Everything looks so good that it was hard for me to decide what I wanted to eat. The service was prompt and efficient. They offer a $6.00 lunch special but the only meat selection you can choose from is the different varieties of chicken. The server suggested that we try the teriyaki chicken and we decided to get it. The teriyaki chicken was really good and I'm glad that I decided to try it based on his suggestion. The rice and beans, oh how enjoyable the rice and beans was......exactly how I love it. The lemonade was really good as well. I really enjoyed my meal at Loma and can't wait to come back soon. By the way, there is plenty of seating in the back and it's air conditioned.

The restaurant looked more of a take out spot and it appeared clean. The staff were very friendly and moved quickly to get people their orders. They had a small hot enclosed buffet style area and all of the food looked delicious. My mom told me about this spot since she's been here a few times and enjoyed the food. They had affordable lunch specials which was right up my alley and I ordered the stew chicken with rice and beans. I was able to eat my lunch and have seconds later on for dinner that's how plentiful the plate was for me. The food tasted just liked it look, "tasty." I wish it would've came with some plantains but it seems like you had to order them extra. I ordered a side of potato salad that my mom raved about and it was just okay to me. I will definitely return to check out some other menu items.

A pretty solid Diner and a satisfactory trip to the way there. It's definitely a popular joint,…read moredespite the pretty massive size of the spot, there were a lot of people there on a Tuesday morning. Despite the traffic, service time didn't take a hit from it. The waitress kindly took my order and I got all of my food within 10 minutes. I had the Fried Mozzarella for a starter, Chicken Caesar Honey Wrap with waffle fries for the entree and Iced Tea because I figured dessert would be too much for both my appetite and wallet. The Fried Mozzarella pieces had a type of pull that you would expect and one I haven't seen in awhile. It was delightful in taste and texture. The Ceasar Wrap and Waffle Fries were very filling. It was very good but it felt like I over ordered on food again so I finished as much as I could. I've had a pretty good meal at a fair enough price. The place has a lot to offer so you'll find something there.

We came after church for a birthday brunch. And the tunes were all gospel. The serve me was nice and attentive. This menu is Caribbean at heart 'n You can expect the over the top desserts. I had their bacalitos and jerk Salmon and we had a cheesecake for dessert. This bread basket with onion bread and cornbread nice and warm is a hit !!

Flatlands Buffet - Oh, I snapped a pic of a few desserts we took to go. They were tasty. The round sugar roll is my absolute fave though!

Then it's self serve for whatever your stomach desires. I'm a huge fan of seafood and soul food so I grabbed some salmon, chicken and broccoli, fried rice, lo mein, and some salad. We ended up at our neighborhood buffet, which has been around since my high school days. There's something nostalgic about walking through those doors again. I'd fully planned to snap pics and do a proper foodie breakdown (charged my phone and everything!), but once we were seated, all bets were off. The food? Not five-star, but it's fresh--and that matters. The high customer turnover keeps the trays rotating constantly, so nothing ever feels like it's been sitting. The fruit station gets points for presentation--everything looked washed and vibrant (though I gave a few pieces the side-eye just in case ). For under $30, it hit the spot. Not a gourmet experience, but perfect for a low-key, satisfying outing. It's nice to have a go-to place that's stood the test of time, and still delivers on value.
