There are three main reasons I say this: First, the money stays local. They are a credit union so they are owned by their depositors. The profits go back to the local area. The pricing and rates are exceptional. Thier mortgages and loans are generally about 1/4% to 1/2% below the big guys. Their money market is well above average. The service is always exceptional. They offer notary, which is great. Nominally, they charge $10 per signature, but they often wave it. But even more so, their tellers are always friendly and helpful.

Due to the nature of the issue, they recommended I go to my local branch and speak to a banker, which I did on Nov 2, 2023 at the Petaluma branch on Western Ave. Alvaro Pulido assisted me with my account. I would say it was a very good experience. Alvaro listened carefully to my questions and concerns, examined my account and the transactions in question, and effectively clarified everything for me. I left with a good understanding of my account and I felt happy with the experience. You can tell when someone really wants to help you and Alvaro really does. I recommend him to anyone that wants to speak to a professional banker that also cares.
