However, she has seemingly vanished and I cannot reach anyone to schedule an appointment despite multiple phone calls, voicemails, and texts. I paid $1200 for 6 treatments of my underarms and bikini area, and started to have trouble scheduling appointments after my second visit. Now I have been unable to reach her for several months. Imagine my shop when my never aging wife tells me that not only do THEY use Botox but she has been doing it for years and also get juvederm for lip injections. After fighting the shock and making a mental note to start checking the bank account on a regular basis, I was more curious then ever. Next thing you know, we're at a salon in downtown and were speaking to a doctor. I'm the type of husband that once the wife says to do it, I do it. So I signed some forms and got a couple needle pricks. The doc that did assured me that I would still look natural and not resemble the housewives of anything. So, couple days pass and I don't see any changes. Patience is not my virtue and I'm sure many can relate to the frustration of not having what you paid for, but to keep the Mrs. Happy, I keep my mouth shut and decided to just let it go. The next day, it kicked in and I couldn't move my forehead or make those lines around my eyes. It has now been almost 5 months since I had it done and I can still see the effect and I'm going to continue doing it. Heck, I might even try some laser hair removal one of these days. Even though I am happy with the outcome of the Botox, my review is to applaud Avalon Medical Spa on their customer service. About a week after the appointment, Julia called to follow up and see if I had any questions or concerns. And just yesterday I received another call. She said she knew I lived out of town and couldn't come in again, but offered to take some time to find a good doctor in my area and send him my treatment records to make sure i received the same results and thank me again for coming in. Anyway, owning my own company, I know that little things like that go a long way so I wanted to share my experience with the rest of Yelp.

SCAM ALERT! Would not recommend for a few different reasons…read more.. 1. Purchased Groupon (probably my first mistake). The Groupon fine print is wrong. They give 3 options (to purchase 20, 40, or 60 units) of Botox, however there was only one "clickable" option to purchase the 20 units. I assumed (incorrectly) that they would have honored the pricing of the 40 & 60 units since the description in the Groupon gave that option. 2. The Groupon was wrong (again). The "list price" for the 20 units was "$240". When I inquired about buying an additional 20 units they quoted me "$250". When I asked about the discrepancy, they again declined to honor the listed pricing. 3 The sales person who sees you prior to the injector explained the areas available to be treated. (for an additional cost) I told her I "just wanted the Groupon for my forehead." Afterward, she redeemed the Groupon and charged me $260 "for an extra area". She explained that the forehead was "2 areas". I understand a salesperson wanting to make a sale, but this is fraud. I explicitly stated the opposite of what they did. I paid the $260 and left. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star because the receptionist and injector were kind.

It was only harder for a few minutes. Then my left arm. Again. Like a back rub. Not a deep tissue. So light I fell asleep. You should not be able to fall asleep during a deep tissue massage. There also shouldn't be a problem with me falling asleep. But. When I complained he kept saying I fell asleep like that was a problem. The table is also extremely narrow.
