We just downsized into a condo and wanted to have the shower/tub converted into a walk-in shower…read more This was our first real dealing with a contractor since I had always done work around my house myself. We wanted someone local who has been in business for a long time. My wife did a search and Kuhn plumbing came up. We did not know they also had a business for remodeling - Remodeling Pros. My wife called and we met Rick Kuhn at the condo and he went through what was involved and made great suggestions. Because we are getting a little older, we wanted a seat and grab bars. Rick suggested that the grab bars be located for easy use - easier than you normally see. We then met Tracy Kuhn at their showroom in Oswego to pick out the Corian walls, shower base, and plumbing. We received an updated estimate on the spot. We liked what we saw wrote a check for a deposit to get the materials ordered and get on their schedule. The end product was more than outstanding. The process was surprisingly smooth. Make no mistake that issues do come up. Since we did not have the entire bathroom done, there was a gap between the existing tile floor and the shower base. But the proof of a great company is the resolution of the issues and the way they strive to make sure they are happy. That's right, you can tell that they want to make sure the job is done the way they would want it done. That way, they know you will be satisfied. Their solution was a tapered strip of Corian so that it appeared as an extension of the shower base - beautiful! There is no doubt that Remodeling Pros did a great job and I would use them again. It's not just the quality work they do but the way they treat you. They do more than bathrooms so the possibilities are endless. We are very pleased.

Unprofessional and Unresponsive: My Experience with WP Home Improvements…read more I hired William from WP Home Improvements, and it turned out to be a very frustrating experience. He failed to complete the work as we had agreed, and it was clear from his workmanship that he was not familiar with the proper installation process for this type of equipment. He really shouldn't have bid on a job he wasn't qualified to do. When I tried to contact him to address these issues, he went completely silent. He ignored all of my texts and voicemails. This is especially frustrating because he was so quick to respond when he was bidding on the job. Once he had my money, his communication stopped entirely.
