My child needs a referral instead of the 100 of doctors guessing what is wrong. The issue originally started back at the end of March we are now in July and still no solution and no referral. However they say they put the referral in and yet I get to call to schedule long behold no referral arrives. If you do not know what you are doing I rather you say that, I work a different facility much larger and way more volume so I would know.

I'm finally home!…read more When I paid Philadelphia a visit late 2018, I had to make my way to the main campus of PCOM (Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine). Being a graduate at the satellite campus in Georgia (which is unique in that it has a PharmD program), I needed to be able to walk the campus and explore. While I did not get a true tour since I just showed up randomly, staff actually tried to accommodate me, and were only unable to because they were holding interviews for potential candidates. I'm not going to go over the degrees offered here, because you probably know what they offer if you're searching med schools. In truth, I can't even speak on the professors because my experience was in Georgia (many of the professors in pharmacy school were excellent, FYI). Instead i'm just going to speak on the campus and the staff. Being a 17 acre campus, I ran around the campus like a kid on a playground, current students likely looking at me like I needed medical help. From the central courtyard to the lovely fountain and garden area, all the way to the Levin Administration building, that looks like it was built in the early 1900s (because it was), all held a charm that I really couldn't stop smiling over. That the campus is just a few minutes from downtown Philadelphia is even better. I would've had a blast on this campus. Very excited to call myself an Alumni of PCOM, and finally able to walk the original campus. Thanks to the great staff, who did there best to accommodate me just showing up, hopeful for a tour. Definitely put a smile on my face during my time in Philly, and while I won't be back for another degree, I just may return for a tour when I'm back in Philly! Study hard!

I recently completed Level II Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) training after completing Level I…read moretraining last November. The training/workshops are an excellent introduction to CBT. The training helped me realize that CBT is an effective psychotherapy that has more depth and nuances than a 'manual-based' psychotherapy, as CBT is often referred to. When I read Dr. Aaron Beck's book, Cognitive Therapy of Depression I said that the book should be required reading for all graduate counseling programs. After completing the trainings I am sorry I did not begin training in CBT while in graduate school or immediately after graduating (as one of my professors urged me to do). The training is thorough and informative. The training has helped me help my patients while also helping me improve my self as a psychotherapist. As I mentioned, the curriculum is excellent. But I could not write a review without mentioning how knowledgeable, professional and passionate the instructors are. The workshops are a great introduction to CBT. I realized to become proficient as a CBT therapist I would need additional training/supervision. I look forward to beginning supervision in the Beck Institute supervision program this spring and attending the workshop on CBT and PTSD this Fall. I am glad that I made the investment in time and money to attend the CBT workshops at the Beck Institute. I am sure it will pay dividends for my patients and my practice in the future.

My son has been in that school for 6 years and in this time these are the issues we've had…read more - private duty nurses coming home nearly in tears due to mistreatment. -my son came home with rug burns and bruising bc combination of private duty nurse and school failing to comply with his IEP. -overall toxicity reported by private duty nurses about Gina (nurse) and entire HR department. HR department and staff routinely discuss 6 figure salary of teachers and other staff in front of nurses that make much less (nurses felt demeaned and demoralized) -defaming of parents, spreading lies about home lives, sharing private medical information about families (illegal). They have a private text chat where they speak poorly about everyone who isn't there, including families. -instructors/aids called me names (b%$tch) in front of a private duty nurses and my son (defamatory). - staff told my nurse she was being replaced (I wasn't going to fire her). By the time I got home there was nothing I could do as the lies told there meant she no longer trusted me. - not knowing my son was not in school when he was there. - Per my nurses, one teacher is only in classroom for a combined 2 hours per school day. Always seem to be at lunch, micromanaging nurses. I have expressed concerns to school, but this behavior is justified. Apparently there is a reason for this. -My son was supposed to be in a room with other non-ambulatory children (he has CP), my son was placed in a classroom where 1 child threw desks, nurse left classroom for hours at a time due to my son's safety. Neither nurse nor school sought fit to communicate this to me. - not communicating when my son was not in the classroom. There were several hours where I could not account for my son's whereabouts. -Recently, my son waited in nurses office for 7 hours because nurses office, HR office and nursing agencies refuse to speak to one another. I have high turn-over partially bc of the unprofessional behavior at the school. The other challenge is that my son is getting larger. My son can't attend this school without a nurse. This means we cycle through nurses. Staff routinely lies and defames us. - Just this week, the nursing credentials were provided to school staff the day prior (prior to end of school hours) Gina then failed to communicate to HR. When credentials were sent, HR sat on them for 2.5 hours before alerting agency there was a problem with the documentation. While this inept behavior was occurring, my son and his nurse were threatened that they needed to leave immediately. Please think twice before sending your kids here..... I wanted this to work and all I want to do is cry. These are some of the most unprofessional people. The only good thing is that they at least act like they care about my son. I worked so hard to get my son here and am now regretting my decision.

I wouldn't recommend booking with this company if there's any chance you need to cancel…read more I scheduled with them and approx 5 hours later called to cancel because my son had already set up a drivers test appointment elsewhere. They were pushy and pretty insistent that I keep my appointment because of "high"PayPal fees. This rubbed me the wrong way because none of this is posted on their website. Was also told I needed a supervisor to discuss any refunds. She didn't call. When I called back the second day she was again very off putting and warned me of a heavy PayPal fees for getting refunded but didn't know how much the fees are. Now mind you, I didn't use PayPal at all I used my credit card but was told they use PayPal as a third party. (Cop out excuse) and also somewhat shady because any legitimate business would have their own business bank account which doesn't need a third party. I was charged a $35 refund fee. When I called PayPal to ask about this fee they said they had no record of this payment whatsoever and if they had, fees would be on the merchant and not the consumer. This feels like a company who no matter what will take a cut of any money they can get. I will be disputing the final $35 with my credit card company not because of the money but on principle for this shady deal. SIDENote: had a great experience with Defensive Driving Academy and was a fraction of the price that these scammers charge. UPDATED: the owner of this business did contact me and gave me a the rest of my refund. It was obvious she cared to make this right and assured me that she would be communicating with her staff regarding customer service. I appreciated that and have respect for her making good of this situation. She clearly understands good customer service and wasn't wasting any time to resolve this matter.
