She did not have tap for her credit cards or debit cards and my credit card and debit card is only tap. It cannot be slid in the machine. It will not accept the payment. It rejects at a later time and I have to go back and pay people. But she was kind friendly and she was very nice. She did wrap the flowers beautifully I was able to take them and be happy with the way they looked and stuff but I just was like I said I've been put off by the price. Two items were in good order, just poorly boxed which is unusual for Hallmark but it is their busy season. I had the pre-paid order detail and after going back and forth with Paper Store Manager and Hallmark Manager (on-site), i was told they couldn't help me with a refund or exchange because they aren't Hallmark. I had no idea. It was not a good customer service experience but I've never had a problem there before, just the opposite. The one time I did I was basically told we can't help you and there's nothing we can do. You have to deal with Hallmark even though they carry the same products in the store. The owner Ashraf gave us an enthusiastic tour of the store, pointing out a variety of things and explaining each in detail. Hand-beaded Egyptian cotton dresses. Beaded headdresses. Custom earrings. Beautiful perfume bottles. Handbags. When we explained the purpose of our visit, he honed in on specifics. He had t-shirts. He had pyramids. He had hookahs - no, scratch that. He had statues of various Gods and Goddesses. Nothing seemed just right. And then came the offer. "I can make him a Khartouche on papyrus. Just give me his name." The birthday boy's name written in hieroglyphs on papyrus, suitable for framing! Hmm. It was too good to be true! This wasn't just a birthday present; it was a soon-to-be treasured possession. It was perfect! We gave Ashraf the boy's name and agreed to pick up the Khartouche that evening. When our young friend opened his gift he was speechless. He knew immediately what it was and what it said. He just held it carefully in his hands and stared. I'm sure it has taken residence in a place of esteem in an 8 year-old's room. Being in the wedding industry myself, I am extremely picky about who to entrust on our big day. Having a wealth of contacts to plan our own wedding, we undoubtedly knew Veronica was THE ONE for us! From our first interview with her she was on point, meticulous and had a back up plan for our "back up plan". She listened to our needs and wedding vision, kept me motivated and on time with my checklists and truly "got it". From day one I conveyed to her that we were looking for a "bulldog" day of coordinator/Superwoman that could handle a large wedding party (11 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen), large family, out of towner guests and whatever drama might enfold. I wanted someone as detailed as I am, if not more but who truly cares and understands the entire process. We found all that in Veronica, and then some! Her attention to detail is above and beyond. She has her templates, checklists and timelines down to a science. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch (at least that I am aware of). That's what I call a GREAT day of coordinator. I was never concerned or bothered by things that came up because it was fixed before I even knew about it. She was there for us until the very end which was 1:00 AM and was so attentive and checked in on us often!! LOVE that! By the way, she's so much fun and had a blast singing/dancing along with her and our FAB DJ. Our family and friends fell in love with her as well, that I almost forgot she was my planner. :) In a good way that is. She was extremely professional but was so down to earth, she was like family. She's a friend for life!! I highly recommend her and her team. In conclusion: Do yourself a favor, stop looking and call Veronica for your big day!
