, curious, and well-prepared. Happy Face Preschool provided a level of care, education, and heart that went above and beyond anything I ever hoped for. I'm so grateful to the entire staff for the lasting impact they've had on our family.

However, I was uneasy many times throughout the experience with Jennifer and felt you deserve to know why. The multiple additions of drivers to approved school pick up list were overwhelming. Not knowing who was picking up my children, compelling me to ask if those individuals knew my children was unnerving. On 1/18/18 Jennifer made a call directly to the school to add an Oona's Playcare employee to the approved school pick up list without my knowledge. I was told Jennifer proceeded to curse obscenities at the school secretary and hung up when she was told the directive to change pick up is required to come from a parent. I was appalled. I felt trapped at work that day with no options for after school care. I did not want to address my concerns with Jennifer for fear of retaliation as my children remained in her home. I felt solace in the fact my kids were content and old enough to communicate if they were not. Unfortunately, my silence likely enforced this behavior as acceptable, when it was not. I accept that responsibility. On 3/14/18 I received a call from the school that my kids were waiting but no one had arrived to pick them up. My heart sank at that moment in the middle of an airport as I waited for my plane to go home from work that evening. I was paralyzed. I could not continue to disregard this behavior nor was I going to leave my children in a situation while I wait out a contractual 1 month written notice period. Someone from Oona's Playcare arrived for my kids within minutes of that phone call, only 15 minutes late, it happens. Unfortunately, my overall experience over the six-month period was disconcerting and more than I could tolerate any longer.
