We cancelled 60 days prior to our youngest started school in September, but lost two months worth of tuition deposit, which was $1,540. We explained our situation to the director, Damita Robinson, that we had to cancel due to our PCS to a different state, but she gave zero refund simply saying that she cannot deviate from the contract. They do not have a prorated refund policy. If you cancel after a certain date, you will lose all of your deposit. In my honest opinion, the school's cancellation policy is unjust and unethical. Why did I have to lose all of $1,540 for no school attended? It disheartens me to only give 3 stars to a school that our three kids loved so much.

The children don't just run around all day not learning anything. Each class has a curriculum that caters to the development milestones of that age. They provide meals, which I like, and also do potty training. Another bonus is every quarter, they have parent-teacher conferences, which allows you to learn what your child is doing and where he/she can improve. Now, every childcare center is not perfect and I know that searching for childcare for a child is hard (and sometimes frustrating)...but I think you will like Kindercare. It's worth the cost. My son has great social skills, a strong vocabulary, and is learning to read/write. I love Kindercare!

Truly scary. **** Our longtime daycare closed, and we enrolled our children here. A decision I regret. I would avoid this location. The administrative team is disorganized, communication is poor, and advocating for your child results in being labeled "aggressive," even as staff raise their voices. My 5‑year‑old's teacher waited nearly two weeks to introduce herself, then immediately criticized his behavior in front of him and other children, with no explanation of how they addressed it. Billing was a mess: constant errors, incorrect charges, overpayments, and no accountability. The director threatened to unenroll all three of my kids when I paused payment due to an incorrect amount, which she later confirmed was their mistake. They also fired my middle child's teacher without notifying parents. I only found out because a stranger was holding my son's hand at pickup. No announcement was ever sent. Overall, the lack of professionalism and communication made this an unsafe and unreliable environment.

For example my daughter who is having a hard time potty training kept having accidents during nap time, I called the school and asked them to wake her up mid-way through nap time to pee to see if that helps and guess what- they were happy to do so and she had fewer accidents. My son is more of the shy kid but seems to be into everything-he loves the school, he loves how they teach and how he can go to different areas to learn "his way." My kids are not there for the summer and when I called to ask a few questions about the school year the directress had no problems answering all my questions and is always very sweet. I love that they are in uniforms and they do have a close knit group, they offer summer camp or you can just do the school part which is 10 months (September-June). My son will start the Kindergarten program in September and when we finished up the school year last year we met with both his and my daughters teachers and they gave us the report cards and for my son said that we can come visit a Kindergarten class before the school year starts, they also have no problems with you stopping by and watching the kids and offer several times throughout the year to actually sit in the class and watch your child do work and then meet with the teachers. At Olney the class sizes are not too big they are perfect and the mixed ages is actually really nice, the older kids are very helpful with the younger kids. I have never had any of the staff not be willing to help or have a problem with any questions I ask or not being helpful. If education is what you are looking for especially with shy kids or kids that have a hard time sitting still it is a great place for them. They adapt to the kids personality and even if my daughter who was 2 at the time had a hard time napping they had no problem rubbing her back. The only "cons" I have are these: They no longer offer lunch so you have to pack lunch everyday, they do not go on any field trips (although 1st-3rd graders have something that comes to the school as I understand, the playground is outdated and there is no PE for the older kids, nor any after school activity options. They do not do many events where you can get to know other parents and families. They are not big on sending juice boxes for lunch. They do not have a "bridge" program or work with other schools to send your kids after 3rd grade (which would be nice). All in all we are happy so far and plan on leaving the kids their until 3rd grade.

My son did not learn basic numbers or alphabets in spanish,or much else. The center is also located in a professional building. My son had some behavioral challenges his second year there. He was fine the first year. I believe the owner was more focused on the noise level and the "image" of the school. I removed my son and placed him in a small bilingual center. He learned spanish numbers, colors and alphabet within about two months. His current teacher does not have any issues with his behavior and he loves school. Arco staff was friendly and professional, however I am not confident that they are up for the challenges of bilingual education of young children.

He is always reaching for his teachers when we get there, smiling, having a great time. They have done an amazing job with him in terms of working with him to make sure he hits those developmental milestones. He has made friends - he even recognizes his classmates. I love seeing the videos and pictures. They make me smile. And I also get the added bonus of seeing what toys or games he likes so I can get them for home as well. I love getting the reports at the end of the day so I know how he slept and how much he has eaten and when. It allows me to keep his schedule that they are establishing in daycare at home as well. They also must be keeping that place incredibly clean. Babies are gross, and kids are germy. I know kids come to school with runny noses and coughs (believe me, I get it). But even my son's pediatrician said that she was shocked that he had only had one cold in five months because he has been in daycare full time from such an early age during cold and flu season.
