The whining was not about the care but the waiting and crazy crowd during the pandemic. When so many doctors were limiting their hours Dr O was there for the community. He's not hurting for patients so go try and find another caring community based highly educated and qualified heart care specialist. The office and waiting room are not fancy but highly functional with skilled caring staff. Yeah I'm fairly new to the place but Dr Ola came highly recommended by a very discerning person who has been a long time patient. If he's a fan of Dr Ola it's enough for me. And overall the chatter about services in the waiting room is very encouraging to hear. The equipment is very up to date and the time that I've had to wait to be seen is by no means lengthy. I have seen walk-ins being taken but I have always been seen within a reasonable time frame from my appointment time. Call and see if they are able to accommodate you like I did. I'm very pleased to be able to call Dr Ola my heart doctor, aka My Cardiologist.

You ask them to send you something in a email they don't send it. This is the worst doctors office I've ever been to in my entire life. The front desk is full of women that don't want to help you. They just want to show up and collect a check. They argue amongst themselves in front of patients. I've been going there with my mother for a few years and dealing with their horrible service because my mother just loves the doctor and wants to stay(ie my mother just wants to support a black business). But everything changed when the doctor snapped on my mother over a jury duty exemption request, my mother is a senior citizen with dementia and he is my mother's primary doctor! Now I have to find a whole new doctor to get this done and I'm having a hard time with them giving me my mother's medical records. They just refuse to email me the hipa form so I can get it released to the new doctor. Their entire business is a joke, the truly sad thing is I really think they're just over encumbered With too many patients to actually care as a private practice. Last year their main doctor was handling my sisters cancer. He recommended an oncologist, the oncologist recommended chemo, and my sister had a adverse reaction to the chemo. The main doctor and the oncologist never once checked on my sister in the hospital didn't even call her. My sister was in the hospital for a month. I had to rush and find it a whole new team of doctors to help my sister before she passed away. Thankfully she still alive, but if I would've sat there and listen to the main doctor, my sister would probably be dead. WORST PRACTICE EVER

The office is full service in that they have regular Ob/Gyn services and ultra sound services on specific days of the week. There are several doctors there even though I've only ever seen Dr. Ericksen. The office is pretty busy and recently after some unpleasant events in the neighborhood they've had to reduce their hours to maintain the safety of workers and patients. Appointments are necessary even though you can walk in. Just note that even when there is an appointment you'll still have to wait on average for about an hr. I don't mind because a good dr with whom you have rapport is very hard to come by. Prior to seeing Dr. Ericksen I went o another popular female dr an she was great but her staff was rude and unprofessional. Not here! The ladies are super professional and will make you feel comfortable. The one complaint I have is that the rooms are always frigid and you wait there for a while barely dressed waiting for the doctor. Besides that you're in great hands of the staff here. I worry about when Dr. Ericksen retires who I will end up with but I pray that's no time soon.

After spending days trying to talk my way through this MRI, I became overwhelmed with thoughts of being loaded into a cylinderical tube with its lining inches away from my face with no means to bolt for freedom. When I arrived I discovered that it's a beautiful building with parking on the premises. Walking inside of the building, it's similarity to that of a pack of sardines. It was packed!! My name was called once to pick up paperwork to fill out, my name called a second time to be given paperwork to take home. I was hoping that I wouldn't be there all day but my hopes dissipated after waiting for 45 minutes or more. A final calling of my name to enter the MRI waiting area. After sitting in the MRI waiting area momentarily, I was given instructions to change and lock up my belongings. Entering the MRI lab I see a newer machine that was very attractive and it gave a visual impression that it was not a confined space. I anticipated that my body would not need to be inserted entirely. I was right, they set me on the table, inserted my foot in a boot on the table and slide me in waist deep, gave me head phones and an emergency button. SUCCESS! This was a breeze. After the noisy sessions were over, I was released to go home. All that worrying for nothing. They provided quality and professional care. 4.5 Stars rounded up to 5. I'm a happy camper... You input the info from the prescribing dr and take it from there I was seen at the Laurelton location on Merrick Blvd. Once you're at the location the receptionists are professional and the check in process is short and respectful of your time. They use an iPad to eliminate use of paper and cut down time. I was taken to the waiting area where I used a small room to skip into a gown and wait for the mammogram and sonogram. They give you a large bag for your things and when the exam is over you can keep it. In total my appointment was about an hour with ease.
