My husband told me to find someone to come out and see if they could fix them. I called 3 places (2 of which still have NOT returned my calls) when I spoke with Dave @ Heritage (on a Tuesday night) I explained to him what was going on and he came out the next day (Wednesday night) and looked at them, gave us an estimate (which I was expecting it to be 3 times as much-He also told my hubby that if we were not happy with how they turn out - we wouldn't owe him a dime). He was out on Thursday to fix them. OMG they were beyond what I thought they would be- they are BEAUTIFUL. He came out on Friday to inspect them...we had 2 little places that needed looked at and he fixed them. We are having him back out to re do our living room and new steps in the next few weeks.

When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.
