I went into the Lodi branch of Central State Credit Union to see if I could get some info on how to get a personal loan to pay for some educational costs. While there, Marissa Chavarria helped me and in addition spoke to me about refinancing my auto loan that was held with another entity. She blew me out of the water with her knowledge, personality and we refinanced my auto loan today. I am now blessed with a 25% monthly reduction in my monthly auto loan payment thanks to Marissa's help and genuine interest in talking to me about my whole financial picture not just the reason I originally walked into the bank today. I am thrilled with the service I received today from Marissa and the other staff in the bank.

There is good though, The Bankers are super friendly and always trying to help, its local so I get to keep money in the local economy as Local Credit unions tend to lend local more often than not. The whole technology thing might be a deal breaker as I am a small business S Corp and I need to be able to move things in an out of my accounts. After leaving that experience upset, I went to Bank of Stockton on my way to see my mom, who is currently fighting cancer. When I explained my situation to Karen, she was incredibly helpful, kind, and efficient. The transaction was quick and easy, but more importantly, she treated me with compassion and respect. After being treated so poorly at the previous bank, it truly meant a lot to be welcomed with care and professionalism. Thank you, Karen, for making such a difference in my day.
