Stunning. A beautiful store in a beautiful small town downtown that's been/being revived. This facility is modern, yet traditional. It's exceptionally comfortable and shiny clean. It's family-friendly, as well as providing peace and quiet for those seeking that. Pastries are excellent. Ice cream is excellent. Coffee is superb (and that's from someone visiting from Seattle) and world-class. And downstairs is the production center for Onyx's Terroir world-class chocolate brand, producer of award-winning chocolate by the mind and palate that was the driving force and the cofounder behind Markham and Fitz before joining Onyx. Be sure to check that facility out downstairs when you visit and have a taste of the amazing chocolates (and probably a bit of chocolate learning while you're there). We brought both coffee and chocolate back to Seattle.

The bougiest coffee shop in Springdale. Walk in and order your drink and snack at the counter. Hang out and enjoy your sweet treat. Head down to the basement for a chocolate tasting and walk thru the gift shop. Don't forget to purchase your items and complete self check out while down there. Head up to the third floor for a quieter experience where you can work or partake in a work meeting. Best coffee in town.

Disappointed by Onyx. Do not get the yogurt bowl. It had a total of 7 disgusting looking strawberries and weird powder that was not on the description (0/5). I had high hopes for the sweet potato casserole croissant, but it was also mediocre. Lacked flavor and filling. (2.5/5) Latte was good, but way too milky. Couldn't taste the coffee, but the syrup was good (2/5). The ambiance here is great, would be a good spot to work from home. Service was just fine.

probably would lean more towards a 3.5 because their coffee isn't the best, it was mostly milk not enough actual coffee. The muffin was also different almost like a cookie, that was new for me! The tea was really good and I would give a 4 if it wasn't for the coffee. Really really cool place too, it's more of a modern coffee shop but they did it well. Nice people here too, they're like hipsters really nice haha!

An Onyx in downtown Springdale is exactly what Emma Avenue needed! They have been revamping this part of downtown and the addition of this Onyx is sure to bring even more people down here. I came in the morning so did not get to try their cocktails or ice cream but love that those are options here; they are now doing so much more than just coffee. This location is an old bank and Onyx redesigned it to make such a cool use of the space while still preserving the overall layout and architecture. The upstairs is a designated work space where no phones are allowed, the main floor is the coffee shop, and the basement is a shop and their chocolate factory! It honestly feels like Onyx has thought of everything. Not only is their coffee delicious, but they are on the cutting edge of everything a trendy coffee shop should have. They have an "onyx honor bar" where you can fill a cup of their house coffee and tap to pay without waiting in line. Their iced teas come with free refills. They have a case full of delicious pastries and chocolates to choose from. They have a walk-up window for ice cream, so you don't even have to go inside and wait in the same line as those wanting coffee. You can see the chocolate factory downstairs in the old bank vault and the staff can tell you which chocolates pair best with which of their coffees. The shop downstairs is all tap-and-go, allowing you to get what you need without waiting for someone to come help you. I got a hot Onyx Delight which is a staple on their menu that is hard to pass up; it is a signature latte with vanilla, cinnamon, and honey that is made perfectly every time. I will always be a big Onyx fan and am stoked to have this location in Springdale!

I had the chocolate flight which was very good. My daughter had a ginormous croissant which was excellent. It is very clean. Downstairs you can sample their different chocolates.

This place has the best chai I've had in a long time. Alternative milk- almond, oat or half & half available. Friendly baristas. Lots of tables inside and outside on the first floor. Study cubicles on the second floor. Love this place. Be warned: there was a steady line of customers coming in to order the whole time we were there.

Everything you love about onyx coffee is now in Springdale. The coffee, the atmosphere, the food, the nice friendly employees. They even have their own chocolate lab in the basement. Oh yeah!!! The food is good. The coffee is awesome. What is really love is that it has its own spin on a number things, even though it is Onyx. Love this place. I'll be back!

We had a great visit. Everyone in our party ordered something different from coffee to tea and ice cream, and everyone loved their drinks! There's something for everyone here. The roll was such a treat. Will definitely be coming back when visiting AR again.

I really enjoyed that there were multiple areas to hang out at, including the outdoor area. Food and drinks are good as always. The only downside was having to wait in line for a while.

    Onyx delight coffee really good

I had a lovely cocktail, some sort of spritz type drink, and we both had some solid sandwiches. Yes we're in at 6pm on a Friday but half the tables are empty and the bar from the photos is empty. So not a too busy issue. We didn't like how the salads, then appetizers, then food all delivered to the table within 3 minutes of each other. Not cool. The worst part of the dinner was those lousy bagged loaded French fries. Boo The rest of the meal was Good. The chef likes mushrooms as much as I do, on everything. My salisbury steak was generally cooked well but lacked the traditional gravy on top. Without the gravy it was just a cooked burger. My wife enjoyed her smothered chicken and I enjoyed the mushrooms that were on top of hers. And Mother enjoyed her catfish dinner. Her favorite part of the dish was the garlic bread. We both ordered happy hour drinks that we ended up paying full price for. The drinks were small but very tasty! My overall opinion was good, better than an OK 3 star. But it was nothing personally I want to go back for. Solid 4 star.

I love the trendy laid back atmosphere, both inside and it includes a nice patio space. I noticed several people either dining with others or doing some reading or work on their computers, quite an endorsement of how relaxing the environment is. Early on there had been some shape-shifting from mini-bodega for the entrance lobby, but they've settled into this current mode as a wine bar. For my food: I ordered the salmon breakfast, which comes with a 'jammy egg,' and a latte breve. I had asked for my drink in a mug but received it in a glass. I have a personal preference for my meal to be deconstructed. I hadn't seen a picture of this dish else would have instructed had I been aware. I like to cut open my own egg and tear apart my own fish. (That... will likely be a standard request for all restaurants in the future--deconstruct.) I like the salt flakes and fennel on the eggs and don't know whether I'd've gotten them deconstructed The salmon seems (to me to be) more 'baked' than 'smoked:' The service was pleasant and charming.
