I called to schedule an appointment for a chronic orthopedic pain issue--something that is ongoing and significantly impacts my quality of life--and instead of receiving even basic assistance, I was met with condescension and dismissive behavior. The staff acted as though my concerns were an inconvenience rather than a legitimate medical need. They refused to properly assist me in scheduling and offered no guidance, alternatives, or solutions. There was zero empathy, zero professionalism, and absolutely no sense of patient care. For a medical office, especially one dealing with orthopedic issues, this level of disrespect and lack of support is unacceptable. Patients dealing with chronic pain should not have to fight just to be heard or to book an appointment. I would strongly caution others before attempting to seek care here. The way patients are treated at the first point of contact says everything--and in this case, it's not good.

I was brought into the exam room and he initially came in timely to have a discussion and review my injuries, treatment, etc... Then he left me in the room and treated other patients, while I waited and waited.... I happen to work in the industry and know what is expected and what should be done. In no way did he palpate and complete a full, thorough exam. Though once the report arrived, it implied that he did. This is disheartening and just seems to support the opinion of many in the industry that the IME doctors don't do a complete exam and they often favor the insurance carrier. He asked initially if I wanted to video or record the exam. At the time, I didn't even think about it but in hindsight, wish that I had. A video would have supported he did not complete a full exam. I do feel he seemed to have a good bedside manner and was friendly. I can't speak to his ability to perform chiropractic adjustments. For some potential patients too, it is worth noting that parking is limited. I had to park up the street and walk a fair distance. If someone has injuries that making walking a long distance painful, this could be an obstacle.

I recently woke up with a pain in my neck. I thought I just had a bad night of sleep, but the pain…read morepersisted. Eventually, it started to creep down into my shoulder blades, arm and chest. My doctor diagnosed a pinched nerve and suggested I try physical therapy. I had a difficult time finding a physical therapist. After striking out with several PT places on my health insurance network site, I finally landed at TSA Physical Therapy. They accepted my insurance, were close to my work and had appointment hours after 5 PM, which I was looking for so I didn't have to take time off for work. They were very friendly and helpful when I originally called for information as well, so I decided to give them a try. There are two doctors at TSA, Amy Vandreason and Troy Andrews. I was paired with Troy, who has been a practicing Physical Therapist in the Syracuse area for over 25 years. His experience encompasses over 30 years in the fields of sports medicine, orthopedic rehab and exercise science. He received a BS in Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical University and a BS in Exercise Science from Cortland State. TSA is in a small strip mall in East Syracuse. I arrived a couple minutes early, met Troy at the front desk, turned in my new patient forms, and filled our a questionnaire about my pain. I was brought back to a table where Troy asked a couple other questions about my pain, the location, and whether certain things made it worse or helped. I laid down on the table and Troy used several different massage techniques to not only relieve my pain, but adjust other parts of my body that were making up for the pain I was dealing with. The appointment was only around 45 minutes and by the end, I was no longer in pain and Troy gave me a couple exercises to do at home to get my body back to working the way it's supposed to. Troy was very friendly and very informative and explained everything that he was doing and why. He was able to pinpoint exactly where my pain was and what muscles were affected quickly and seemed very knowledgeable about my exact injury. When I told him my pain was gone, he did not pressure me into a follow up appointment as some places have been known to do, and basically told me to do my exercises, and if I felt I NEEDED another appointment, to contact him. I'd definitely recommend their services and will go back if I ever need any sort of physical therapy in the future.

I became a Patient in May of 2014, in the 1st meeting he suggested I might want to do a a complete over hall with my diet..... We are still working on getting my back better.... while waiting for Dr. Walsdorf, I saw a sign on the wall about a 21 day detox, called Standard process. We talked about it, I researched and many people liked it, I even told Dr. Walsdorf that one person had lost 21 pds. another 15, non of which know/knew Dr. Walsdorf. Dr. Waldorf said those are not typical results or something to that nature, expect to lose 10-12 pounds, I was so hyped to lose at lease the 21 pds. that another user lost. I said my faith will not be shaken and lil did I know the plan of God.... I lost an astounding 27 1/2 pounds. And my eating habits are much healthier, my life has changed for the better.
