When we saw your sign for all you can eat sushi I just assumed it was going to be buffet style but noooooo you are making it fresh to order and everyone knows fresh is best!!! It sure was fresh!!!! Now let's start with the service Jasmie was our server and she was amazing!!! She was on top of it!!! She was sweet, helpful, and very attentive!!! She never let our drinks get empty or sit with empty plates on the table!!! OOKA SHE IS A KEEPER!!! Now the food..... EVERYTHING we had was delicious but my favorite dishes was the tuna tartar was fabulous I could have sat and eaten that by the bowl full!!!! And the Ooka sushi OMG ONE OF MY FAVORITE SUSHI EVER!!! This place is quite nice for the Wiregrass to have! All you can eat sushi with a quality product! The crab rangoons were so yummy!! I primarily ate Nigiri, the salmon avocado hand roll was amazing, and my friend really enjoyed a few other rolls they have to offer. The waitress was really sweet. FANTASTIC! This restaurant is family-friendly with an excellent selection of food. There is plenty of seating so I have never experienced a wait more than 5 minutes. I feel so fancy in there with the gorgeous colors and huge chandelier. The service is really good so I recommend ordering in small amounts to avoid being charged or overeating. Not a fan of raw meat? They have PLENTY of non-sushi items like noodles, grilled meats, soups/salads, fried rice to please any picky eater. In fact, their fried rice was the best I've had in a long time! I'm not an all-you-can eat fan but I still enjoyed the food and found value in the items I chose. I think the price matches very well with the average sushi meal. Decided to try this place for the reviews. Unfortunately there wasn't much I enjoyed about it. The nigiri was the only reason for 3 stars and not 2. The avocado in the rolls were so far from ripe it crunched when you bit into it. Over sauced, and quality wasn't there. I did notice as the lunch rush came in everyone in there were not ethnic. If you're Asian I'd recommend not coming here. The steak tataki was one of the worst I've ever had. The sauce on it was pungent and over whelming. The beef ramen just tasted like noodles in water with some shredded cabbage. Will not be returning to this location read more

Passing through and stopped here for dinner. When we walked in, the place was freezing with AC on low. Seen many customer go out and get jackets. The place is clean and ambiance was very nice. If you don't mind having rules for 'all you can eat' than this is a great place. First, the sushi was good and the crab Rangoon decent. So I'll give the food a 3. But - here's what I don't like 1) when I go to an all you can eat place - buffet I anticipate that I'm going to get to pick and choose little bit of things that I want - without being told I have to order and eat the complete first item. I don't want to order full menu items and be forced to eat them all in order to get something else. 2) no sharing or trying of another's plate - that'll Cost you more $$ - which is absurd - especially each! and you're telling me I can only order one little thing at a time and if I don't eat at all then I get an up -charge of two dollars per item. That's BS So that all you can eat is really if you can eat everything that comes your way then you can get the next thing. Well some of us to go to Buffet so that we can try a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I certainly do miss Ichiban!! I will not return to this place for $41 I could've gone somewhere that I'd have much better choices and options other than being threatened that if I don't eat all my food on my plate I won't get to pick the next thing. Ooka sushi is a nice restaurant with a great setup for there AYCE option. However one thing that I always judge an all you can eat sushi restaurant by is there fish to rice ratio and Ooka fails in this area. There sushi rolls are not that bad there pretty even. There nigiri sushi however is not the same, very thin slice of fish on a big ball of rice. Fish quality is very fresh though I just wish there was more fish on the rice. Other then that I have no complaints atmosphere in there is beautiful, wait staff is very attentive, and wait time for food is pretty fast. I did deduct a start just for the rice issue. I still prefer Oishi in Dothan cause they give you a very nice portion of fish in there sushi. Ooka has better selection and price but Oishi has better quality. read more

This is officially my favorite restaurant! I come here mainly for the sushi. Yes, this is an all you can eat restaurant with a LOT of things other than sushi, like hibachi or soup, but the sushi here is just wonderful. And I think that is the crazy thing, since this is all you can eat. Usually the quality goes down when quantity goes up, but this is not the case. The sushi rice has so much flavor and tastes very fresh along with all the other ingredients in every order that is served. If you love great sushi, come here to eat. Also, the other entrees are delicious as well. They have stuff like authentic ramen, hibachi, soup, salad, and a bunch of other great appetizers all available at one not-to-bad price. The best part is, they bring it to you. This is not like a traditional Buffett. They actually just have servers that bring your food that you've ordered. So you also get great service as well. Only bad thing is: plan to stay a while. Make time to enjoy this place. It's good to make small orders so you can be sure not to waste any food, they could charge you for excessive waste. This place has the unique specialty of being an all-you-can eat where you actually sit down at a nice table and have a menu and get waited on. You pay the all-you-can eat price (VERY reasonable fee) and then you can order anything from the menu, as much as you want, however many orders you want! Where has this been all my life? It made for an unusually relaxing yet exciting meal. Instead of a long wait on an empty stomach followed by hurriedly eating before everything gets cold, you can order a little something here, a little something there. . . so while you're waiting on your first tempura order, you're nibbling some gyoza appetizers, and while you're enjoying the hot crispy tempura you can order some ramen or sushi. Plus, you can share with whoever you're eating with if you both select the all-you-can-eat option (they do allow you to order individual items if you just want a cheap, small meal instead). So the party I went with had a fantastic time; it was like a heavenly feast and we just kept trying so many different delicious foods. Their variety is sooo extraordinary! In my experience Japanese restaurants in America don't usually have so many different things on their menu. This is absolutely perfect for an important date night, a friendly get-together, a whole family, a business meeting, or anything.
