I provided my location and the times I was available for the detailing session. I received an email confirmation of my detailing session and a reminder call the day before. The OA crew showed up to my house on-time and began working on my car as I went about at home. The session took a little over an hour as scheduled. After the detail session was completed, Clifford walked me around my car to ensure that the detail met my expectations. To my surprise, Clifford threw in some extra add-ons (I had selected the Premier Detail)! My car is looking better than new! Onyx Armour may be the new kid on the block when it comes to the Auto Detailing industry. THE CONVENIENCE OF THEM COMING TO MY HOUSE WAS SUPERB! THEIR WORK- AWESOME!! This was the first time I tried mobile detailing services and I was thoroughly impressed. Choosing a package was simple, making an appointment was quick, and the service detailer came out on time! He was professional and prompt. He answered all of my questions on car detailing and he went straight to his work immediately. When the work was completed, I was blown away. The last time I saw my car in this pristine condition was when I bought it! I get pretty OCD, so when I saw the vents, the coin slots, every nook and cranny in the seat folds, the door panels, and even the corners of the windows to the car were completely q-tipped clean, I couldn't be more satisfied. Being a mom of a 3 year old and often being busy running between swimming classes, dance classes, music classes, my car hasn't always been in top condition. Going to the detailers in town just meant $$$$$ and having to work with the inconvenience of dropping off the car, finding a ride and having to pick it up later wasn't necessarily a "can do" on my agenda. I have owned my car for about a year now and after Clifford detailed my car, I feel as if I own a brand new car - it has seriously never been this perfectly clean. My car is black so the swirl marks are always there but after I made an appointment with Clifford for the supreme detail + 3 stage buff & polish, my paint came out flawless....as well as every portion of my car, inside & out (see pictures). I have my friends bachelor party coming up and I wanted my car to be show ready. I wanted the paint to look fresh and smooth like the day it was born in the factory. I wanted it to shine bright and glisten and be free of pesky swirl marks. I'm happy and confident to say that the paint sure does look and feel like it! After scheduling a time and date on the phone, I chose the "Freshen Up Detail" package. As advertised, Onyx came to me right on schedule and the detailer (Clifford) had many tools and products with him. Depending on the size of the car, service was scheduled to be done in 1-2 hours, so I went back into my house and checked in every now and then. Through observation, I was surprised at the level of attentiveness the detailer provided; every crook and nanny of my car (2012 Honda Civic SI) was covered. It looked like it just rolled out of the dealership! I am happy with how my car turned out, especially with the service. I've recently noticed nasty mini scratches all over my car ('08 Toyota Camry), ESPECIALLY my bumper, and decided to call these guys to give them a try. I'm so glad I did and took advantage of their pre-launch promo. This is going to be my go-to place to make my ride look like new again. They've been nothing short of amazing. Usually I am very skeptical with any services to my car, but Oynx Armour went beyond my expectations. They were recommended by a college friend and I thought I would give them a shot. It was very convenient for me since I did not have to drop off my car and wait for the detail to be finished like other detail places. I have a nice clean car and it is great. I purchased a Groupon to try out the service. They come to your house (or wherever) and you just have to provide electricity and water. I think it was Ricardo who worked on my car and he was friendly and even put up with my chatty 79-year old dad. Thank you for that. The water use was efficient and conservative, which is great for our drought. I received text-message reminders and a phone call just to make sure everything was going OK. Recently took a trip up North for the new year in the car I recently purchased from my brother ('11 Honda Accord). I sent a mass quote inquiry to local Detailing shops around my area on 9/23. Clifford from Onyx was the first person to respond with the lowest rates. I noticed they were new but had a lot of great reviews, however, I did not realize they were a mobile detailing service. I live in an apartment so I can't provide them the requirements as a house can. I thought this might be a deal breaker but Clifford mentioned for a small fee, they can pickup/drop off my car within half a day. I was relieved because I'm all for convenience! I really wanted to get my car done asap so I called Clifford to find out their availability. He was out of the office and could not check their openings but promised to call me back. I was looking forward to confirming a time and work with Onyx. He ended up messaging me a few hours later that night to inform me that they are booked up for the weekend but have Tuesday available. I responded back to ask what time they can do on Tuesday and no response back. I sent another message the next day (9/24) and still no response. Their hours of operation state they are open everyday. I tried calling the phone number listed (the # I originally dialed when I spoke with Clifford on the phone) but it rings and rings until a busy tone happens and I can't leave a message. I'm thinking, "Hmm... it's the weekend, they must be super busy. I'll just wait until Monday to get back to me." Monday came and still no reply. I'm not sure what caused him to no longer respond to me... Maybe it had to do with me asking about the yelp coupon/check-in discount that was offered or me informing him that if Tuesday is the earliest date, my car will need to be picked up from my work office near Levi Stadium. To me, this all seems like legitimate questions/requests..... I made the effort to reach out but it's their loss.
