Once people were going back to work--after a vaccination and boosters were made available to everyone, I decided to go with Dr. Harwin, because I'm a Broadway actor and my physical prowess needed to come back, somI could work. Dr. Harwin recognized my uniqueness and he said the words, "let's get you back on stage again." He knew how important this was for me. And he being a recipient of a double knee surgery himself, he could really tell me what to expect. The other doctors were younger, but none had the sparkle Dr, Harwin had. It was the best decision. A well respected sports medicine doctor basically said that I wasn't likely to get better and even mentioned surgery. This was after a year of physical therapy which was not helping. I then saw Dr. Abraham who gave me a few rounds of Prolotherapy injections. Today I am completely healed and eternally grateful for this fantastic doctor. He will give you an honest assessment and is careful and knowledgeable. I have not had to get another set of injections for over a year, although I will not hesitate to go back if another flare up begins. As for the comment about his office, I thought it was perfectly fine and am glad there are still a few doctors who are able to have small private practices rather than being beholden to large for profit health care companies.

I have been active for most of my life - distance runner and swimmer for the last 15 years - but I started doing less and less over the last few years as I noticed I was losing mobility in my right shoulder. I worked around it by changing my work out routines, eventually just cycling so I wouldnt aggravate my shoulder... but then I noticed I was having trouble picking my arm up overhead to change my clothes. I'm 27 and still wanted to go back to swimming, so this clearly was not ideal. My consult with Dr. Feldman was short and sweet: if you want your lifestyle back, surgery is the way to go. He certainly didn't push for surgery, he asked me about my expectations and laid out the options for me. I scheduled my surgery for literally the following week. The whole experience was so efficient, especially at the hospital itself. The NYU staff were all so friendly and attentive to detail, the place was pristine, the surgery was on time and my fiance (who was so worried in the waiting room) told me that all the hospital staff were so kind and let him know how I was doing the whole time. I was so nervous in the operating room but everyone there was great and put me at ease. I had three follow ups with Dr. Feldman post-op: at 1 week, 6 weeks, and 4 months. All of them went by quick. At week 1, I had my stitches taken out and got the go ahead to start PT. At 6 weeks, Dr. Feldman evaluated my progress - I was exactly where I should be at that point, based on the PT program he gave me. At 4 months, I was discharged because I am fully recovered and have regained full, pre-injury mobility. I was in a sling for the first 4 weeks, then I was doing PT 2-3x a week for 12 weeks before going down to 1x a week. I've been swimming since 12 weeks post-op and building my strength back up. You'd be surprised how much your muscles atrophy after just a few DAYS immobilized in a sling... so PT early and often is key. Anyway, overall I've had no complications during recovery and for a major surgery, I've had an incredibly smooth recovery process. I would highly recommend Dr. Feldman to anyone considering shoulder surgery. And I want to shout out his entire team, because we are only as good as our supporting cast. A lot of reviews cite the rudeness of him and his office staff but I think they're all doing amazing work. I haven't had a single poor experience with anyone there, they actually went above and beyond all my expectations. Mo was in constant communication, coordinated with my lovely fiance to pick up the ice machine, even helped us with the process of submitting a claim for it to the insurance company. The woman at the front desk is super efficient despite being swamped all the time. When I was scheduling my last follow up, I asked if they could call me the day before to remind me, she was honest and said its probably going to be too busy for her to do that but she can give me an appointment card. I honestly had such a seamless experience with Dr. Feldman, the only thing is that the wait times in the office can tend to be slightly long... like varies between 10 minutes to an hour because he does spend the appropriate time with you to evaluate you and your progress. I am soooooo grateful that Dr. Feldman is even in-network with my insurance. Most people don't appreciate how little the doctor gets paid out through your insurance and are then appalled that they're "rushed" through his office. I've been to doctors offices where doctors speed patients through conveyor belts so they can make as much money as possible, and this ain't it. I think, in total, he was paid like $900 after adjustments from my insurance?! For all his expertise and time, and how much love/care he put into my surgery, that's just insane. I hope the NYU network compensates Dr. Feldman appropriately because he's amazing and they do not want to lose him. TLDR: I really hope to never need shoulder surgery again, but I'll definitely come back if I do.

He is no nonsense, talks straight and is very skilled and masterful. The office staff are helpful and everything about my diagnosis, surgery and post op visits has been excellent. I have recommended him to friends in need of an orthopedist and they have been happy with their results. Don't look any further. He is the absolute best at what he does.

NOT GOOD! Vicki creates a healing plan specifically with EACH individual in mind. :-) I also know that she REALLY knows what she's doing, because results say it all! The other times I came for sprains or other injuries, but this time it's after tendon surgery on my left foot. Vicki is directly above my podiatrist group downstairs, & can consult with my doctor who did the surgery. I was in a LOT of pain still before I started PT. I am now only in my second week of PT, & am starting to see a HUGE improvement in pain level & range of movement! I would recommend Innovative Physical Therapy highly, so much so that I will NOT go anywhere else! My rating: A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

By way of comparison: both an Italian and a Russian doctor were able to diagnose me in just 10 minutes during an online consultation--immediately after reviewing my test results. The diagnosis: axillary nerve compression. This Dr. Rokito is a terrible human being who is indifferent to people's health; perhaps he is simply an incompetent specialist, but I suspect he is merely uninterested in patients with low-cost insurance plans--moreover, I distinctly felt that I was being treated with disdain. I spent two months waiting to see this Rokito, only for the doctor himself to grant me a paltry 10 minutes--and not even provide a diagnosis, essentially stating just one thing: "I cannot, and will not, help you." Doctors like this should burn in hell--or find a profession other than medicine.

He sent me to NYU Langone Orthopedic Center, and after a few month of exercise there and at home with exercises the Tech showed me, my shoulder was as good as new. No operation! Recently, I had a lot of pain behind my knee. I hadn't fallen nor did I bump my knee. After three days, I could not walk without a crutch. I was in pain so bad, I was crying. Dr. Rokito said I had water on my knee, a by-product of the arthritis I had in my knees, which I never felt and never knew about. He did an aspiration of almost a tube full of water, gave me a cortisone shot, and I was able to walk without help that evening. I am following up with exercise at the same Orthopedic Center but, meanwhile, I feel fine. There's nothing better than a surgeon who "fixes" you withOUT surgery!

I am writing this review now because I have been to see 2 other Drs regarding my right foot over the past year & both looked @ my left foot & could not believe my left ankle was fused.....until they saw my Xrays. Amazing and extremely patient. I was in excruciating pain when I arrived to get X-rays taken-…read moreliterally was screaming and crying from pain as the kind technician tried to take images. Dr. Rose entered the X-ray room and adjusted my leg in a position which I was no longer screaming and the technician was able to take clear images. When he examined my knee he immediately saw them felt the amount of fluid that was causing me grave pain so he provided me with lidocaine first then withdrew 40ccs of blood from my knee! Insane! Instant relief and a better knee brace that helped stabilize me more.

He's got an amazing instinct and found the underlying problem immediately. 1st vist - 50% less pain. 2nd visit - 90% less pain. Who can argue with that success. I've seen over a dozen chiro's around N. America, and I'll be continuing to see him while I'm in NYC. He's funny too.

I truly believe he was integral to my ability to complete four marathons and my overall well being as I enter middle age. At times, he can fall behind. As NY'ers, we all hate to wait and it can be hard when your whole day falls behind because a therapy visit. However, in my experience, he falls behind because he treats each patient so thoroughly and wants to address everyone's needs. He wants every patient to walk out feeling better and he will squeeze people into his already busy day for emergencies - like an upcoming marathon. I've been made to wait, but I've also had very long therapy sessions when I needed them. I refer all of my friends to Dr. Bochner and think his skill treating soft tissue injuries (tendon, ligaments and muscle pain) and athletes.

I waited over an hour without complaining even though the place was empty. Just to be seeing for 2 minutes!!! He didn't explain anything! His exact words: your son may or may not have a fracture follow up in 2 weeks and he just walked away. His stuff rude and nasty just like him. When I asked to talk to him again they laughed and mumbled among themselves. How disgusting and disturbing in a place where you seek medical help being treated like this! This will be my first and last time! People avoid this place at all cost!
