Thank you!! Let me begin with the ALL the staff at Boat City Marine were awesome in many ways!…read more On 01-10-2026 I went to the boat show very skeptical about buying a boat and had the thought process of I'm just looking today and won't find a boat yet. The staff were very professional and not forceful during the process of me looking at the boat. I spent around 2 to 3 hours sitting on the boat, walking around the boat, and talking to the staff about anything and everything. My decision to buy the boat was me liking the boat a lot and due to the setup and colors. The second reason was as mentioned above the staff were not forceful on purchasing as some dealers can be at times. I ended up adding on a fishing Bimini top and upgrading to a tandem axle trailer for longer trips down the road. The staff worked very well with me on these upgrades and made the add-on process smooth for me as a buyer. Thank you again!!!! When I noticed the boat I knew right away it was what I wanted. I loved the floor plan, the engine size, the fish finder/gps, and the trolling motor setup! As a buyer a person knows when the right boat is in front of them! The first thing that caught my attention was the paint job/colors! I didn't even look at the price tag until after telling myself "this could be my boat". The price on the boat was a very reasonable price. I priced the boat several times to ensure my calculations were on point with the discounted price they had on the boat. The boat price was truthful and the discounts they had applied were on point. The staff again was amazing in every way! The boat was what I wanted. I would recommend anyone looking for a smooth transaction of buying any type of boat to use Boat City Marine! Thank you again for helping with making my fishing adventures great! I'm a very proud owner of a 2025 Smoker Craft Adventurer 188 DC Pro!

Now, as the response to my original review states: "This bizarre and slanderous story never happened" There would need to be a requirement that the claim be false. The bill showing the charge would show otherwise, that I was in fact a customer of Tibble Law Office. Granted, I did use colorful language to describe the situation, but this is an opinion site and I was stating my opinion. To address the second portion of the response to my original review: "There are a number of misconceptions about traffic cases that this article perpetuates 1. Attorneys do not negotiate with a judge, only the prosecutor 2. In Michigan you can never negotiate the number of points a violation carries. They are automatically assigned after conviction. Prosecutors cannot impact a matter that is only a State function. The way to reduce points is to have the case dismissed or amended to a different charge. 3. Traffic cases are prosecuted differently in each jurisdiction. Students at WMU often deal with a less flexible system than in nearby districts. Having a knowledgable attorney can give the best information and approach to increase your odds of success. " I am NOT a lawyer and I never claimed to be. In the process of stating my OPINION, I am sure that I may have gotten the technical terms in statement "1." mixed up. How many times have you gone to the doctor to describe your ischemic bi-lateral pulmonary infarcation concerns based on a contra-indicated series of prescriptions causing tachycardia? That's right: you don't. You complain of chest pains, because you are a layperson, just like me. To address "2.": I'm sure this may be the law, yet, I was told otherwise by Mr. Tibble at the time of the "defense". 3. I'm sure all traffic courts are pretty inflexible, but your best bet is probably to show up at court to fight the ticket by yourself and if the officer does not show up, you may have the case dismissed. No lawyer required. Like I said before this is an OPINION site and I'm merely expressing my opinion. I'm sure even this response can have the "magic" of the law waved over it to make it appear that I'm some random anonymous Internet person faking all of this, but you should ask yourself these two questions: 1. Why would I go through all of this trouble digging up credit card statements to prove I was a customer? 2. If you were considering using this law office, would you risk being not even acknowledged as a customer?

Mid-February I was in the middle of completing some billing work that I needed to turn into my…read morebiller and my USB device failed. I began freaking out and quickly contacted a team member at the Computer Guild. I was told to bring my device in and there was a potential that some data recovery could be done but it was difficult to tell before actually getting it into the shop. I dropped it off and was contacted by a gentleman, Joe, he explained that he had been looking at the device for about eight hours and was unable to recover any data. My heart was broken because every document accumulated as an adult has been saved on this USB device. Every progress note for client; every tax return; every billing episode; every credential that I've ever gained; documents from when I was still in college; study guides for state exams that I wanted to keep; client letters; college transcripts; job applications; court documents; invoices and receipts; resumes and cover letters; student loan info; literally everything as an adult has been kept on this USB drive. I essentially explain to Joe that I would come back and pick it up and pay whatever the cost was to do the diagnostic on the USB and didn't hear from him for awhile. Well that evening he called and said that he found a company that specializes in data recovery for USB devices and he said that he already contacted them and they were willing to look at my USB device free of charge and then run a diagnostic; tell us what could be recovered if anything and then also give us a quote. Now, I don't know how familiar people are with great customer service and I can say prior to this circumstance my experience with customer service has been primarily substandard. I was so elated that Joe took the added and truly unnecessary step of contacting this other company. He had no obligation to do so but in keeping with the Computer Guild's mantra, he went above and beyond and performed due diligence by seeking this company out. Joe took care of all of the shipping, all of the communication with this company and sent me a quote. I was hopeful that the quote (because it ranged) I received was going to be on the lower end by the time that the work was completed but it was hard to tell before the company was actually able to complete the entire diagnostic. The company comes back and says that they were able to recover about 95 to 98% of what was on the USB drive but the quote at that point increased exponentially, almost double the original quote. Joe called me and explained. I informed him I was not prepared to pay that amount and essentially told him that I apologize for wasting his time but I cannot afford that. Joe assured me that in no way did this waste his time and he was happy to help. He planned to communicate my sentiments to the company and essentially have them send the USB drive back. I got a call about a day later from Joe saying that he essentially went to bat for me and advocated with the company for them to drop the price to half of what the quote was. I was literally in tears when he told me this because I had already come to terms with the fact that I was just going to lose every bit of data I ever acquired. I was on vacation at the time of this conversation but the company was unable to move forward without payment upfront. Joe again sprung into action and the as able to negotiate the company renting the money until I got back in town. I've never been so pleased with a company in my life!!!! I love Joe!!! And the guys at the shop, everyone was incredibly accommodating and beyond helpful!!!! I'm so humbled and appreciative of them!!! They literally saved my life!!!
