Healthcare settings can be overwhelming for patients in her condition, but this visit felt calm, respectful, and truly productive. In just one appointment, we achieved more than we have in multiple visits over the last four years with previous primary care, cardiology, and neurology providers. Dr. Shina addressed every concern, including things we did not even know to ask about, and introduced us to services and resources that will immediately improve her quality of life. I arrived with a long list of questions, and every single one was answered thoughtfully. Many doctors become dismissive if you do not use the right medical terms, but that never happened here. Dr. Shina encouraged questions and made sure nothing was left unclear. We left feeling fully informed and supported. What stood out most was her bedside manner. She spoke directly to the patient, looked her in the eyes, asked how she was feeling, and treated her with dignity and compassion. That combination of knowledge, patience, empathy, and genuine concern is rare and it made all the difference. The office was easy to find, clean and spacious. The staff was helpful and efficient. Lyndsey, the MA deserves special recognition for making the entire experience even better. We left with referrals, a care plan and real hope. I see NP Bre'Ana Strong, and she has been nothing but caring, kind, understanding, and patient with me (qualities that I think can be incredibly rare/uncommon in the medical field, especially when it comes to primary care.) She went above and beyond at my last visit to make sure both a physical and mental health care need were taken care of - and she didn't rush me or make me feel like a burden. I couldn't believe this office only had a one star rating on yelp, I had to come here to fix it. The nurses here are also super friendly and welcoming (very important when you're dealing with health stuff, IMO!) and the receptionists were kind and welcoming too. When I say family orientated makes me so proud to have joined this family to utilize my CNA skills. yes, there are staff challenges at times, but we work together for the best care for our residents. The activities department make sure that the residents are kept updated with the outside world meaning (fashion shows, celebrating All holidays, jazz bands, and even more (let's just say there's never a dull moment. Our Wound care Nurse is awesome when I say blessed hands (wound treatments are done with loving /care. I like that our DON and ADON has monthly meetings to either update the staff on changes or even let us voice our opinions on certain things and accept suggestions. No one's position is too high to work on the weekend or after hours. Awesome dietary staff that makes sure residents has food they were used to eating while at home. Maintenance is always in work mood even when their shift is ending. Let me not forget about our Social Workers who works after hours to greet new residents and to make sure things are done in their best interest. (Great patient advocates). The supervisors on pm shift are awesome ALWAYs making sure that they are available for any HELP that is needed. When the question is asked, yes if my parents were alive would I place them at Lahser Hills. Great Job Team! I love y'all.
