Teacher Vicki is amazing with the little ones, and there isn't a day that goes by that my son doesn't bring home some creative craft that he made that day. He loves it, and asks when he can go back to school. The classes are small, and focused. Teacher Vicki has a plan for each day. There is also excellent opportunities to get/give feedback on how your child is doing. I would highly recommend this preschool.

We encourage our preschoolers to direct their daily activities, so about one third of their day is determined by the children. Pre-k classes are offered Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning. Our M/W/F classes are designed specifically for children who will be moving up to kindergarten in the fall of the upcoming school year, so the child needs to be four by September 1st and consistently potty trained. PreK children attend for three hours per day, with ten children in a class. Beginning preschool classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings. T/TH classes are designed for children who are three or four years old as a first experience working together in a group setting. We limit our beginning preschool classes to ten children who are three by September 1st of the year and are reliably potty trained.

The updates I receive throughout the day give me peace of mind and lets me see he is having fun learning. The care the teachers provide is beyond valuable in teaching emotion regulation as well as preparing my kiddo for a successful transition into kindergarten. Excellent teachers | Safe, trustworthy, fun PreK…read more I've waited to write this review until my daughter graduated from here. She's been here for two years and loved it! It's important to note that we enrolled her in 2021. She was very shy and isolated during 2020, so a part of why we enrolled her was to get more socialization. She's a complete social butterfly and gets along well with anyone now. Like every parent, I needed to feel reassured that my kid was going to be in good hands when I send her off to preschool. It's a big milestone and quite daunting going through the process of which place to choose. We looked at 3 other places, 1 other one in town before immediately deciding to enroll our daughter. Here are my pluses: * compassionate, trustworthy, transparent, and attentive teachers/staff * BrightWheel app to give you daily updates on your kid-- including photos! * fun activities -- cute artwork * safe and enclosed with doors that are locked * across the street from the park Compassionate, trustworthy, transparent, and attentive: the teachers always greet us at pick up and tell us if our kiddo had an accident (of any kind). If she fell, we sign a paper acknowledging what happened. They've worked with us for a whole year potty training our kiddo. It was a very long process that required a lot of patience, but we finally got there just before she turned 5. They have been nothing but patient and supportive every step of the way, never pushing it. Class sizes vary due to kids on different schedules, so one day they'll have 3-7 kids and another day there will be a dozen. Every kid seems happy and engaged when I'm there. They have nap time at noon for two hours, which is very important if you're looking to enroll young toddlers. They're flexible with drop off time up until 9am and pick up before 6pm. On sunny days, they'll take the kids across the street to play at the park. You communicate using their BrightWheel app, which you get updates including photos of your kid throughout the day. I wish they had this tech when I was growing up! My daughter is sad to leave this place, but we know that if we have another kiddo in the future, we'll be back here again.

I am deeply concerned with the ongoing failure of leadership and accountability within this school…read moredistrict. After multiple superintendent transitions, there has been no clear improvement in direction, transparency, or outcomes for students. More troubling are repeated concerns from families regarding: Failure to consistently follow IEPs, which is not just unacceptable--it puts the district at risk of violating federal law and failing the students who need support the most Lack of oversight and accountability in athletic and youth programs, leading to disorganization, poor communication, and missed opportunities for student development Breakdowns in communication with parents, where concerns are minimized or not addressed in a timely and meaningful way Serious concerns about student safety and supervision, which must be treated as a top priority at all times At a minimum, families deserve transparency, consistency, and a district that follows through on its legal and ethical responsibilities. Right now, many parents do not feel confident that those expectations are being met. This is not about isolated incidents--it reflects a broader pattern that needs immediate attention. I urge the school board to: Conduct an independent review of IEP compliance and student support services Improve oversight and structure within athletic and extracurricular programs Establish clear communication channels and accountability measures for addressing parent concerns Provide transparency around how leadership decisions are being made and evaluated Every student deserves a safe, structured, and supportive environment. Until meaningful changes are made, families will continue to question whether this district is meeting that standard and they are leaving this district at high levels for better opportunities for their children.

The staff has been great in their communication to me, and they are very tech savvy as well (email updates, smart phone apps for tracking student performance and picture updates). The PE classes keep you healthy with lots of creative fun and games that excitingly change through out the week. And Music that you also learn from none other than the amazing Heidi Lentz will make you get a head start in perfect vocals and lots of fun game with instruments. I may be 13 years old but as a student who went to this school k-5th I would highly recommend this to any parents looking for a school for there kids.

I think it's inappropriate for my kid's third grade teacher to tell my kid and the class that they could choose to be a boy, a girl, or a neither on any given day by holding up a number line with a boy on one side, girl on the other, and neither in the middle. The part that angers me the most is that there was no phone call or email to parents so that we can follow up with our own child. I had to find out by asking her if she knew what "gender" meant, and that's when she told me. I fought for gay rights alongside my gay brother and gay sister in the 90s and 00s, so I am not a hater. But I do believe that telling a YOUNG child they could choose to change their gender, planting that seed and confusion in their heads, knowing the psychological and physical effects including mutilation of bodies as well as hormone therapy causing horrible side effects and possibility of being sterile, is just crossing the line in my book. I asked my daughter how she felt when she heard her teacher say this, and she replied "I forgot what 1 + 1 was".
