I just got off the phone with them and they are charging me late fee and return fee also. I think that's bullsh*t because they put it back in my bank. I even called my bank to make sure they weren't blocking it for any reason they said it was returned by onemain financial. While I was in the home with onemain she said they have been trying to call me since the payment hasn't gone through and has left me a voicemail every time but I do not have one missed call from them or a voicemail. I have gone through with them before at the Roseville location had no problems with my payments ever and this one Lodi one does seem to be trustworthy to me at this point. Three agents told me they could not find a tow service in the area to pick me up and asked me if they could come out at five in the morning which is about six hours from now. Unacceptable. I called a service on my own and paid for it out of my own pocket. I am now home, 30 miles away from where I was stranded and Allstate has still yet to call me to let me know they have found a tow service. I went into this location in Lodi to complete a cash advance with my USAA debit card. A gentleman…read morebegan to assist me, but when he asked the teller down the way about the transaction, she loudly responded from across the way that it could not be done without Executive Director approval, which could take hours. She never walked over to address me directly and instead chose to speak over everyone in the branch. This was unprofessional, embarrassing, and completely inappropriate in front of other customers. She apologized to the customers waiting . Check the cameras ! I was calm even after getting off a 16 hour shift as an officer and driving hours away . I explained that the funds were urgently needed for my mother's cancer treatment. My mother is on her deathbed, and I had just driven three hours from the Bay Area in traffic . The lack of courtesy, empathy, and professionalism shown at this branch was appalling. I later went to another branch where the cash advance was completed without issue, which makes the refusal at Lodi even more unacceptable. The service here left me with a terrible impression of F&M Bank. In a small community like Lodi, customer service should mean more, not less. This branch needs serious review and staff retraining. The way I was spoken to and dismissed is not the standard any bank should allow to represent its brand.

When we moved to Stockton 5+ years ago, we were advised by Mr. Kroll and his staff to get "uninsured motorist" coverage added to our car insurance. I understand that our area has a large percentage of uninsured motorists. Thank goodness we purchased the coverage. If we had not, I would now be paying (out of pocket) a HUGE deductible toward getting my car repaired. His office has helped tremendously through this repair process, and in communicating with (and documenting the status of) the driver responsible for the accident. When I took my car in for a repair estimate, guess what? Two other auto owners who had also been "hit" by uninsured drivers were getting estimates on their repairs. The problem is that THEIR insurance agents had never encouraged them to purchase "uninsured motorist" insurance until AFTER their accidents, so they must pay their pricey collision "deductibles" out of their own pockets. One gentleman was so angry that he is suing the uninsured driver in court. I am so grateful that Mr. Kroll and his staff took time in going through our choices when we moved to Stockton, and explained why it is a good idea to get "uninsured motorist" coverage, for a minimal fee. Mr. Kroll and his staff are extremely personable, professional and knowledgable. About two years ago, I discussed with them options for business insurance because a neighboring "county" was requiring that I (a non-resident consultant) have business insurance. State Farm had a product to offer, yet they suggested that I choose, instead, the "neighboring county" insurance plan because the price/value was great, and the plan was quite adequate. Again, I saved money, AND I gained confidence in the "out of county" plan because an unbiased professional who understood the plan took the time to help. Now that's an agent who has your best interests in mind.
