    It's obvious that the employees don't like it there either. PLEASE choose another bank, NOT Chase.

    Am so glad they don't have the same manager anymore. now when i go in there everyone is smiling makes everything so much smoother

I opened a teen account for my son years back and when it came time to close the account, they kept refusing. I went inside in person because I assumed there was some sort of miscommunication and they still refused to let me close the account. I took out all the money and they said they wanted to keep it open "in case he ever changed his mind". I had been there for over an hour and had tried multiple times to close it online and I just couldn't waste any more time. I honestly should have reported them for fraud at that time but I still had another account there. Looking back, it was probably a part of the fake-accounts scandal they were found guilty of. Another time I was having an issue with my account, I went in to talk to someone and the only reason I am not giving one star was that they were prioritizing non-english speaking customers, meaning that although I was waiting first, they took another woman before me because she did not speak English and the agent that opened up was bilingual. I am not complaining about that, I actually thought that was very thoughtful and that's why they get an extra star. Overall this is definitely a 1 star bank but at least this branch cares about vulnerable customers. I recently got a credit card from this location and I have had it less than a month but they freeze my card after every two transactions so I just cancelled the card but it was a nightmare. I should have known better and will never do business with this bank again. I recommend you don't either.

After leaving that experience upset, I went to Bank of Stockton on my way to see my mom, who is currently fighting cancer. When I explained my situation to Karen, she was incredibly helpful, kind, and efficient. The transaction was quick and easy, but more importantly, she treated me with compassion and respect. After being treated so poorly at the previous bank, it truly meant a lot to be welcomed with care and professionalism. Thank you, Karen, for making such a difference in my day. In hard times, kindness goes a long way, and I am grateful for the way you listened and helped me.

I am changing my review to a 4 and not a 5 because this error should never have occurred Bank of Stockton as a whole is just awful Taking deposits meant for one account and incorrectly depositing them. Then they say Oops oh well, can't help you. Geeze I never thought a small local Bank could be as bad as Wells Fargo but Bank of Stockton has proven that they are no better than the big banks.

    I went into this location in Lodi to complete a cash advance with my USAA debit card. A gentleman…read morebegan to assist me, but when he asked the teller down the way about the transaction, she loudly responded from across the way that it could not be done without Executive Director approval, which could take hours. She never walked over to address me directly and instead chose to speak over everyone in the branch. This was unprofessional, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate in front of other customers. She apologized to the customers waiting . Check the cameras ! I was calm even after getting off a 16 hour shift as an officer and driving hours away . I explained that the funds were urgently needed for my mother's cancer treatment. My mother is on her deathbed, and I had just driven three hours from the Bay Area in traffic . The lack of courtesy, empathy, and professionalism shown at this branch was appalling. I later went to another branch where the cash advance was completed without issue, which makes the refusal at Lodi even more unacceptable. The service here left me with a terrible impression of F&M Bank. In a small community like Lodi, customer service should mean more, not less. This branch needs serious review and staff retraining. The way I was spoken to and dismissed is not the standard any bank should allow to represent its brand.

I went through the drive-in line at this branch, and the young woman with the piercing on her chin took my check and my debit card without saying a word and then disappeared for about 15-20 minutes without any other communication. After 15 minutes I rang the bell and no one came to the window. Three minutes late another young lady came out with a glare on her face and handed me my debit card. I asked why it took so long and she said that she had to verify with the person who wrote the check (I deposit these monthly). And that that was all the information that she was willing to provide me. It was an extremely rude interaction and I have been so unimpressed with this branch overall, I finally felt the need to leave a review. All other branches have been incredible. I just want F&M to know that the employees at this specific branch are incredibly unfriendly and I don't want them to lose customers because of this.
